A very warm welcome to the romantic atmosphere of the Talschlusshütte in Sesto at the head of the sunny Fiscalina Valley! 1548 m above sea level at the entrance to the famous Drei Zinnen nature reserve and at the heart of the UNESCO world natural heritage site, hikers and those seeking recuperation rejoice in the charms of our cosy, rustic accommodation in Sesto, the traditional culinary treats and the 360º panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. Here, where the limestone summits of the Rotwand, the peaks of the Sexten Dolomites and the immense Dreischusterspitze reach up into the skies and seem close enough to touch, every day’s holiday holds a wealth of emotions and adventures…

For lunch, we also have a large self-serve restaurant with 300 seats indoors and 120 seats on the sun terrace which is open from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.

We are glad that you have found us! With us at 1350 meters above sea level, the world is still in order. Grazing cattle in summer, lush alpine meadows, a fantastic view and tasty, local dishes invite hikers and bikers all year round to a hearty hut meal and a hearty Marende. Our rustic, newly structured alpine hut in the Tiersertal (Dolomites) is a worthwhile destination for the whole family. Whether on foot, by mountain bike, with stroller or baby carrier: the short way to us is suitable for all. You will be rewarded with local dishes, a tasty cake or other regional specialties, together with a good cup of coffee.

Especially the location of our cottage will delight you for Pfroder Alm, ist near from the Totenkirchl. You can also enjoy our panoramic view.

Our cosy hut offers something special for everyone! A stunning panoramic view over the mountains of the valley and a mini petting zoo for the children. Real hospitality and home-made products promise an authentic experience in the nature of Ahrntal valley. We are reachable perfectly also with baby strollers or by mountainbike.

The Sternhütte mountain inn is located on the leisure mountain Rosskopf near Vipiteno/Sterzing. The inn offers local dishes and fresh products.

Bella Vista Mountain Refuge (2,845 meters) is located at the end of Senales Valley and is surrounded by the ice of the Hochjochferner Glacier. Back in 1869, a mountain refuge came into being here in order to allow for crossing back and forth between the Venter and Senales valleys, even in bad weather conditions. Paul Grüner, owner of the Golden Rose Hotel, acquired the mountain refuge in 1999. After an extensive renovation in 2006, the Bella Vista (lit: “Beautiful View”) offers not only the charm of an authentic Alpine lodge and a great deal of comfort, but also some truly special features such as an igloo and the highest-elevation outdoor sauna in Europe.

The Hochrautalm, or Alpine pasture Hochrautalm, is accessible from Taisten. In Taisten, you start from the parking lot (€) above the mountain inn Mudler and enjoy a pleasant hike either along the forest road (marked with signs 31/5A/5) in about 90 minutes or, alternatively, take the forest road first and then the shortcut (marked with signs 31/5A/5C) in about 40 minutes. Once you reach the Hochrautalm Alpine pasture, you can indulge in South Tyrolean specialties for both young and old, as well as enjoy a breathtaking view towards Antholz and Kronplatz. Marvel at gentle green hills and distinctive mountains... All of this combined with delights like dumplings or apple strudel! Or perhaps you'd prefer a burger?

The Gstatsch hut is newly built with the philosophy of South Tyrolean regionality. At the same time we move away from the tradition and reinterpret a new cuisine. The route up to the hut is family and cyclist friendly.

Our mountain inn lies near Lago di Favogna, a favorite biotope and swimming lake that is an insider tip for nature lovers. Typical Alto Adige cuisine with fresh ingredients and choice wines. Rooms are available at the inn as well.

We offer fine Italian cuisine, typical South Tyrolean specialties and a variety of drinks list. In the morning we serve the guests a rich breakfast buffet. At noon they are a long range of pasta dishes, fine soups and hearty meat dishes to choose from. In the evening our chef spoils you with delicious healthy vegetables from the salad buffet menus and desserts.

The refuge is reachable also by Gardenacia cableway, then about 40 minutes on foot. Completely restored during spring 2009; run by Nagler family of Badia.
