On Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., the traditional Advent Concert will take place in the Parish Church of St. Christina. A varied musical program awaits the audience: the parish choir, Cor Sasslong, I Rujins, and a guitar and violin trio will come together to create an evening filled with festive sounds and contemplative atmosphere. The concert offers a wonderful opportunity to step away from everyday life for a while and let the music and ambiance gently usher in the Christmas season. Afterwards, at 6:00 p.m., the Advent raffle will take place on the church square – a delightful way to end the evening in warm company.

Improtheater Carambolage: “Xmas-Show” At the Christmas market, the takings are high, the inns are full, and a family of refugees from the Middle East is settled in a stable, above which the angels sing. Ah, if only improvisational theatre had existed back then! The shepherds would have staged a musical with a happy ending for Baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph would have been swept up in a storm of love, and the ox and the donkey would have been settled in a cozy little farm. On Friday, December 19, 2025, the Kastelruther Spatzen invite you to their atmospheric Christmas concert, taking place at the Telfen Tennis Hall in Kastelruth. This year, the concert will be held exclusively on Friday – a special evening full of music, emotion, and festive spirit awaits all visitors. In the afternoon, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, fans will have the chance to meet the Kastelruther Spatzen in person: an autograph session with the popular musicians will take place at the Christmas market in Kastelruth. Musical accompaniment will be provided by the Alphorn Players and the "Kastelruther Turmbläser", creating a festive atmosphere. Admission to the concert begins at 3:00 PM at the Telfen Tennis Hall. From this time on, food and refreshments will be available. The concert itself starts at 5:00 PM, when the Kastelruther Spatzen will perform their most beautiful and heartfelt Christmas songs – a touching musical experience, perfect for the Advent season. This year in December there will take place the 58th edition of the Saslong Classic, valid for the FIS Ski World Cup. The athletes of the Super-G will go in scene on Friday 19th December 2025 and the day after, Saturday 20th December 2025, will attempt the stars of the classic downhill race on the Saslong. Don't miss this amazing event with the stars and champions of the alpine ski world cup. On Friday there will be the Super-G award ceremony and the downhill athletes presentation.

An evening of contrasts and sound colors: the overture to Carl Maria von Weber’s final opera Oberon leads into an exotic adventure. John Adams’ Shaker Loops brings the vibrant pulse of American minimalism. The program concludes with Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 1, Winter Dreams, an early masterpiece full of poetic atmosphere. Small groups of musicians from the music band Kiens/chienes enchant the streets of the 5 villages with their Christmas spirit and bring contemplative Christmas wishes.

Folk music, dedicated to the Christ Child, Advent and Christmas. Powerful singing of pure voices, plucked, tapped and blown instruments full of melodiousness. The parish church in Taufers is the setting for a musical and lyrical prelude to the most beautiful family celebration of the year.

The four cellists belong to different generations, but there are no differences when it comes to making music together. They have received extensive musical training in South Tyrol and abroad. In this concert programme, together with Andreas Benedikter on the organ, contrasting and exciting works are performed. In between, there are improvisations on the organ that refer to melodies and pieces just played by the cellists. The soft and warm sound of a cello quartet meets the power and spirituality of the organ. The Athesis Ensemble consists of musicians from South Tyrol and various regions of Italy. The instrumentation and size of the ensemble is variable - from a duo to a string orchestra. It combines a healthy mix of experience and youthful energy, consisting of teachers as well as chamber and orchestral musicians who love making music in small ensembles. The members of the ensemble regularly play in renowned orchestras, including the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala, the Orchestra Cherubini, the Orchestra del Comunale di Bologna, the Orchestra dell'Opera di Roma, the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Orchestra Haydn di Bolzano e Trento and the Orchestra del Teatro Regio di Torino. Symphonic Winds, this very special wind orchestra consisting of around 50 musicians Symphonic Winds, which consists of around 50 musicians, has enjoyed well over 65,000 concerts. The Symphonic Winds wind orchestra, under the artistic direction of Alexander Veit, will perform this year together with the Austrian-Bulgarian star pianist Donka Angatscheva in Dobbiaco (Gustav Mahler Hall of the Euregio Cultural Centre Dobbiaco), Bolzano (Concert Hall) and Merano (Kursaal). In addition, three choirs, the Phos Choir under the direction of Barbara Oss Emer, the Ritten Choir Association under the direction of Sandra Auer and the Welschnofen Men's Choir under the direction of Ivan Dejori will participate in two works.
