This exciting and eventful event at the Runster Mill, on the Sonnenberg mountain Naturns, fascinates young and old! Accompanied by a guide, you hike slightly uphill to the Runster mill in approx. 30 minutes. Exciting stories and legends about Naturns are told along the way. Franz Fliri and Walter Müller from the Naturns/Plaus local history association will be waiting for you at the mill. Franz will tell you about the Runster Mill and its history. If you like, you can also take some of the freshly ground flour home with you and bake your own bread rolls. Suitable for families with children aged 7 and over, in case of rain the event will be canceled. The tour is only in german language!

Strolling through the flea market? Browse for vintage treasures, retro finds and unique artefacts. The flea market takes place from 07.30 am. to 06:30 pm. on the Piazza Centrale in Monguelfo.

Explore the area in a very special way: on a carriage ride with Haflinger horses. Twice a week, Sonja from the Sulfner riding stable harnesses her good-natured blondes and offers an animal and romantic experience for horse lovers of all ages. Walking time from the mountain station Schwarzseespitze at the Rittner Horn approx. 1.5 hours. Language: German & Italian. You take the cable car Rittner Horn to the Schwarzseespitze. Fresh mountain air and a wonderful panorama await you there. The hike leads over the blooming alpine meadows to the Barbianer Alm. There is the rustic mountain pine oil distillery, where the owner Meinrad Rabensteiner gives an insight into the traditional production of mountain pine and pine oil. The organic product is produced in harmony with nature, fresh needles and twig tips of the mountain pine are collected in summer and processed in a gentle way. Not only in the Sarentino Valley, the valley of the mountain pines, does the mountain pine grow, but also on the acidic silicate soils of the Villandro Alp. The power of this mountain plant is immense. The beneficial and fragrant essential oil is perfect for relaxing baths, for infusions and compresses, or as an ingredient in scrubs. In an aroma lamp, the scent helps to improve the room atmosphere. Every Monday, a distillation demonstration takes place. All interested visitors can gain insight into how the mountain pine is processed into essential oil.

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of sacred art with Doris Kirchler during a guided tour of the small Parish Museum. In a carefully curated exhibition, you will find around 50 impressive works, including statues and paintings, reflecting 700 years of regional history. These artworks invite you to explore not only their religious significance but also the socio-political and artistic changes over the centuries.

The Parish Museum is located in the historic Gothic granary, a charming building from 1559, situated in the northeast corner of the parish garden. Since 1984, this lovingly restored granary has served as the Parish Museum, providing a unique setting for the exhibition.

How is a bee colony organised? How is honey made? Why are these industrious, seemingly never-tiring insects so important to us? Our beekeeper will accompany you to the apiary (20-minute walk). Experience the Steinegg music brass band in their traditional costumes on warm summer evenings at the Steinegg festival site. The brass band plays marches, traditional melodies and contemporary compositions. So there is certainly something for everyone.

--Mulins y rojules sa Bula-- In the past, the mountain hamlet Bulla was Val Gardena’s granary due to its strategic location. Between three and seven farms built and managed the municipal mills in the gorge of Bulla.
