Besides spectacular views to the Schlern, the tour offers a lot of variety: gravel, mountain trails and footbridges.
The Schlern Trail begins and ends at the Alpenhotel Panorama. This short but exceptionally beautiful loop route leads you over the marshy meadows of the Palude di Ladini/Ladinser Moos. The short, steep stretch to the Sattler Schwaige Hut will be the greatest challenge for runners, but boasts an incomparably beautiful view of the nearby Rosszähne mountains. The route comprises both gravel and mountain trail stretches.
The road to the landscape conservation area Seiser Alm is closed to private traffic from 9.00am to 5.00pm. During this time you can get to the Seiser Alm by the Seiser Alm cable car from Seis or by bus from Kastelruth. You can descend from Compatsch at any time.
