The Tyrolean Advent in the Castle will be taking place in the historic ambience of Tyrol Castle. Tyrol Castle provides an atmospheric backdrop for a genuine South Tyrolean Christmas experience. Local exhibitors will present traditional handicrafts such as felting, pottery, turning, spinning, braiding, dyeing and the production of ceramics or jewelry in the castle's rooms. There will be a well-balanced program of events for visitors every day during Advent in the Castle: whilst crackling fires make for a cozy atmosphere, food stands will offer traditional dishes, baked goods and drinks. The Christmas market will also be attended by choirs and music groups, and there will also be all kinds of entertainment for children.

The church square sparkles in christmas lights, soft Christmas music and the smell of mulled wine and fresh pastries wafts through the air - on Friday, November 29th, it's finally time: the Algund Christmas Market opens its doors.

18 stalls and two food stands are eagerly waiting to sweeten your Advent season with regional crafts, hot drinks, and traditional dishes. The diverse offerings will be rounded off with musical performances, a show kitchen on Saturday evening, the large gingerbread house from the Tauber bakery, a children's program, and of course, the ever-popular ice skating rink.

Authentic and Traditional – The Ritten Christmas Market. The Ritten Christmas Market enchants visitors with beautifully decorated stalls, high-quality handicrafts, atmospheric music, and local specialties. A varied programme of events and children’s activities makes a visit to the Ritten Christmas Train Market (Rittner Christbahnl) an unforgettable experience, turning the Advent and Christmas season into something truly special. The Ritten Christmas Train Market at the Oberbozen railway station, in the historic Plattner Beekeeping Museum in Wolfsgruben, and in the village centre of Klobenstein is open during Advent and Christmas time on Fridays from 2 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Ritten Railway connects the three locations every 30 minutes. On all opening days: Nativity scene exhibition at the historic Plattner Farm in Wolfsgruben. On Saturdays and Sundays: Horse-drawn carriage rides from Klobenstein station to the village centre, introductory pony riding, and llama and pony walks in Oberbozen. The youngest artists are also part of the celebration: pupils from the local primary school lovingly decorate the stations along the Ritten Railway line with festive creations. “Hark, what comes from out the woods so near? From November 30, 2025, to January 6, 2026, Tramin will shine for the sixth time with Christmas splendor: the Tramin Advent Fountains invite visitors to a contemplative winter stroll through the festively decorated village. In total, 17 lovingly crafted fountains – from Rungg to Bethlehem and the village center, as well as in St. Jakob, the northern districts, and Söll – will be illuminated by local residents with festive decorations. A heartfelt thanks goes to them for their dedication and creativity. Especially by candlelight on the Advent Sundays, the historic fountains exude a special charm and invite visitors to pause, marvel, and linger.

The bells are ringing all over the year but never as lovely and comforting as during Christmas. Maybe it’s the special atmosphere or the wonderful memories that let us love the Christmastime, but also the Christmas bells spread the magic – it’s simply the happiest time of the year. Sterzing in the north of Southtyrol is surrounded by the beautiful sound of ringing bells in all its forms and sounds. The hollow and smooth sound of the church bells, or even the friendly bells of local cows and farm animals – every bell has his own importance. Christmas in Sterzing is all about joyful bells with their warming sounds.

The Merano Christmas Market provides a magical atmosphere, with daily
concerts, children’s entertainment, local customs and handicrafts. There are other Christmas markets in Merano and Environs too, offering textiles, jewelry, ceramics, glass and wooden objects. Closed on 25th December.

The Bressanone Christmas Market has been held for over 30 years. This is precisely why a visit to the Bruneck Christmas Market during the Advent season is an absolute must. The festive anticipation can be felt throughout the entire town. The Villandro Nativity Scene Friends are creating a Nativity Scene Route in the village from the village to the parish church for the entire Advent period until the Three Wise Men. Showcases have been made in which various nativity scenes are exhibited.

During the Advent season, handmade nativity scenes built inside apple crates are displayed in various locations throughout Vadena. They were created by local associations in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Vadena.

The weekly market takes place on the Lacus place in Laces. There you will find regional products, fruit and vegetables as well as clothing.

One of the most magical and eagerly awaited traditions of the Christmas season is the arrival of St. Nicholas. He is a wise and kind old man and brings light and warmth during this festive season. Today he awaits you, accompanied by his little angels, to give you a small gift. After the arrival of Saint Nicholas, there will also be the opportunity to enjoy a warming mulled wine or a hot tea.

Ceremonial arrival of Saint Nicholas on Cathedral Square, accompanied by the Brixen Christmas Angels, from Altenmarktgasse along the Großer and Kleiner Graben, through the Sonnentor and through the arcades. Saint Nicholas distributes his gifts on Cathedral Square.

There will be distributed small gifts to the children.

In the chilly December air, the village glows in celebration of St. Nicholas's arrival. Families gather while children eagerly await the festivities. St. Nicholas, clad in his splendid red cloak, arrives accompanied by angels carrying sacks of sweets. As he distributes gifts to the children, he creates an atmosphere of joy and enchantment. Our local farmers from La Val delight everyone with traditional Ladin specialities, transforming the evening into a warm and festive celebration of community.

The KFS local groups of the municipalities of Kiens and Ehrenburg warmly invite you to the Kiens Christmas Market! On December 6, 2025, starting at 5:00 PM at the Community Center in Kiens. Come by and enjoy a cozy evening filled with Christmas spirit, delicious food, and lots of surprises!

Join us for the Nikolaus celebration on the beautifully decorated square! Children listen to the story of Saint Nicholas, may meet him in person, and celebrate Advent with songs and little surprises. A magical experience for the whole family.

In Colfosco there is already a special Christmas atmosphere in the air from the beginning of December. The village is decorated with lights and Christmas ornaments. The church square with the majestic Sella Group as a backdrop is particularly impressive: a landscape straight out of a picture book. Every year, on the church square, memories and customs are renewed, such as the visit of Saint Nicholas, who at 5.30 p.m. visits the children on the church square bringing candies and sweets. St Nicholas procession with little Krampuses in Lana. The idea of taking away the fear of Krampus from the youngest children in our village at an early age bore great fruit last year. St. Nicholas will parade through the Gries with his little entourage on 6 December and distribute his gifts to the children at the Thalerhof, from the Capuchin church in Lana at 5.00 pm.

On 6 December 2025, starting at 7.30 p.m., the Burgeis Krampus and St. Nicholas parade will begin at Restaurant Gerda, passing through the village square and ending at the schoolyard. Afterwards, the Krampus party will take place in the schoolyard in Burgeis.

25 Years of Living Craftsmanship and Christmas Magic – the Maranatha Nativity Museum Celebrates its Anniversary. Traditional "Nigglas" performance at the Nativity Museum, in the Almdiele Restaurant, and at the Sportalm. Various Krampus groups, a visit from St. Nicholas, and a festive Christmas atmosphere with different music ensembles, brass bands, and choirs. Enjoy food and drinks in a cozy atmosphere

The parade starts at 5 pm at Hotel Jager Hans, leads to the village square, and is musically accompanied by the Jugendkapelle Passeier (youth band of Passeiertal Valley). Along the way, children can meet St. Nicholas in person and take a souvenir photo. Once at the village square, St. Nicholas and his angels hand out gift bags, and everyone sings together.
During the parade, food packages are collected for children in Moldova and Ukraine –
a wonderful opportunity to spread joy.
At the village square, the Catholic Family Association (KFS) of St. Martin/S. Martino provides warm drinks and sweet treats for a cozy gathering.

After the contemplative devotion, there is a joint walk with St. Nicholas to the village, where St. Nicholas bags are distributed and warm drinks await. Afterwards, the Krampus parade can be admired.
