Horn Alm in the Monte Corno Nature Park

We are located in a very quiet spot along a small valley at 1240m above sea level, next to a small creek, at the feet of the „black horn“ mountain (Corno Nero). Our guest house is a 4th generation old family run structure which has recently been refurbished to modern standards.

Traditional bakery, which has specialized in a wide range of "Schüttelbrot", black and brown bread. House pastry and fine Italian coffee.

Tipical local food and homemade cakes. Sunbathing area with bowling alley and a large sun terrace on 1580 m. It´s a place to start beautiful trips both during the winter and the summer, as the UNESCO world heritage GEOparc Bletterbach.

The tavern Brunner is one of the oldest taverns in town. In the summertime you can relax on our big terrace, where a big chestnut-tree offers you shade. Not far away you can also find a children’s playground. On EVENINGS the kitchen is open ONLY ON REQUEST. The tavern offers two dining rooms where you can celebrate birthdays or weedings. We are looking forward to meet you!

The Family serves hearty home-made South Tyrolean specialities with regional products. In November and December the restaurant is open on reservation in the evening.

In our winery in the heart of Laives, where regional and national traditions melt into each other, everyone can enjoy a good glass of wine. In the comfortable cellar in rustic style we serve different wines and schnapps with small appetizers. A special feature of our vinery are the steel tanks, filled with wine. Our guests can taste the different types of wine and if you want to buy some, the wine will get filled in in designated bottles. On request we make also wine tastings with our sommelier. Our tavern Schwabhof is located near the hiking path "Altavia di Laives/Leiferer Höhenweg“. From Laives you can reach the tavern in about one hour and a half by foot or in 20 minutes by car. We offer a variety of South Tyrolean dishes and - ONLY ON RESERVATION - grill specialities and more. The Mahlknecht family is looking forward to welcoming you!

Restaurant Plattner, Törggelen

A rustic and authentic wine tavern with traditional South Tyrolean specialties from its own production. In autumn the Leitlkeller is known as a typical "Törggele" location.

At Zunerhof we daily serve excellent dumplings, “Spätzle” but also Schlutzkrapfen (ravioli with spinach filling) Herrengröstel (meat dish with roasted potatoes), roasted pork knuckle (upon request) and much much more. In addition to that we also offer a fine selection of South Tyrolean wines as well as home-made juices. Wonderful specialities which will be served in one of our beautiful Stuben of the 16th century, or, as soon as the weather allows it, on our sunny terrace. Some of the many specialities you can taste at Zunerhof: •Deer gulash with porcino mushrooms •Dumpling tris with salad •“Herrngröstel” with bacon coleslaw •Home-made “Schlutzer” •Roasted pork knuckles cooked in the traditional wooden oven (upon request)

…a little oasis between apple plantations, only 15 minutes from the center of Laives, easy to reach by car and by bike (from every direction). The ice cream parlor „Alla Stazione“ is a meeting-point…perfect to enjoy a good ice cream, an aperitif with friends and more…we are looking forward to meet you!

Our Café is located in the middle of meadows and only 2 kilometer from the city center of Laives. Close-by you can also find the international bicycle track along the river Adige. We offer a lot of different desserts, such as ice cream or cake. You can relax in our garden with a big children’s playground.

Baker’s shop with Stand-up Café. The center of attraction on the main street for everybody who loves tasty bread and fresh cake slices. From the favorite personalized cake up to small lunch snacks you will find everything your heart desires.

The Salten upland with its wide pastures and meadows, dark coniferous forests and southern vegetation gives this middle-mountain landscape an extraordinary charm. In the winter on Saturday and Sunday it open all day.

Tipical alp specialities. From our alp it´s perfect to start trips to the mountains Schwarzhorn and Weißhorn.
