The Marschnell Alm is the highest alpine pasture of the Ultental Valley and lies at 2,213 m. From the Gigglhirnhof the hiking trail no. 10 leads directly to the alp. In addition to traditional alpine dishes, alpine cheese and butter, various daily specials and desserts are also offered.
On request, an overnight stay with "Peilstein breakfast" is also possible.

Easy hike to one of the most important places of pilgrimage in the Pustertal valley, whose little church " Unserer Lieben Frau von Loreto" was built around the middle of the 17th century.

The hike to the Laureiner Alm starts at the Hofmahd parking place. Trail no. 26 first leads to the alpine pasture and then on to the viewpoints "Auf der Höhe" and "Steinmandl" in the border area between South Tyrol and Trentino. For the way back from the Laureiner Alm to the parking place, you can use trail no. 28.

This easy and relatively leisurely mountain hike always leads in descent to St. Gertraud/S. Geltrude without any significant ascent, whereby in the lower part of the hike an original mountain farming landscape is roamed.

The Speikboden is more than just a favorite ski area. It is also an ideal hiking area. The mountain got its name from a little flower that grows in the high mountains – Alpine valerian, or “Speik” in German – and that is in fact because this lovely flower is often found in the hiking area.

With the cable cars you can reach the "Speikboden Alm" at 2000 metres of altitude or the Sonnklar mountain at 2400 metres above sea level. Both are starting points for fantastic walks and hikes along well maintained trails. Particularly popular are the sunrise walks - to spot the first sunrays while the valley still lies in darkness is a memorable experience.

Easy family hike along fragrant alpine meadows with play stations and impressive mountain panorama

The Fiechteralm can be reached from Weißbrunn on foot on the forest road (suitable for prams) or on hiking trail 101. Traditional alpine dishes as well as butter, cheese made from cow and goat's milk, cream cheese, yoghurt, game and grilled specialties from the wood grill await you on the Alm (Sundays). There is a children's playground on the Alm.

The hike to the Kuppelwieser Alm with start at the mountain station of the Schwemmalm cable car (hiking trail no. 6, 5, 5B) offers an impressive view of the Hoher Dieb, the 3257 m high Hasenohr and the Arzkarsee.
Once you reach your destination, you will be spoiled with traditional alpine dishes, homemade juices, bacon, strudel and on Sundays and holidays also with specialties from the wooden grill.
The little visitors can let off steam on the children's playground.
The alp can also be reached comfortably by car via the Steinrast.

The hike to the Kühberg Alm starts at the Steinrast mountain inn and leads to the Alm via hiking trails 4B and 4A.
The Kühberg Alm is also suitable as a stopover for those who want to do the circular hike from Simian via the Riemerbergl Alm to the Kofelraster Seen and back to Simian (total walking time approx. 4.5 hours - walking time to the Kühberg Alm approx. 3 hours).
On request it is also possible to stay overnight at the Kühberg Alm.

This mountain hike leads from the mountain station to the Kuppelwieser Alm and from there descending to the mountain restaurant Steinrast. Here the counter ascent begins over the Kühberg Alm to the Riemer Bergl Alm

The starting point for this hike is at the St. Helena parking lot. Afterwards, hiking trail no. 8 leads to the Innerfalkomai Alm, which is open from mid-June to mid-September. In addition to traditional alpine dishes, the alp also offers overnight accommodation on request.

Long mountain hike with wonderful panoramic views and several places to stop, but which requires good physical condition.

The Kirchbergalm is easily accessible from the village of St. Gertraud via the forest road (hiking trail no. 108). On the alp visitors are spoiled with traditional alpine dishes. 
On request, even the typical "Muas" can be enjoyed.
Those who would like to continue the hike will reach the unmanaged Bärhapp-Alm after about 1 hour and the Haselgruberhütte after another 40 minutes (open from June 20 to September 20).

Extremely long tour that brings the hiker to the edge of the high mountains. Although the route runs on good roads, mountain experience and good condition are required.

Start and finish: Elementary School
Route: Starting from the school, we cross the square bridge and arrive at Von Kurz Square. In front of the City Hall, we take Jakob-Traunsteiner Street to the east, walking along it and also a short section of Johann-Jaeger Street to the "Roda-Platzl," the little "Roda" square.
We pass the railroad underpass to the first knoll of the road "Maistatt" (Maia Plain). We turn left, descend on the road skirting the railway eastward, cross the railway underpass to the "Graapach". Just before the bridge we go up on the right, still heading south to the road "Maistatt" and the bridge "Maiståtta Prugge"-on the left along the road the Holy Nepomuk pillar. Continuing along the road to Pian di Maia - to the right the "Noipruch" fields, to the left the "Graa" fields - eastward at first on a level path, then slightly uphill to the votive capital of the "Vierzan Noathelfa" and onward to "Maistått"- Pian di Maia. Beautiful historic building, and below the chapel of St. Nepomuk-behind the house the spring of the hot spring. Starting from it, westward the narrow forest path along the spring, past the manger and finally left on the forest path to the forest road at the "Reahwinkl". Beautiful view of the "Ratsberg" (Mount Rota) and St. Mary's, a place of pilgrimage. From the "Reahwinkl" we descend to the "Maiståtta-Prugge" bridge. From there on the left we follow the road "Maistatt" in the direction of the village - on the left the forest "Groaße Putzaran" to the "Ersto Gåtto/Kiagåtto" (Cat = fence).
We continue on the road past the railroad underpass to the "Roda-Platzl" and from there later back to the school.

The Spitzner Alm is located above St. Walburg on the south side at an altitude of 1856 metres. The Alm offers home-made products such as Alpine cheese, butter, traditional Alpine dishes, home-made juices, strudel, Kaiserschmarrn and much more. It is also possible to stay overnight on request.

The hike leads from the car park at Hofmahdjoch (1,785 m) on the hiking trail no. 8 and then on the hiking trail no. 24 to the Gampen Alm. This is also easily accessible on a forest road.

Moderate hike from St. Leonhard/S. Leonardo to the Ochsenalm on the Plose with views overlooking the Brixen/Bressanone basin.

The pleasant walk takes you around the Prati village. Start by the parking lot by the Comunal Park Wiesen, crossing the Pfitsch river and along the road to the first turn. Right on the "Prantlweg" trail to the valley end until the Pfitsch street. Crossing the "Millerbrücke" bridge you will arrive to the power station. Turn on left into the "Roanderweg" trail and follow the trail in western direction until "Schloss Moos" building. From there return on the side road to the Wiesen village and the starting point.

Easy and family-friendly tour in the Matschertal valley to the Matscheralm Alpine Pasture, which is below the Pleres Spitze peak.

The hike to the Kaserfeld Alm starts at the Lahnersäge Visitor Center in St. Gertraud and leads first along the steeply ascending hiking trail no. 143 and then along the more leisurely trail no. 145 through spruce and larch forest.
Visitors to the alp are treated to traditional alpine dishes, mountain herb dishes, homemade juices, Kaminwurzen and much more.

The alp can also be reached from the mountain station of the Schwemmalmbahn via hiking trails no. 29, 12A and 14A.

The trail leads from St. Nikolaus through the forest into the Auerbergtal valley and can be followed on the hiking trail as well as on the forest path. The mountain hut offers traditional alpine dishes in a rustic setting.

The Weißbrunner hut is located directly at the Lake Weissbrunn. The Lake can be reached by car via St. Gertraud. Traditional Alpine dishes await you at the hut.

Starting point: Hofmahd car park, Laurein (1,786 m) Hiking trail: No. 8, walking time: 20 min, end point: Revó Alm, difference in altitude: 121 m (easy mountain tour)

Start off by walking up Kirchgasse to the beginning of the Margarethe Promenade. Then take the old, mostly cobble-paved Montigler Road (no. 9). After about 30 minutes on the incline you reach a cross-roads with the path coming from the Neuhaus ruins on the right and leading to Montigl. Continue on the old Montigler Road until you reach the new Montigler Road. Continue eastward on the new Montigler Road for approx. 20 minutes until you reach the "Moarhof" Farm. It is the last farm on this high plateau (not open to the public). In order to get back down to the valley, the moderately steep and little used road to Terlan can be utilized. Where it meets the road to Mölten it is preferable to cross it, go up for about 40 m and take path no. 3 to get back down to the village. After several hairpin bends your path meets the road to Mölten, coming out of a tunnel again. Follow it for approx. 50 m. Then there is an opening in the guard rail where the trail no. 3 A continues. After about 20 m we suggest you take a quick detour to the left to the "Wetterkreuz" (weather cross). This beautiful panoramic viewpoint grants a look at the ruins of the St. Peter Miner's Chapel that was built in the 14th century and on the opposite mountain slope you can still see the entrances to some galleries from the 15th century, when mining had its heyday in this region. The path then continues a little steeply down to the farmhouse "Klaus in der Mühl" and eventually feeds into the Kirchgasse which leads you back to the starting point.

The hike to the Inner Schwemmalm starts from St. Moritz (1,623 m) and leads along hiking trails no. 6 and no. 13 through the forest, past flowering alpine meadows.
Traditional alpine dishes are served at the alp.

The alp can also be reached quite comfortably with the Schwemmalmbahn (approx. 10 minutes on foot).
