The high-altitude cross-country trail in Langtaufers offers a unique skiing experience amidst an idyllic winter landscape. The circular route starts in Perwarg and follows the edge of the forest to the charming Melager Alm. Along the way, skiers can enjoy breathtaking views of the snow-covered peaks of the Ötztal Alps and the untouched nature of the Langtaufers Valley.

After a short break at the Melager Alm – perfect for savoring local delicacies – the trail continues to Melag. The route is suitable for both classic skiing and skating techniques, and thanks to its altitude, it guarantees excellent snow conditions

At the biathlon centre in Martello/Martell located at an altitude of 1.700 m in a breathtaking  winter landscape, there are cross-country skiing trails of different lenghts and of various degrees of difficulty.
At the biathlon centre Martello/Martell, biathles of different national teams train every year and international and national biathlon competitions are organized regularly. In addition, the centre also has a modern shooting range with 27 fully automatic firing ranges.

Characterising the cross-country skiing trail in Solda is easy. It is a simple but fascinating route at 1,900 m above sea level with views of the Ortler, Cevedale and Königspitze mountains. The high altitude trail in Solda is groomed from the middle of December to the middle of April. The ticket can be purchased directly at the valley station of the Kanzellift, at the valley station of the cable car, at the Cevedale practice slope, at Sport Thöni or at the information office. You will find parking spaces directly at the Kanzellift or at the entrance to the village.

The starting point of this pleasant cross-country ski trail is Hotel Waldheim. The chapel of Santa Maria alla Fonderia built in 1711 is situated along the trail and is definitely worth a stop.  Of course you can also walk to the chapel.
