Herb farm in Wielenberg/Montevila (Percha/Perca). We manually and lovingly grow medicinal plants and herbs for seasoning on the sunny hills around our mountain farm in Wielenberg. After a careful harvest we produce herbal teas, essential oils, natural cosmetics and herb liquors. As our farm is located far away from traffic and noise and as the production of our herbs follows strictly controlled biological guide-lines we guarantee an absolute natural purity and a very high quality of our products. Since 2010 our herb farm is housed in an imposing building made of natural logs. The massive pine logs create a magic and comfortable ambiance and recall the history of the herb farm which goes back to the young Stone Age. A fascinating world of herbs, fairy-tales and legends awaits you in our rooms. There is also an archaeological exhibit that invites you to take a trip back to its very beginnings.

The farm Lindenwirt exists since 1858 and has changed ownership several times. 1956 Franz Reifer bought the farm from the Italian State. Franz managed the farm and also a inn with his wife Marianne. The family kept a few of cows and chickens. 2001 Franz handed over the farm to his son Philipp. Previously a dairy farm, he decided to convert the farm to growing berries.
We also opened our farm shop, where we sell our fresh fruits, seasonal vegetables and South Tyrolean specialities. At Lindenwirt we grow strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and some cherries.
The tourist information center is located in Steinhaus/Cadipietra, directly on the main road in the "Pfisterhaus". Here you will find all sorts of tourist information about the Ahrntal valley and we will be happy to help you to find an accommodation. Also for other questions, problems and wishes contact our staff members. The team always keeps informative material on hand for you, the events calendar of the whole valley and informs you about attractions, restautants, bars, ... and offers numerous proposals for cycling and hiking tours. The Plattner farm house in Wolfsgruben is more than 600 years old. The Gramm Family, a mercantile family from Bolzano, has carried out an exemplary restoration of it liaising closely with the provincial historic preservation agency and so, also because of its unique location, it is one of the most picturesque farmsteads in the region. Today it accommodates a bee-keeping museum that illustrates in a lively and vivid way the sweet art of making honey. The magnificent Plattnerhof is the largest private collection of South Tyrol’s beekeeping and it is also a monument of rural architecture and savoir vivre. A nature trail on the picturesque hill near to the house explains the world of bees to visitors.

When people hear the word 'Bee' they think of honey, or perhaps they recall the pain of a sting.
My life as a beekeeper began when I was a child. Over the years I experienced the discomfort of a bee’s sting many times, yet I still retain a passion for these beautiful animals.
Our family operates around eighty beehives and the quality of our honey is most important. We only harvest from honeycomb that is sealed by the bees for storage, so that the honey retains all the vital elements. Our honey is unblended and pure, and is certified with the ‘Extracted Honey’ quality label. Our honeycombs are free from larvae and residues, giving this premium quality honey a delicious unique flavour.
