St Nicholas procession with little Krampuses in Lana. The idea of taking away the fear of Krampus from the youngest children in our village at an early age bore great fruit last year. St. Nicholas will parade through the Gries with his little entourage on 6 December and distribute his gifts to the children at the Thalerhof, from the Capuchin church in Lana at 5.00 pm.

The photography exhibition Every Child is LIFE celebrates the miracle of birth and the universal strength of life. Dutch photographer Ilvy Njiokiktjien captured newborns in Peru, Mali, Mongolia and Bangladesh between 2018 and 2019, portraying with great sensitivity the most fragile yet powerful moment of existence. A year later, Armenian photographer Anush Babajanyan returned to photograph the same children, creating a second chapter that tells a story of growth, resilience and the vital importance of continuous access to healthcare. The visit to the photo exhibition is included in the entrance ticket of the Hofburg.

The authentic wine experience for all senses takes place in the newly created wing of the Cantina Kurtatsch. During the visit, you will gain fascinating insights into the importance of terroir, the variety of Kurtatsch’s vineyard sites, and its unique wines. The educational TERROIR Experience will lead you into the new dolomite barrique cellar with its natural rock wall and conclude with a tasting of 5 wines from our TERROIR line. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 18 people. Please note that dogs are welcome in our wine shop and on the terrace, but for hygiene reasons they cannot take part in the guided tours. Südtirols Süden Card: If you are in possession of the “Südtirols Süden Card”, please indicate this in the appropriate field when booking. The discount will then be applied automatically. Publishing houses and workshops offer a glimpse into the former wooden toy industry – and historic inns and hotels trace the valley’s transformation from a dream destination for alpinists to a popular year-round tourist hotspot.

A walk through the biodynamically cultivated vineyards reveals the harmony between nature and winemaking – accompanied by our eleven Kune-Kune pigs, the small helpers who care for the vines. The path then leads to the late Baroque Baron Longo Palace, where architecture and wine meet in perfect balance.
