A country becomes a stage – Jazz a part of the landscape. This year at the Roner distillery with guided tour and tasting. Start at 11 am. At the South Tyrol Jazz Festival Alto Adige, soloists and ensembles not only venture to dizzying musical “heights”, but even climb “real” mountains with their instruments in tow, playing in a breathtaking alpine landscape. The festival itself often treads completely new paths: self-confidently and sometimes approaching over rugged crevices, it tries to penetrate new soundscapes. Mainstream and concert halls are threatened with extinction at the South Tyrol Jazz Festival Alto Adige. Through contrasts and fusions of unusual concert venues and new sound worlds, organisers and artists seek the unknown, the unheard, the unexpected. The Villanders Music Band was first officially mentioned in 1803, making it one of the oldest in South Tyrol. Today, the Villanders Music Band has approximately 45 active members and 8 honorary members. It is currently led by the Villanders conductor Hannes Pupp. In addition to traditional events such as the St. Cecilia Concert, the Easter Concert, and numerous church celebrations, the annual fundraising performances on New Year’s Eve, in May, and on St. Martin’s Day are special highlights for the musicians and the Villanders community. Moreover, the traditional costumes worn by the musicians, the "Marketenderinnen", and the flag bearer are among the most traditional in the region.

CastelCello is one of the rare festivals worldwide dedicated exclusively to the cello and its music. Once a year outstanding international artists of this instrument perform programs that range from the classic to jazz and improvisation in castle Brunnenburg’s romantic courtyard.

In Niederolang, the traditional "Pfarrlinga Kirschta" will be celebrated on July 5th and 6th – a festival full of tradition, music, dance, and conviviality. The festivities begin on the evening of July 5th with a lively atmosphere, delicious food, and captivating music. On the morning of July 6th, a solemn procession passes through the village, followed in the afternoon by a festive parade of participating brass bands, creating a vibrant and melodic highlight. A must-see event for everyone who wants to experience the rich traditions of Niederolang up close.

Experience painting, artworks, sculptures, and photographs up close, watch artists at work, and enjoy musical entertainment. The cultural mile starts at the gate of Summersberg Castle and passes by many milestones. 30 artists are inviting art and culture enthusiasts for the sixth time to enjoy the artistic flair of the picturesque village of Gufidaun. In case of rain, the event will not take place.

On Sunday, 06.07.2025 the traditional heritage festival of Nova Ponente takes place. Food, drink and entertainment are well provided. Begin: 10:00 am | End: 12:00 pm
