This easy hike along the Maiser Waal (or irrigation channel) winds pleasantly through mixed forest and orchards and is highly recommended on hot summer days thanks to its numerous shady sections.

Scenically rewarding hike to the Ifingerhütte mountain hut on the western slopes directly below the Ifinger mountain. Idyllic spots, unspoilt trails and inviting huts make this hike a genuine pleasure.

Rein is one of the most oldest villages in the Tauferer Valley. The beautiful high valley is encircled by the three thousand meter peaks of the Rieserferner mountains, from which the Hochgall proudly sticks out. Rein lies in the heart of the Rieserferner Ahrn Nature Park.

10 meditational spots are found along the side of the path until we reach the "Franziskus and Klara" chapel. By entering the symbolic gate near the car park you enter a new world. Furthermore, those who hike this path in silence will have a rich experience. The chapel is open day and night. The Liturgy of the Word (religious readings) can be celebrated by groups without asking beforehand. Atmospheric hike on the Schenner Waalweg trail. This shady route winds without any noteworthy climbs along the course of the old irrigation channel and offers an exciting hike with wonderful landscapes to enjoy. 

This easy, family-friendly hike leads from Verdins along the Wiesersteig track down to the village of Scena. Shady forests, blooming meadows and pretty farmhouses lend a truly special atmosphere to this hike.

The Seppelesteig tour is a leisurely circular hike where you can enjoy the idyllic scenery of Slingia and the green forests of Watles.

The circular hike on the Steinegg Ridge Way is ideal for families and hikers looking for a varied hike. On well-signposted paths marked with a yellow shoe, the route takes you mainly through sparse forests past individual viewpoints with impressive views of the surrounding mountain panorama, such as the Schlern | Sciliar, the Rosengarten | Catinaccio and the Latemar.
In the summer months, you can easily escape the heat in the woods on this circular tour.
Along the way, benches with tables invite you to take a break and have a picnic. There is also a refreshment stop on the circular hike: the alpine hut Oberölgart. Another place to stop for a break is the Untereggerhof inn. This can be reached via a short detour from the farm Tschigghof to the observatory and is not directly on the tour.
Parts of the tour are suitable for pushchairs and run along wide forest paths. Ask at the information offices in the Eggental | Val d'Ega.

This easy hike to the Frin meadows offers an unforgettable experience in the midst of the breathtaking Dolomite landscape - a real highlight for nature lovers and connoisseurs.

The tour starts at the Hotel Moseralm. A short, gentle ascent on a forest path leads you to the extensive Frin meadows, which will delight you with their magnificent views of the Latemar Massif, Rosengarten Massif and the Schlern Massif. Depending on the season, the meadows present themselves in a variety of colours: in spring in full bloom, in summer in lush green or in autumn in a riot of colour. The surrounding area invites you to linger and offers numerous opportunities to enjoy the impressive mountain scenery in peace and quiet.

The trail continues at a leisurely pace towards the Nigerstraße | Via Nigra. On the way, you will pass the cosy Ochsenhütte hut, which invites hikers to take a well-earned rest with regional specialities. The way back is via an idyllic forest path that gently leads you back to the Hotel Moseralm.

An easy hiking of 2,5 km, in the Wielental/Valle di Vila, which presents no difficulties and is therefore well suited for families and children.

The Power of Water is the theme of four trails in Valle di Selva dei Molini that await hikers with a thirst for knowledge about nature. Each one has its very own unique charm.

Pleasant forest hike to the foot of the majestic Ifingerspitze mountain peak. This two and a half hour-long hike leads over lovely, well-built trails through coniferous forests and meadows up to the picturesque Streitweideralm mountain hut.  

A perfect family hike: Frauwaal trail gently winds its way up from Prad to Lichten-
berg, offering stunning views of Vinschgau valley and one of the largest castle 
grounds in the country.

The Tauferer Ahrntal (valley) is rich in legends. Some of these are presented on the Tauferer Valley Legend Trail. Children are drawn into an exciting world of magic, adults learn something about the mystics of Taufers. The legends are told on display boards. We hear about the little woman from Oberpurstein, about the Antrischen people, about the castle on Purstein, the treasure at Tobl and the doom of the Walburg Castle.

Lake Antholz (1,650 m) > Almensteig (cabin trail) > Steinzger cabin (1,894 m) > trail no. 7 B > Obere Steinzger Alm (2,076 m; not managed) > trail no. 7a > at the highest point (2,260 m) amazing view of both lakes and the surrounding mountain scenery > Staller Saddle / Obersee (2,050 m) > trail no. 11 back to Lake Antholz.

Mountain panorama, adventure and turquoise water - this adventurous hike in the middle of the legendary mountain world of King Laurin is an absolute highlight for the whole family. The metres in altitude are comfortably conquered with the mountain railways, so that you can enjoy the panorama from above without too much effort. Huts with panoramic terraces invite you to linger, while Lake Carezza enchants young and old with its rainbow colours.

Easy hike for the whole family on scenic mountain trails. The highlight of the entire route is a visit to the Christomannos Monument -a bronze eagle, which was built in honor of the tourism pioneer Theodor Christomannos. From there you have a wonderful view over the Val di Fassa and the Val d'Ega as far as the Latemar group.

Bringing people close to nature...this is the aim of the nature experience path in Sand in Taufers. The circular path is about 3 to 4 miles long and was partially financed by the village of Sand in Taufers and the Department for Natural Parks.Its logo is a squirrel, which accompanies the hiker from one station to the next. Many themes are touched upon: nature, fauna, flora, geology, mythology, legends, myths….. Interesting ideas such as a look-out platform make this round-trip trail even more attractive. The Adventure Path for a Healthy Community will be built or accordingly expanded as part of a theme trails’ project in the autumn of 2015.

The Milk Trail is an educational and scenic hike that offers insights into South Tyrol’s dairy traditions. Perfect for nature lovers and anyone interested in alpine culture.

The riverside promenade along the river of Pflersch is a particularly popular walking path, valued for its pleasant, shady location by both hikers and families. The scenic route begins at the sports field in Gossensass and leads to the Maria-Hilf Chapel in Außerpflersch. This section is also ideal for strollers, allowing families with young children to enjoy nature’s beauty with ease. You can leisurely return on the same path. Along the way, you'll find several play stations from the "On the Trail of Water" educational trail and a Kneipp pool.

An alternative route takes you across the bridge over the river of Pflersch, then right onto the riverside promenade. Early on, a path branches left, leading to Redwitzplatz, the iron spring, and the barefoot path. From here, there are several options to continue your hike: you can follow the Gottschalkweg, head to Vallming Hut, or simply return to the original promenade. Each of these paths offers different views and experiences, making your walk varied and exciting.

Easy hike below the Rose Garden through flowering mountain meadows to a very special vantage point at the foot of the Roda di Vael, named after Empress Sissi - "The Kaiserstein".

This extended circuit along the Archeopfad Archaeological Trail leads from Brixen/Bressanone through the vineyards and fruit farms to the Natz-Schabs/Naz-Sciaves plateau, covered in apple orchards. Passing two natural biotopes, the scenic trail runs from the northernmost vineyards in South Tyrol as far as the Augustinian Canons Monastery of Neustift/Novacella before returning to Brixen. This all-encompassing trail passes through some of the most beautiful cultural landscapes in South Tyrol.
