What is the difference between wild bees and breeding bees, how is a bee colony composed and how is honey actually produced? Beekeeper Walter answers all these questions and gives the participants further interesting information about the industrious helpers of our nature. With the appropriate protective equipment, you can marvel at the inner workings of a beehive and experience first-hand how honey is created, harvested and processed. At the end of the tour, you can make your own beeswax cloth to take home as a souvenir. The tour finishes with tasting of the honey products. The event will be in German and Italian.

At the prehistoric power place St. Hippolyt in Naraun, customs of the "Witches' Night" are celebrated to celebrate the returning forces of nature. After a short walk together, meeting at 8 pm at the St. Hippolyt car park up to the hilltop, a witch's fire, incense and atmospheric melodies will transport you into the magic of the mystical Walpurgis Night. For families with children, an adventure hike to the hill of St. Hippolytus is already offered with a start at 6.00 pm. Once at the top, they will be playfully introduced to ancient customs.

The hike takes you along the Riffianer Waalweg with a magnificent view to Kuens/Caines to the Hilber Mühle, the largest mill in the Passeiertal Valley. Here, Adolf provides interesting information and stories about the mill. The tour then continues to the Pillinghof farm in Kuens, where you can taste home-baked bread and various herb butters and gain an insight into how these products are made. This is processed into delicious bacon and sausage products using traditional methods on the farm. He describes his philosophy, the self-sufficient concept of the farm and the clever combination of his mainstays: these range from farm vacations and the production of green energy to South Tyrolean mountain meadow hay. Learn all about organic mountain meadow hay, from harvesting to its versatile use as cushions, hay beds, wallpaper, lampshades, flooring, liqueur and even gin. After the farm tour, you can make your own hay cushion as a “hay light” and taste the farm's own products. Join beekeeper Michael every Wednesday at 4:00 PM for an unforgettable journey into the fascinating world of bees and beekeeping. Open a beehive with him, take a selfie with the queen bee and sample fresh honey straight from the comb—if you're feeling brave! This is followed by a tasting of over 10 different specialties made from and with honey. Some of his award-winning products are not only healthy, they are real palate ticklers. Bee tours are available from early May to late September every Wednesday, or by request outside of these dates. A collection of the traditional costume "Rittner Tracht" from the 18th century to the present day. On Wednesdays and Fridays from 4–6 p.m. in the historic Commandery Lengmoos. Last entry: 5.30 p.m., Admission: € 4, free with RittenCard. The traditional costume has a long tradition on the Ritten/Renon, which is still cultivated by associations and organisations today. It is very important for us to preserve this living cultural asset for the future and make it accessible to a broad public.

On Wednesdays and Fridays from 4-6 p.m., the historic Kommende Lengmoos opens its doors for visits (without a guided tour). last entry: 5.30 p.m. Cost: € 4, free with RittenCard. The original building of the Commandery Lengmoos dates back to the early 13th century. At the time, all across the region, pilgrim hospices were built to cater to pilgrims on their journey to Rome and provide for the poor. And so, a hospice was erected at the Saint Ulrich Pass in Lengmoos
