For those who have known us for many years, our restaurant at Passo Campolongo is truly a must-visit! The strudels and polenta with venison from Senior Albina have become legendary in the Dolomites Passes. Anyone who has had the chance to taste them fondly remembers their flavor, texture, and aroma. The main feature of Monte Cherz is its tradition, evident in every detail, from the dining rooms to the bar. The restaurant offers classics of Ladin tradition, from the typical canederli with butter and smoked ricotta to the strudel with South Tyrolean apples, cinnamon, raisins, and pine nuts, all made according to traditional recipes. The heart of the house: Restaurant Terra Only a few steps from heaven you'll find the highest-located starred restaurant in Italy. Everything you get at Terra - The Magic Place is home-made. The cuisine of gourmet chef Heinrich Schneider is modern and of subtle finesse. The dishes are characterised by products from South Tyrol and farmers from the immediate vicinity. These unique gourmet highlights are matched with the best wines, recommended by the certified sommelier Gisela Schneider, sister of Heinrich. The reconstruction works in the restaurant, the heart of the house, will be concluded in May 2014. Now, the restaurant will also have its own name: "Terra". We will be pleased to indulge you in our in-house pizzeria with an original Italian pizza created by Herbert, our pizzaiolo. You can taste the variety of the different pizzas or create one for yourself. Experience an Italian pizza – famous the world over – on our terrace as the sun goes down. Enjoy the popular Sylvaner white wine in the Sylvanerhof's bar. Our guesthouse opened in 1969 and was named after this grape variety. As pioneers of the variety, our father and grandfather planted it on the slopes of Kranebitt and Neustift. Since then it has become one of the most highly valued wines in the Eisack Valley. You can enjoy the peace and unique view of the Karspitz and Lake Radlsee over a delicious ice cream sundae or a homemade apple strudel and an excellent Italian cappuccino from our sun terrace.

Open from Easter to Allhallows (Pizzeria also from the middle of November to the end of January). Closing day: Tuesday The kitchen is open from 12 a.m to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m to 9.5 p.m. The pizzeria is open from 5 p.m to 11 p.m.

The restaurant is easily accessible by bike, about 5 minutes from the cycle path through the village. It can also be reached conveniently by Citybus 435.1 – simply get off at the “Olang, Abzweigung Panorama” stop and follow the road for about 10 minutes. The restaurant is just a few minutes’ walk from the Kids’ World and the Kids Area Panorama, making it the ideal spot for a break between all the adventures.

As an accompaniment, junior chef Andreas serves you just the right wine from South Tyrol, Italy, or even wine from abroad.

Our bar lies in a very calm position, near to the various starting points of the most famous excursions and walking paths.

Our cocktail bar with a unique and surprising character. You will be surprised by the location, for its delicate extravagance and the view of the Dolomites, and you will be conquered by our refined collection of gin, by the unusual proposal of cocktails, but, above all, by the passion of our barman. He does not mix ingredients already prepared, but first of all he creates them: a long list of homemade products that are created by the processing of fresh fruit and spices. Then, as an alchemist, he combines these ingredients into unique and complex cocktails that bear his signature. And if you can’t choose, just let him know your tastes, he will create a cocktail uniquely yours.

The bar is open daily (even in rainy weather) from 10am to 10.pm. Snacks.
