Route of the Ötzi Trailrun on the Sonnenberg / Monte Sole of Naturno
Experience the sunny and tranquil atmosphere of Meransen on this varied route. Medium difficulty with breathtaking views of the Pustertal and Eisacktal – perfect for runners with good fitness who love combining sport and nature.
This route includes the entire length of the Nordic Walking circuit on the lower Naturno Sonnenberg. Starting from the Nischlhof, head towards the Kirchgraben and the bridge over the Engelsburg then turn left to the Schwalbennest Jausenstation. The route then leads up to where it meets the Waalburgweg path and on to the Wiedenplatzer Keller. From there it goes on along the asphalted road and downwards to the Sonnenberger Panorama Path which leads you to Pardell. From there, take the path down along the asphalted road as far as the Weintal and past the two farmhouses at Stein and Fallegg until just before the Rusthof farm to the Sonnenberger Panorama Path and the Vogeltenn Promenade back to your starting point.
The demanding tour leads through the forest heading to “Hartl” with a wonderful view to the Langkofel and Plattkofel.
This wonderful loop route leads over the sunny slopes of the Col da la Dodesc with beautiful panoramic views over the whole Seiser Alm.
This somewhat more difficult route starts from the Nischlhof farm and follows along the Schlossweg Path for about 150mt. before turning right and heading upwards to the road which leads to Hochnaturns Castle. It then goes on up towards the Sonnenberg and the Falkenstein Guesthouse then follows no. 6, a short, steep path, up to the Walburgweg path. Turn right along the Walburgweg path and go on to the Wiedenplatzer Keller, then head down along the asphalted road and on downwards to the Sonnenberger Panorama Path which takes you to the Vogeltenn Promenade and back again to the starting point.

Starting from the Schermoos parkplace, follow trail no. 7 and then the E5 european long-distance trail to reach the Edelweiss restaurant. Come back to your place of departure walking back on the same trail. Duration of the excursion: 2 hours and 40 minutes - Drop/rise: 290 m
This trail is rather uneven, running along the entire segment is recommended only for experienced runners.
This route starts at the mountain station of the Unterstell/Naturno cable-car and heads up to the Meraner Höhenweg which it follows in the direction of the Schnals valley as far as the Lindhof. It then leads downwards past Patleid and back to the start again at the Unterstell farm.
The first part of this easy trail run starts at Passo Oclini, past Hotel Schwarzhorn and the two ski lift stations along a forest path in a south-easterly direction. At the junction for the Pozzi Trail Mini variant, take a small trail that leads slightly downhill to the Sella dei Pozzi, at 1,980 meters above sea level. After a short detour around the Pozzi saddle, you will reach Baita Pozzi cabin, idyllically situated and offering an enchanting panoramic view of Val di Fiemme. To return, follow a narrow, uphill path towards Corno Nero, past Sella dei Pozzi. From the highest point of the route, continue along the ridge northward, skirting the reservoir, returning to Passo Oclini.
This loop-track leads over the Puflatsch and boasts incredible views down to the villages at the foot of the Schlern and the Eisack Valley.
This extremely long and demanding route over gravel and mountain tracks takes you through the whole of the southern lands of the Seiser Alm, with unique views over the velvety Alpine meadows and rocky mountain landscape to reward you for your efforts.
Besides spectacular views to the Schlern, the tour offers a lot of variety: gravel, mountain trails and footbridges.
From the starting point, the forest road leads slightly uphill at first, before starting to descend to the lowest point of the path, at 1,743 meters of altitude, at kilometer 1.4. From here, a forest road leads to the last longer ascent to Baita Pozzi cabin. Returning on the same way back makes for a varied 10 kilometers training trail. The route can also be combined with the Pozzi Trail up to Passo Oclini, for a total of 8.8 kilometers trail.
This easy route is ideal for beginners. It's the perfect place for you if you need to concentrate on technique and correct movement without losing your breath. Starting from the Nischlhof farm, you'll have delightful views of the village of Naturno from the Vogeltenn Promenade. The path then leads up to the Sonnenberger Panorama Path and goes on for 1.6km. to the Runsthof farm. Then simply take the same way back to where you started from.

Itthen heads downwards along an asphalted road to the Weintal and on past Stein and Falleggthen down again just before you reach the Rusthof farm to the Sonnenberger Panorama Path and the Vogeltenn Promenade back again to where you started from.
The Panorama Run between the villages of Seis am Schlern and Völs am Schlern is a long but variety-packed route which does its name justice: choc-a-block with breathtaking views.
The Prösels Run leads over medium-length stretches of gravel and asphalt in a steady series of ups and downs in the beautiful countryside leading towards Prösels.
Short and pleasant loop between Prad and the Prader fishing ponds.
The Seis Loop is a route that is not particularly long in the south-east side of Seis. The loop route comprises gravel, asphalt and wood and meadow trails.
Starting from the Nischlhof farm, the path leads along the Kirchgraben to the bridge near Engelsburg then turns left to the Schwalbennest Jausenstation.
