Scenery:

Route Description
Start at the Ritten Arena in Klobenstein. The path takes you through fields, meadows, and light forests toward Rappersbichl, passing by small farmsteads. You then return alongside the Ritten narrow-gauge railway back to Klobenstein. The surface is a mix of compact soil and gravel, mostly runnable.

Every year in september the race takes 1000 athletes through the stunning scenery of the Sesto Dolomites to the finish at the Rifugio Antonio Locatelli S. Innerkofler just below the world famous Three Peaks. This is what makes it one of the most beautiful mountain runs in the world. With a distance of 17.5 km and an altitude differential of 1,350 m it demands a high level of fitness.
