In addition to excursions with electric vehicles to the most beautiful places in South Tyrol, there will be a special supporting programme with an e-test and safety day in Bolzano, a tour of an e-plant, high-class enjoyment evenings and much more.

Did you know that the remote mountain pastures of South Tyrol are not only places of nature, but also have a rich history to tell? Join us on this Alpine pasture hike that takes you back in time. Your path will first lead you to the Gothic log cabin of the old St. Anna Pfistradalm Alp, one of the oldest wooden buildings in South Tyrol. It once belonged to the Counts Fuchs von Fuchsberg, who left their mark here. However, when they went bankrupt in the 18th century, the chalet was auctioned off and later passed to the municipality of Latsch. A small showroom tells you about the hard but fulfilling life on the mountain pasture and about living in the Middle Ages. After exploring the history, you can enjoy a rustic lunch with traditional specialities in the mountain hut. Strengthened, we make our way back. First mentioned in documents in the late 13th century as ‘ze Ursinie’ and in 1350 as ‘von der Sini’, Sinigo/Sinich only grew to its current size in the course of the fascist settlement policy of the 1920s. Fresh mountain air and a wonderful panorama await you there. The hike leads over the blooming alpine meadows to the Barbianer Alm. There is the rustic mountain pine oil distillery, where the owner Meinrad Rabensteiner gives an insight into the traditional production of mountain pine and pine oil. The organic product is produced in harmony with nature, fresh needles and twig tips of the mountain pine are collected in summer and processed in a gentle way. The Church of St Johann in Taufers was built around 1220. The Romanesque church building has the shape of a Greek cross. The fully painted groined vault shows Byzantine influences, and the frescoes from the late Romanesque period are also worth seeing. The church of St Veit stands on the Tartscher Bühel hill. The Romanesque church from the 11th century houses frescoes inside, some of which are badly damaged. The entire west wall is filled with a cycle of paintings (fragments) dating from the 16th century.
