Pleasure on the mountain

The Mastaunalm is situated above Madonna di Senales, in the high valley Mastaun. The Alpine pasture in summer time is attainable, in approximately one hour, over a way which is broad and rising slightly. The Mastaunalm this year is also open in winter - from saturday to sunday and for groups on request also on other days.

Starting point: Val Ridanna – Masseria (1.370m) From the park area at the village center of Masseria walk along the transit road to the Hotel Schneeberg, along the asphalted road to a fork, where you turn left and follow the signpost Martalm. Then continue on relatively flatter ground along the asphalted road, past the heating system of the Hotel Schneeberg, through an underpass and uphill in serpentines to the farm Staudnerhof. Pass the farmhouse and continue to walk on a gravel path in the Staudenberg valley. Along the river Staudenberg towards the valley to the first left bend and along a forest path following the signposts “Martalm”. After a short flat section you reach the mountain pasture. Alternative: starting from Bergl (1.560m) the walk time is about 30 minutes

Starting point: head valley Val Ridanna - Masseria (1.417m) Start at the gate and follow the asphalted road uphill, very steep at first, then a little flatter after 800m. At the bridge we turn left and follow the signposts to the mountain pasture Moarerbergalm. After the Poschhaus ruin we turn off to the right and hike approx. 200m to the mountain pasture Moarerbergalm. Alternative: reachable by using the bus of the Mining Museum, registration required (Tel. +390472656364) Tip: local meat dishes and typical South Tyrolean dishes. Breakfast on reservation.

One Alm mountain pasture with real economy and well-kept South Tyrolean hut operating in the Sarntaler Alps in the south of South Tyrol.

Small, easily accessible alpine hut at the foot of the Sasso Piatto/Plattkofel mountain. The Murmeltier hut offers a cosy atmosphere and serves simple hot and cold dishes, as well as home-made cakes.

Idyllic destination on 2054 m for day and holiday guests. We offer a fine cuisine, cosy rooms and dormitory and a relaxing sauna oasis. With playground, E-bike station and luge track.

At the mountain restaurant Puflatsch, you can enjoy typical South Tyrolean Cuisine with its specialities such as 'Speckknödel mit Rindsgulasch', Schlutzkrapfen etc. During the summer, our large sun terrace is the right place for a well-earned rest and a cosy lunch or a South Tyrolean 'Marende' (snack). Everyone who stays in the Marinzenhütte may enjoy about the beautiful sunterrace and a comfortable lawn. There are a petting zoo and a children's playground.

Hosts Michael, Anni and Max look forward to preparing refreshments for you in their traditional hut. The Rungger hut is situated on the outer edge of the Alpe di Siusi on hiking trail no. 5 below the Spitzbühl and next to the Spitzbühl slope.

Taste the traditional specialities and the home made dishes and pastries. Accommodation possibility. Reservation requested.
