The hike to the Kaserfeld Alm starts at the Lahnersäge Visitor Center in St. Gertraud and leads first along the steeply ascending hiking trail no. 143 and then along the more leisurely trail no. 145 through spruce and larch forest. Visitors to the alp are treated to traditional alpine dishes, mountain herb dishes, homemade juices, Kaminwurzen and much more.
The alp can also be reached from the mountain station of the Schwemmalmbahn via hiking trails no. 29, 12A and 14A.
