The Great Rasen Jogging Loop is a diverse running route around Niederrasen and Oberrasen. The loop combines peaceful forest paths, scenic sections along the forest edge, and pleasant stretches following the Antholz stream.
With its varied terrain and changing landscapes, the route is ideal for easy endurance runs as well as longer training sessions. Highlights include the quiet woodland sections between Niederrasen and Oberrasen and the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
The starting point is Niederrasen.
From there, the route first heads towards the campsite. Here, the trail turns right and follows the hiking route known as the “Rasen Village Loop”.
The path leads through peaceful forest sections to the Jagdhäusl and then continues towards the barbecue area in Oberrasen.
There, the route passes beneath the main road through the underpass and then follows the path along the Antholz stream back through Oberrasen and on to Niederrasen, returning to the starting point.
