The South Tyrolean Salon Orchestra is hosting a festive Christmas concert to round off the holiday season. Visitors can look forward to a varied programme of classical and Christmas melodies.

A buffet will be served during the interval and is included in the ticket price.

The band Saxessful will provide musical accompaniment and a lively atmosphere at the Christmas market from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The Kreativ Ensemble was founded in 1983 and is composed of musicians from leading Italian orchestras (Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, Orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano, Orchestra Haydn di Bolzano e Trento). It performs as a string quartet, its basic formation, as well as in quintets and octets. It collaborates with prestigious soloists, performing the most beautiful pieces of the chamber music repertoire from the 18th century to the present day. It is regularly invited to the most important Italian festivals: Pesaro Festival, Suoni delle Dolomiti, Musicastello, Bolzano Estate, Roma Giubileo 2000, Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano, and the international festivals of Bergamo and Brescia. The Kreativ Ensemble has performed in Italy, Europe and America.

Take part in the traditional torchlight descent together with the ski instructors of the San Cassiano Ski School. It will be a unique opportunity to experience the thrill of skiing down the snow with torches, creating an enchanting atmosphere. The Piz Sorega cable car will be open until 5 p.m. and to make this evening even more special, we are waiting for you with a warm welcome at the Piz Sorega refuge with a hot soup to help warm you up before the exciting descent. Concert as part of the Badiamusica Festival with the Quadriga Consort. Quadriga Consort is one of Austria’s most successful ensembles, internationally renowned for its SONY best-selling albums On a Cold Winter’s Day, Crime and Mystery, and Winter’s Delights. When darkness falls over the British Isles, stories that get under your skin have been awakening for centuries: songs of unrequited love, ballads of mysterious figures, eerie murder ballads and lamentations about loss and transience. The Austrian ensemble Quadriga Consort brings these old melodies back to life – with harpsichord, viols, recorders, percussion and vocals. Many of the songs tell of cold nights, stormy winters and survival in a harsh, barren landscape. Well-known folk ballads meet forgotten treasures from Ireland, Scotland and England. In new arrangements by Nikolaus Newerkla, they unfold with a special intensity: archaic, moving, sometimes ghostly – and yet timelessly touching. ‘Darkness Falling’ is a concert evening full of contrasts – between tenderness and power, between Celtic mysticism and baroque elegance. Especially in the dark and wintry season, these chilling songs and dark tales unfold their full power and immediately captivate the audience. Entrance is free.

Liertr 4-Xong enchant the atmosphere. The tour ends with a contemplative walk back, leaving the magic of this special night with you for a long time to come.

Swan Lake, one of the immortal masterpieces of classical ballet, tells the story of the young Prince Siegfried and Odette, a maiden transformed into a swan by the evil sorcerer Rothbart. With its iconic music by Pëtr Il'ič Čajkovskij, the ballet depicts the drama and beauty of eternal love. In the first act, during a court celebration, Prince Siegfried is forced to choose a bride but is captivated by a mysterious flock of swans. In the second act, at the lake, he meets Odette and learns about the curse that has transformed her into a swan. In the third act, at a ball at the castle, Siegfried, deceived by Rothbart, breaks his promise to Odette. Finally, in the fourth act, the prince desperately tries to redeem his mistake, but the spell can only be broken through his sacrifice. The Ballet Company of the National Opera House of Iași, one of the most renowned classical dance companies in Europe, will perform this historic masterpiece. The event lasts about 2 hours, with a 15-minute intermission. On New Year’s Eve, Victory Square in Bolzano will transform into a large open-air stage filled with light, music, and celebration. Starting at 9:00 PM, guests will be welcomed into a festive and vibrant atmosphere marking the official beginning of the evening. The night opens with a live concert by the Tribue Band, guiding the audience on a musical journey through the greatest hits from the 1960s to today. An energetic and engaging start designed to warm up the square and set the tone for a night full of excitement.

Around 10:30 PM, the celebration continues with a captivating street-performance show: acrobats, jugglers, stilt walkers, and various performers will entertain the crowd with a dynamic and playful spectacle suitable for all ages.

As midnight approaches, DJ Nicola Imperiale will take over the stage from 11:15 PM, building energy and rhythm as the New Year draws near. The voice of Aryfashion will add charisma and animation, interacting with the audience and boosting the festive atmosphere.

Just minutes before midnight, the square will be enveloped in striking visual effects projected onto the large LED wall. The collective countdown will lead into a shared midnight toast, welcoming the arrival of 2026 together.

From midnight until 2:00 AM, the party continues with an energetic back-to-back DJ set by Luca Venus and Nicola Imperiale, keeping the dance floor alive with nonstop music—an ideal way to begin the new year.

Throughout the night, lighting effects, scenic visuals, and immersive atmospheres will enhance the experience, while beverage and snack stations will be available to ensure comfort and enjoyment for all attendees.
