    The Puez circuit is an absolute treat for those who love long trail runs in alpine terrain. We go right at the entrance to the Vallunga, taking the path no. 12 through the Chedul Valley to Creispëina Pass. From the beginning, it’s quite steep, partially in steps, until the valley begins to open and becomes gentler and flatter. From Crespëina Pass we continue over the Dolomite High Path no. 2 to the Rifugio Puez, from there we continue to follow the High Path no. 2 until it diverges in path no. 16, which brings us back to Vallunga.

    The Lobis Loop in Oberbozen (Soprabolzano) is a scenic and peaceful running route located on the Ritten Plateau. It’s around 5.5 km long and offers a beautiful mix of forest trails, meadows, and panoramic views.

    Route:
    The loop usually starts in the center of Oberbozen. It begins with a gentle downhill through shaded woods, then winds through open fields with breathtaking views of the Dolomites. The second half of the route includes a steady uphill section, which makes it physically demanding, especially toward the end.

    Difficulty:
    This is a moderately difficult route. Some uphill segments require endurance, but the trail remains well-maintained and runnable throughout. It’s suitable for experienced hobby runners, trail runners, and fit hikers.

    The Sommerfrisch Runde on the Ritten is a popular trail running and running route with wonderful views and moderate difficulty.

    Route length: approx. 9.6 km

    Altitude difference: approx. 150 m ascent and descent

    Altitude: between 1,256 m and 1,351 m above sea level

    Duration: approx. 1 ½ hours (trail runners with speed can complete it in 1:30 h)

    Route:
    The start is at Riggermoos (above Oberbozen). The route leads via Lichtenstern to the Freudpromenade, past Lamagehegen and the Kaserhof, then on via the Lobishof wine tavern and finally back on a marked forest path - around 80% natural paths, 20% asphalt.

    Terrain & difficulty:
    Easy to moderately difficult - undulating profile, technically manageable, no extremely tough sections. Perfect for fit amateur runners and trail enthusiasts.

    This is an easy to moderate route, suitable for hobby runners, Nordic walkers, and even active families. There are no steep climbs, but the elevation changes keep the run interesting and help with endurance.

    Scenery:
    Expect stunning views over the Adige Valley and the Dolomites. In spring and summer, wildflowers line the paths; in autumn, the forests glow with color. It’s a peaceful trail, perfect for clearing the mind while staying active.

    The Tann forest circuit is a natural running route in the middle of the forest between Oberbozen and Klobenstein. It starts at the Hotel Tann and leads along soft forest paths through quiet, shady terrain - perfect for a relaxed run or for relaxing in warm weather.

    Route length & course:
    The loop is around 9km long and runs almost exclusively on natural, soft forest paths. The start and finish are right by the Hotel Tann. The trail leads in a pleasant curve through mixed forest, past clearings and gentle hills.

    Difficulty:
    The forest circuit is moderately easy, with no significant inclines or technical sections. Ideal for beginners, children or a regenerative session.

    Landscape & appeal:
    The run is surrounded by forest throughout - cool, quiet and pleasantly scented with coniferous wood. The clearings with occasional views of the surrounding landscape are particularly beautiful. Pure forest atmosphere - a real recreational run.

    Start at the Ritten Arena in Klobenstein. The path takes you through fields, meadows, and light forests toward Rappersbichl, passing by small farmsteads. You then return alongside the Ritten narrow-gauge railway back to Klobenstein. The surface is a mix of compact soil and gravel, mostly runnable.

    This is a moderate route: undulating terrain, no steep climbs or technical sections. Requires endurance but is suitable for runners accustomed to 5,7 km distances.

    Expect varied landscapes: open meadows with Dolomite views, serene woods, and charming village touches. Early morning or early evening are ideal for a peaceful run and best light.

    The Drei Zinnen Alpine Run is the sporting event in the Sesto Dolomites and one of the mountain run classics. An adventurous weekend is guaranteed: Fun and entertainment for the whole family with international athletes.

    Every year in september the race takes 1000 athletes through the stunning scenery of the Sesto Dolomites to the finish at the Rifugio Antonio Locatelli S. Innerkofler just below the world famous Three Peaks. This is what makes it one of the most beautiful mountain runs in the world. With a distance of 17.5 km and an altitude differential of 1,350 m it demands a high level of fitness.
