The Town Hall Square in Corvara transforms into the vibrant heart of the New Year's Eve celebrations! This year DJ Richard Markz will set the perfect tone for the festivities with an electrifying performance. To add to the magic, some of the Christmas market stalls in the square will remain open, offering delightful treats and warm drinks—because nothing pairs better with the festive atmosphere than a steaming cup of mulled wine. The gastronomie Stands are Open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. In the Capuchin church, bathed in the cosy glow of countless lit candles, pianist Enzo Weber will give a unique piano concert from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm. At midnight, fireworks will light up the sky above Lana.

A Year-End Filled with Music and Magic To say farewell to 2025 in a truly special way, music enthusiasts are invited to immerse themselves in a unique soundscape: the traditional classical piano concert held in the enchanting setting of the Capuchin Church in Lana. From 5:30 to 6:30 PM, pianist Enzo Weber will lead the audience on an emotional musical journey, surrounded by the warmth and glow of hundreds of flickering candles. A serene and magical atmosphere that promises to make the evening truly unforgettable.

On December 31, 2025 and February 16, 2026, Gassl will turn into a stunning stage for a spectacular ski show that blends tradition and modernity. Together with the ski schools and the snowcats, we will take the audience on a fascinating journey through the history of skiing and of Kronplatz – from the first turns of the past to dynamic performances on snow and ice. An evening full of emotion, movement, and light.

Brixen sets new standards for a conscious and emotional start to the new year. Instead of fireworks, guests can expect music, visual highlights and a professionally staged show programme. The cathedral square becomes the stage for a celebration that connects generations: with a family-friendly warm-up, a special midnight moment and a rousing live show. The countdown to the New Year begins at 9 p.m.: DJ ENA provides the perfect soundtrack, while culinary delicacies from the Christmas market stalls ensure enjoyment until the early hours of the morning. The hour of birth of the alphorn is and will probably remain unknown. When we talk about an "alphorn" today, we mean a long, straight wooden horn bent at the bottom. For centuries, horn instruments of different materials and shapes have been made and played on all continents.

As early as the 16th century, the alphorn served not only as a call and signal horn, but also as a toy for alpine shepherds and has become firmly stablished in the Alpine region in recent decades, with its own style of playing and dialect.
