Twice a week, Sonja from the Sulfner riding stable harnesses her good-natured blondes and offers an animal and romantic experience for horse lovers of all ages. Flea market - used items from the household, cellar and attic fill the flea market stall and make you want to rummage and haggle in Oberlana, Raiffeisenhaus Lana car park, 6.00-19.00 (Registration for stand operators under mobile +39 335 612 708 9). The profits from the stall rents go to needy families in Lana and the surrounding area.

Augusto Zunin (Venezia) student Christine Kurzmann and her husband Jürgen will be presenting the latest jewellery creations with fascinating and sometimes rare opals and other precious stones as part of an appealing exhibition. For over 30 years, the passionately committed team has been combining the goldsmith's craft with artistic imagination. The result is perfectly shaped, vibrant, unique pieces full of harmony and visual lightness. With nature as a model, the flowing nature of the setting, which is carried out with an open flame, caresses the stone. At Kurzmann & Kurzmann, there are no contrived shapes, but lively, organic-looking designs with a strong expression of naturalness that emphasises this naturalness and gives the pieces their unique and unmistakable character. In an interview, Christine Kurzmann said: ‘With our jewellery treasures, we want to express a certain attitude to life that everyone would like to have: light, carefree, harmonious, multi-faceted. The enthusiasm we feel when creating our jewellery is perhaps the secret of the joy of life they are said to radiate.’ Jürgen Kurzmann has already attracted attention in specialist circles with his artefacts such as ‘Laurin’ and ‘The Key to Happiness’. His latest creation, a handbag made from a cocoa nut, horn and lapis lazuli, is currently causing a furore and can also be seen at the exhibition. A collection of the traditional costume "Rittner Tracht" from the 18th century to the present day. On Wednesdays and Fridays from 4–6 p.m. in the historic Commandery Lengmoos. Last entry: 5.30 p.m., Admission: € 4, free with RittenCard. The traditional costume has a long tradition on the Ritten/Renon, which is still cultivated by associations and organisations today. Under expert guidance, we collect edible treasures along the way and learn how to recognize them. During the hike we taste the collected herbs.

Discover the natural material clay with Katja Battisti. In the Peterbühl area of Völs—an archaeological site where finds from various eras, including the late Bronze Age and early Middle Ages, have been uncovered—you will explore different techniques and experiment with natural pigments from the local area to decorate your clay creations. Each participant will have the chance to craft a flower pot or decorative vase to take home. Additional Info: If desired, Katja can fire your items for you. This process will take about a week. EXPERT: Katja Battisti, originally trained as a florist, later worked in painting and design therapy. During the farm tour at Lenkhof, you will learn all sorts of interesting facts about the individual production steps involved in making cheese and other dairy products as well as the history of the farm itself. Young farmer Georg will guide you through the barn, the processing and maturing rooms and tell you about how his animals are kept. At the end, you can of course taste the farm's own products. What is the difference between wild and farmed bees, how is a bee colony made up and how is honey actually produced? Beekeeper Walter answers all these questions and gives the participants further interesting information about the industrious helpers of our nature. With the appropriate protective equipment, you can marvel at the inner workings of a beehive and experience at first hand how honey is made, harvested and processed. At the end, you can taste the honey products made on the premises. The guided tour will be in German and Italian.

Fresh mountain air, plenty of free range and GMO-free feeding ensure that the pigs at the Obertimpflerhof farm in Vöran feel completely at ease. ‘That's the secret to the outstanding quality of our meat,’ says farmer Franz with conviction. United by their joint project to dress the zither in a new guise, musician Reinhilde Gamper and composer and multi-instrumentalist Simon Gamper have created a new concert programme. Together with sound engineer Claus Stecher and visual concept creator Julian Geier, they interweave sound and image to create an impressive overall experience in St Margareth's Chapel. In the 20-minute title piece ZEIT, the ensemble explores the concept of time as the basis of individual consciousness and the finite nature of time - or rather the possibility of infinity if one considers the theory that time does not physically exist.

Cyanotype is an ancient method of photographic printing characterised by the typical Prussian Blue colour (hence the name derived from the ancient Greek kyanos, “blue”). It was discovered in England in 1842 and was first used photographically by Anna Atkins, a botanist and photographer, who published a book of cyanotypes of algae, considered the first book with photographic images in history.
