The Lipper Sawmill, an impressive example of traditional woodworking from the 18th century, can be experienced up close during a guided tour with live demonstration. Visitors are immersed in the history of alpine craftsmanship and learn fascinating details about the technology, working methods, and historical significance of the sawmill for the region.

Guided hike with Lorenz Fischnaller. Slow Food Travel - The pleasure of slow hiking.
An eventful hike together to St Sepulchre's Hill with its chapel, trenches and rock bunker. We enjoy the beautiful view over the middle Eisack valley. We also learn interesting facts about the history, culture and landscape. We walk through the village to the wine-growing lookout point of the Eisacktal valley winery below, where selected wines are tasted in the middle of the vineyards.
At the Torgglerhof farm, hiking guide Lorenz Fischnaller tells us about the past and present work on the small farm over a Slow Food aperitif. Farmer's wife Margareth serves up delicacies from the home garden and local farms to accompany the tasting of the mineral crystal wine. We then walk back to the village and visit the special exhibition ‘Noble Stones - Noble Tones’ in the museum.
At the Huaberhof farm next door, we finish with a tasting of biodynamic wine.

Explore the area in a very special way: on a carriage ride with Haflinger horses. Twice a week, Sonja from the Sulfner riding stable harnesses her good-natured blondes and offers an animal and romantic experience for horse lovers of all ages.

Experience the Steinegg music brass band in their traditional costumes on warm summer evenings at the Steinegg festival site.
The brass band plays marches, traditional melodies and contemporary compositions. So there is certainly something for everyone.
A visit to the Ganoihof with Georg Profanter (social pedagogue, organic farmer) and Andreas Hudler (landscape ecologist) under involvement of biodiversity in interaction with management on the farm; insights into the current management of organic suckler cow breeding and an aperitif together on the farm.

In the past, the mountain hamlet Bulla was Val Gardena’s granary due to its strategic location. Between three and seven farms built and managed the municipal mills in the gorge of Bulla. Guided tours of partially preserved buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries are used to explain how grain cultivation and milling worked in the past.

Experience the fascinating world of the mill tradition and discover the craft of bread baking at the Pichlerhof in Antholz Obertal. Our event begins with an expert guided tour of the historic mill, during which you will learn about the milling process and how flour is made from grain. Afterwards you can look over the baker's shoulder: from kneading the dough to taking the fragrant bread out of the oven. Combine culture, history and culinary craftsmanship in an unforgettable experience.
A collection of the traditional costume "Rittner Tracht" from the 18th century to the present day.
On Wednesdays and Fridays from 4–6 p.m. in the historic Commandery Lengmoos. Last entry: 5.30 p.m., Admission: € 4, free with RittenCard.
The traditional costume has a long tradition on the Ritten/Renon, which is still cultivated by associations and organisations today.

What is the difference between wild and farmed bees, how is a bee colony made up and how is honey actually produced? Beekeeper Walter answers all these questions and gives the participants further interesting information about the industrious helpers of our nature. With the appropriate protective equipment, you can marvel at the inner workings of a beehive and experience at first hand how honey is made, harvested and processed. At the end, you can taste the honey products made on the premises.
The guided tour will be in German and Italian.

Would you like to learn something about a very old craft? The wood turner Fritz Unterkalmsteiner present and show you all about this craft.
Duration: ca 20 minutes
During the farm tour at Lenkhof, you will learn all sorts of interesting facts about the individual production steps involved in making cheese and other dairy products as well as the history of the farm itself.
Young farmer Georg will guide you through the barn, the processing and maturing rooms and tell you about how his animals are kept.
At the end, you can of course taste the farm's own products.

The train experts Martin Broy & Klaus Demar tell interesting facts about the history of the Rittner Bahn and guide you through the remise of Klobenstein & Oberbozen, afterwards special ride with historical train.

"The machinist turns the crank, the wagon spins and purrs, a little jerk, then it starts moving..." This is a quote from 1907 when the people from Bozen took the railway Renon (Rittner Bahn) to their summer retreat on the high plateau. Even today, after 113 years, our railway still runs between Maria Himmelfahrt, Oberbozen and Klobenstein as the only narrow-gauge railway in South Tyrol.

There are only a few experts left who know the traditional method of making butter, and Christian Leitgeb is one of them. He will take you to his farm, the Eggerhöfe, to show you how butter is made. You will learn more about this regional and sustainable productand a fter a demonstration, sample the homemade butter on some freshly baked bread.

From growing fodder to rearing calves, to livestock farming with dairy products and processing them into tasty yogurt, butter and cheese. Even the energy is generated directly on the farm. Visitors can take a tour of the new barn and the new cheese dairy to learn about and follow the process from milk to cheese. Under expert guidance, they have the opportunity to make their own soft cheese with various spices to suit their individual taste and take it home with them. The exciting experience ends with a tasting of the farm products.
