The counter-clockwise Sellaronda MTB Tour has a total altitude difference of approx. 1,020 m to ride uphill and descents that vary from single trails to gravel roads. It is therefore suitable for uphill cycling with or without pedal assistance/e-bike. The time required varies according to MTB riding ability: from a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 9 hours, including lunch break.
The La Buja variant diverges from the Seiser Alm hut tour and leads through thick forest land, which offers welcome shade despite the challenges of the 5.9 km trail.

This mountain-bike or e-bike tour treats bikers to a view of all of the Kings and Queens of the Dolomite mountains, including the Marmolada – Queen of the Dolomites, the majestic Langkofel and Plattkofel, King Laurin and his Rosengarten massif, and the Schlern in all of its legendary might. The route leads from the Eggental Valley to the Fassa Valley and on to the Gröden Valley, followed by a stretch through the Dolomites region Seiser Alm and back to the set-off point. Due to the length of almost 100 km, we recommend riding the tour on an e-bike. If you prefer to ride without an electric motor, you should consider spreading the tour over two days. If you want to enjoy great views and inform yourself about Europe’s highest granaries, then this is the right tour for you. Start at the Trattla sports and leisure center with the culturamartell visitor center and the South Tyrolean Strawberry World. During this tour, you pass different climate zones at Val Martello‘ Sun Mountain: from the strawberry fields along Martello’s valley path (no. 36) through the village of Martello and up to Europe’s highest mountain farms Premstl, Niederhof or Stallwies built on steep, irrigated slopes. Beautiful mountain farms with wooden shingle roofs accompany you on your way to Stallwies while crossing the partially extremely steep meadows of Martello’s Selva on the road. Just after Premstl at Niederhof, you can enjoy the impressive view of the Cevedale glacier and Martello’s high mountain world. After another three kilometers you reach the Stallwies inn where you turn right at the mill and continue on a beautiful forest road through Swiss pine forests until you reach the Wiesboden viewpoint and picnic area. If you want, you can explore the wooden irrigation channel path or the Mountain Farmer Trail by taking the path up or down.

Via paths through the Latemar forest, you reach the Karerpass/Passo Costalunga.

The route leads from the Eggental Valley to the Fassa Valley and on to the Gröden Valley, followed by a stretch through the Dolomites Region Seiser Alm and back to the set-off point. A little treat in this version of the tour: a great loop via the Langental valley, the Regensburger hut and the legendary St. Jakob church for even more Dolomite flair and enjoyment. Given its length of 105 km, we recommend taking this tour in a few stages. If you opt to use an e-bike, it is possible to cycle the full length in one day, stopping off at one of the countless mountain huts to recharge your bike along the way. You can choose to begin the tour from any one of the valleys it covers.

On the other side of the Etsch / Adige River, there's an official tour on a steep grade just waiting for cyclists with strong calves and stamina. This ramp on the way to Truden / Trodena features segments with an uphill inclination of up to 17% – a great opportunity for practiced cyclists to show their stuff! But this short and exciting tour offers not only athletic challenges, but also beautiful landscapes and cultural sightseeing. This tour begins gently. Before your legs have to really exert themselves, you'll still have the chance to just glide along the route. From the market square in Kaltern / Caldaro, this excursion first takes you along the bicycle route through the Lavason Valley to Lake Caldaro, along its eastern shores and into the Etsch / Adige Valley. You will now proceed for a few kilometers over level ground, through fruit orchards and over the Etsch to Neumarkt / Egna where the ascent on the other side of the valley begins. If you like and have the time, you might want to visit the historical center of Neumarkt and maybe enjoy a hearty refreshment before embarking on this steep tour. Honestly, it's practically a duty to visit the old part of town with its medieval arcades. Its center has been lovingly restored and is among the most-beautiful in all of South Tyrol. Neumarkt thus represents the stylish first act of this exciting and charming tour. The road now leads along the sun-drenched slopes of the Etsch / Adige Valley up through the villages of Pinzon / Pinzano and Montan / Montagna whose cobblestone lanes and handsome residences with their rich histories are sure to delight you. The narrow passage through the little hamlet of Glen marks the end of this cultural journey and the beginning of the athletically challenging segment. Once you've passed by the last houses of the hamlet, the road now tilts up sharply. With a grade of up to 17%, you'll have to shift into the appropriate gear to manage it. But then you'll come to Truden where you can either stop for refreshments or continue on your merry way. The downhill road to Kaltenbrunn / Fontanefredde, along the Staatsstrasse coming from the Fleims / Fiemme Valley, will afford you an unobscured view of the Etsch / Adige Valley. After passing through the community of Auer / Ora – Neumarkt's neighboring village – you'll have crossed the river. Between the Etsch River and Lake Caldaro, you will encounter the Kreither Saddle with its 150 meters of altitude differential and grade of about 13% will test your stamina – a fitting segment of this overall challenging tour. But be thrifty with your physical resources, because you still have to manage the ascent to the market square of Kaltern; it isn't all that steep, but still adds another 200 meters or so of altitude differential.
The Rock Line was created from the lower part of the Sky Line in 2024. Sky Line and Rock Line can still be ridden in one go. Just like the Ski Line, the Rock Line is steep and technically demanding and requires very good control, excellent jumping technique and safe driving skills. It starts at the middle station of the Plose gondola lift and ends just before the valley station.
Length: 2.43 km | Altitude difference: 473 m | Average inclination: 19% | Difficulty: black
This bike tour follows the trackbed of the former Fleimstalbahn railway, which was built during the First World War, serving primarily to transport goods until 1936. It began in Ora/Auer and ran to the town of Predazzo. The stretch from Ora to San Lugano is still in good condition and is easy to ride. The bike tour leads through historic villages, wonderful vineyards - right through the Pinot Noir heart of Pinzon/Pinzano and through Auer/Ora, the home of the Lagrein - the wonderful mountain landscape of the Trudner Horn/Monte Corno Nature Park and is particularly rewarding because of the unique view of the South Tyrolean lowlands.
A timeless gem of a tour: fully enjoy the mountain scenery by saving energy using one of the many lift facilities.
