Chef and owner, Christian Rainer, is a passionate chef who knows how to cultivate traditional cuisine with love for fresh produce and seasonal dishes. You will find us directly in the museum of the mining world Ridnaun Schneeberg in Maiern. The cozy Knappenstube was built in 1993, paneled with old wood and grown on the robust original wall of the mine. Our restaurant has about 90 seats in the interior and about 90 seats on the panoramic terrace.

Hmmm, what a wonderful food fragrance touches my nose? I smell the warm sweetness of the potatoes and the spice smoked bacon. This mixture is refined, only just picked fresh alpine herbs and already on my plate! Appetite to get our Tyrolean Geröstl, or can it would rather be a freshly baked apple pie? The food on our mountain hut of Mahlknechthütte is very tasty and all meals are prepared with love.

In the midst of the action in Sulden - that's the village bar Nives, the ultimate hotspot! Come by and let yourself be convinced, it will definitely be worth it. The bar at Nives is a real feast for the eyes. The back part of the building protrudes and seems to float almost 4 stories in the air. Through the large windows, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the picturesque village of Sulden. With the longest bar counter in town, indirect lighting, and modern flair, the bar especially creates a unique atmosphere in the evening. Of course, there's also a fine selection of rum, gin, and whisky. Or do you prefer a glass of good South Tyrolean wine or a fine grappa? Whatever you decide, you are in the right place in our bar. The Gasthof Weissenstein is situated at 1520 m above sea level and offers a restaurant, a beer garden and a terrace with a wonderful panorama. Every day a delicious breakfast awaits you and at lunchtime we surprise you with various delicacies from our kitchen.

Serving Mediterranean Italian specialities, typical South Tyrolean cuisine and homemade ice-creams, we offer our guests a truly special experience. With clear views of the Geisler mountain range, our sun terrace is the perfect place to sit back and relax at the end of a great day out hiking.

The ideal destination for the whole family, located in the hiking and skiing area Klausberg, reachable also by mountain-bike and with baby strollers. Our restaurant lies next to the Family Park Klausberg with water world, balance parcour and dinoland. Enjoy traditional dishes and local specialties.

In the cold season we are the ideal destination for winter hiking and snow shoe hiking. In addition our restaurant lies on the toboggan run “Kottersteg”.
