The Grabbach path leads along the Grabbach stream.
Once in Velloi you get an excellent panoramic view of the entire Burgraviato.
Walk via Algund Dorf up to the Grabbach. Just before you reach the Blumenthalerhof, take the Ochsentodweg, which leads you up to the Unter-Ötzbauerhof (520 metres). At the road sign to Vellau turn left and walk along the ascending forest path across the Kronsbichl. Cross the Grabbach once more to reach the Birbamegg. After a few road bends you will come to the Oberlechner restaurant in Vellau and the Trinity chapel, where you can enjoy some great views.
Coming from Merano take the bus line 235. Stop in the old country road at the cemetery.
