    Starting point: mountain station cable car Rosskopf Monte Cavallo – Vipiteno (1.850m) Starting from the mountain station of the cable car Rosskopf Monte Cavallo (closed in summer 2022) hike along the wide path no. 23. The trail increases slightly southwestwards. Continue to walk over a mountain bridge and further on to the mountain pasture Ochsenalm (1.907m). From there follow the ridgeway under the summits Telfer Weißen to the cirque of the mountain pasture Seeberalm with the lake Seebersee. Alternative: reachable also from the valley head Ridanna across the same path to the mountain pasture Prischeralm and following the path no. 23 towards the mountain pasture Seeberalm.     The Kortscher Alm Alpine Pasture is situated on 1,987 m in the Schlandrauntal valley, under the mountain lake of Kortsch. The Alm team serves beverages and snacks as well as milk, cheese, yogurt and butter from the farmyard production.

    Ratschings/Racines, Sterzing/Vipiteno and environs
    Starting point: Entholz-Gasse (1.438m) This hike starts at the hamlet “Gasse” just before Ridanna. Follow the signpost “Mareiter Stein” southwards along the asphalted road. Go past the group of farmhouses Entholz. Crossing meadows you soon reach the edge of the forest. Turn right across a stream ditch. The path leads over a forest trail with the marking no. 4A steeply up to the first mowing meadows. There is a street which leads over wavy alpine pastures to the mountain pasture Joggelealm. Alternative: also reachable via the path no. 26 towards the mountain pasture Valtiglalm, whereby you have to turn left on path no. 24b after about half way. Also suitable as a mountain bike tour. Tip: daily fresh strudel, musical events and theatrical performances in the stable, sunrise breakfast on reservation

    Alpine inn in the area of Sciliar with traditional dishes. Sesselschwaige, a cozy alpine inn on the slopes of Mount Sciliar A perfect hiking destination at the Sciliar, one of South Tyrole‘s best known landmarks. Sesselschwaige is located about an hour's hike below the vast plateau of Mount Sciliar. Surrounded by green pastures, not far from a clear mountain creek, the inn is popular for taking a break on the way up or down from the Sciliar and its chalets. But the charming little alpine hut is a perfect destination itself and rewards the hiker with typical local culinary delights, fresh dairy products and splendid views of the surrounding woods, slopes and peaks. Since the cottage has no access road and can be reached only by foot, there is true peace and quiet to be found here. Here, you can still get in touch with nature without getting distracted by tacky decor and noisy crowds. The hike itself from Fiè, Tires or Alpe di Siusi is reasonably easy and poses

    On the cosy sun terrace you can enjoy a fantastic view of the surrounding mountain scenery, and the kitchen serves guests some local or South Tyrolean specialities, including the famous Kaiserschmarrn. Starting point: Head of the valley in Val Casies Valley/S. Maddalena. Walking time: 1 ½ hours. Path: n° 47 or n° 12. Altitude difference: 503m. Sun terrace and typical tyrolean dishes. No toboggan rental at the hut.

    The hut on the Alpe San Silvestro is located at an altitude of 1,800 m and offers stunning views across the valley. The hut offers Tyrolean cuisine from local produce. You can reach the Rifugio Alpe San Silvestro via the Rifugio Lachwiesen (hiking path No. 1A) or via the Valle San Silvestro (turn right after the Ristorante Genziana - hiking path No. 1). From Alpe San Silvestro you can continue your hike to the Rifugio Bonner or the Corno di Fana. Near the Alpine pasture there is the chapel Cappella di San Silvestro, which is well worth seeing. The hut is also easily reached by mountain bike and a good resting place before continuing on the Stoneman trail up to Cornetto di Confine.

    In the cold season you can reach us on a winter hiking trail, which is ideal for snow shoe hiking tours.
