    The running trail from Melag to the Melager Alm in Langtaufers is a scenic route for running enthusiasts. The run starts at the parking lot in the hamlet of Melag. From the parking lot, you run into the valley and turn right between the houses. Signs 2 and 5 mark the path, which is also clearly visible without markings. With a gentle incline, you jog to the Karlinbach, cross the bridge, and continue on a flat path to the alm. At the valley's end, there are impressive views of the snow-capped peaks surrounding the Weißkugel, with numerous three-thousanders flanking the valley to the north and south. The return is via the same route.
    As an alternative for runners, starting from the hamlet of Kappl at the former valley station of the Maseben lift is recommended, where you can follow the forest road to the Melager Alm

    A popular running route starts from the northwestern edge of Reschen village towards the Rescher Alm. Always follow the signs for Rescher Alm and marker number 3 along the bike path, past the Mühlanderhof, across the meadows, and later on the forest path past Tendershof. After several switchbacks on trail number 3B, you reach the Rescher Alm, which is managed year-round and offers a unique view of the lake and surrounding villages. The return is via trail number 7, past Vallierteck.

    A great challenging round over several peaks, but requiring some surefootedness and good weather. From Graun, you first follow the Panorama Trail (R6), turn off after about 3 km, cross the main road, and follow the trail up to the Joggl (Endkopf). Now you continuously follow the ridge over several peaks, up to the 2,909 m high Mittereggspitze, which offers a magnificent view of the Ortler. The route continues along the ridge, mostly downhill and over a last ascent to the summit of the Großhorn. Now you follow the path down the north side, past the Grauner Alm, and back to Graun to the starting point.

    The trails combines the nordic walking routes in the valley with the jogging routes on Monte Sole. It starts near Nischlhof holiday apartment rental and follows the “Kirchgraben” towards the Castel “Engelsburg”. Then it runs along the “Alter Kirchgraben” uphill all the way to the hut “Höfl” and finally the mountain station of the cable car “Unterstell” on 1.300 m altitude. With the cable car one reaches the valley again. Length: 3,6 km, altitude at starting point: 582, difference in altitude: 717

    If you want to engage in a real Sky Run, there’s an additional route that runs all the way up to the 2,951 m top of Kirchbachspitze. The trail starts at the Unterstell inn along route No 10a to Linthof inn on the Merano High Mountain Trail; from there it proceeds on trail no. 10 towards Dickhof inn, the Dicker Alm and the Obere Moaralm mountain huts. Then it follows routes no. 9 and no. 10A leading up to the top of the Kirchbachspitze. This involves an additional running distance of 8.6 km and difference in altitude of 1,677 m. The last part, below the peak, is very tricky and affords hiking experience.
