JOINING PATTERNS: Stitch and leave a mark! Workshop Museion presents JOINING PATTERNS: Stitch and leave a mark!, an innovative project realized in collaboration with Patternhouse.org, and curated by Brita Köhler and Martina Drechsel. The initiative, part of the collateral program of the exhibition AMONG THE INVISIBLE JOINS Works from the Enea Righi Collection, will run from Nov. 14 to Dec. 12, 2024 at Atelierhaus Museion. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the design project methodology developed by Patternhouse.org, which supports the rehabilitation process of people with mental health issues by using embroidery as a creative tool. During the event, the participants will help make handcrafted pillows, created in part by and for users of the Casa Basaglia psychiatric rehabilitation center in Merano. This year, the Sterntaler Christmas Market in Lana becomes even more inviting. The enchanting backdrop of the historic Capuchin Garden contributes to the cozy atmosphere, hosting nearly 20 Christmas stalls during the Advent weekends – from November 29 to December 24, 2024. Small fir trees adorned with shiny red ornaments and the warm glow of luminous spheres surround the lovingly decorated stalls offering genuine South Tyrolean handicrafts. An engaging program for the whole family – including ponies and sheep, a glitter workshop, and a hands-on circus, all set to the sounds of festive live music – completes the experience and promises unforgettable moments of enjoyment. Please note that on December 5 and December 31, 2024, only the culinary stalls will be open.

The church square sparkles in christmas lights, soft Christmas music and the smell of mulled wine and fresh pastries wafts through the air - on Friday, November 29th, it's finally time: the Algund Christmas Market opens its doors. 15 stalls and two food stands are eagerly waiting to sweeten your Advent season with regional crafts, hot drinks, and traditional dishes. The Villandro Nativity Scene Friends are creating a Nativity Scene Route in the village from the village to the parish church for the entire Advent period until the Three Wise Men. Showcases have been made in which various nativity scenes are exhibited. On Saturday, 30.11.2024 is the opening of the crib street with inauguration and a small drink in front of the school building. Every Saturday evening and every Sunday all day, the bar in the Kultursaal is served by various clubs.

In the Craftsmen's Stube you can marvel at the methods of old craftsmanship. Unique pieces are created here, from the hands of the master craftsmen and women and right before our eyes. Warm lights and colours illuminate the Christmas time in the heart of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This year La Val organises a special Advent calendar, on the facades of the houses, revealing the magic of Christmas. One by one, from 1st to 24th December at 5 p.m. the windows will be symbolically opened, illuminating a new window every evening. All the illuminated windows can be admired until 6th January. Visit the village of La Val and enjoy the lights that connect our houses in an exciting Advent calendar. The rural Christmas Market in Partschins is a very unique and picturesque one, taking place in the authentic ambience of the historic church square. In rustic stands you can find precious regional products as well as gastronomic specialties.
