Pleasure on the mountain

The hut is located on the Trentino side right under the Sassolungo. We have 12 beds in comfort rooms with own bathroom and 30 more beds in typical tyrolean rooms with sharing bathrooms. The refuge has boot warmers, clothes dryer and e-bike refills with the possibility to put the bikes indoors, a modern ski-room and a private ski-lift that takes you directly to the Dolomiti Superski slopes 12 resorts and 1200km of slopes and the famous Sellaronda without cold morning queues. Our cuisine is typical with a touch of modernity, many dishes offered come from our organic farms in Highlander, the largest in Italy. Access: from Campitello di Fassa via the Col Rodella cable car, then descending for 10 minutes along the path that leads to Sasso Piatto or from Passo Sella taking the Friedrich August path in 30 minutes you arrive at the refuge. Starting point: mountain station Ratschings-Jaufen (1.800m) The cable car Ratschings-Jaufen takes you from Bichl to the mountain station. From there you can hike along the Ratschinger Almenweg to the mountain pasture Wasserfalleralm and further on to the mountain hut Saxnerhütte. The Schgaguler Schwaige mountain hut, lying at 1905m near the mountain station of the Ortisei / Alpe di Siusi cable car, opened in 1991. The hut is easily reached regardless of the season, whether during a bike tour or hike in summer or as part of a ski tour or snowshoe hike in winter. The spacious terrace is perfect for an outdoor lunch and guests can head to the garden to relax and sunbathe in the deckchairs. There is a playground and a small petting zoo nearby, where rabbits, goats, ponies and even lamas look forward to a visit from the children. The rustic interior is in traditional rustic style and includes a Stube perfect for spending time in good company - often for longer than expected, especially in winter! The Oberwielenbach valley – the small family hiking paradise in the Pustertal. Enjoy home-made butter and the variety of delicious cheese and cake.

Starting point: mountain station Ratschings-Jaufen (1.800m) The cable car Ratschings-Jaufen takes you from Bichl to the mountain station. From there you can hike along the Ratschinger Almenweg to the mountain pasture Wasserfalleralm. Tip: roasted lamb, handmade and traditional Tyrolean starters, grey cheese and alpine butter, children’s playground, annual and traditional Wasserfaller Kirchtag

At the mountain restaurant Puflatsch, you can enjoy typical South Tyrolean Cuisine with its specialities such as 'Speckknödel mit Rindsgulasch', Schlutzkrapfen etc. During the summer, our large sun terrace is the right place for a well-earned rest and a cosy lunch or a South Tyrolean 'Marende' (snack). Or simply relax in the rustic ambience of our restaurant or our comfortable lounge.

At 1,700 m on the sea level at the foot of Latemar above the city of Predazzo, Gardoné offers you relax and culinary highlights with a wonderful view to the Lagorai Mountains. Both in summer and in winter time, the Gardoné is the perfect place to eat delicious creations, either Mediterranean or traditional, combined with a glass of wine, and to enjoy the sun and the music on the wide terrace. The mountain hut is easily reachable, both in summer and in winter, thanks to the lifts of the hike and Ski Centre Latemar Obereggen. If you are a sports-passionate, you can reach the Gardoné by skiing in wintertime, and hiking or mountain biking in summer time, following one of the marked paths or trails. You can arrive in the Gardoné from Obereggen, Pampeago and Predazzo. Hot food from 11:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m.

Welcome at the point of departure and arrival of exploratory tours of the Alpe di Siusi! The Huber Hut is located 50m below Compaccio and directly at the foot of the Dolomites. Quality is our top priority. Let yourself be surprised by our traditional dishes.

Opened daily from 11.30 a.m.! Naturally we serve you typical South Tyrolean dishes and specialties in the restaurant. Vegetarian and food on a biological basis are marked with corresponding symbols lactose and embers-free; to simplify your choice! Enjoy your leisuretime on our big sunroof or in the comfortable hut!

The newly constructed hut amidst the impressive Dolomites on 2.164 m, offers a beautiful sun terrace and a Tyrolean snuggery where you can enjoy delicious South Tyrolean food. You can reach the family managed hut from Ponticello over the hiking trail no. 4 (time required: ca. 2 1/2 hours), from Prato Piazza over the hiking trail no. 3 (time required: ca. 3-4 hours) or from the lake of Braies over the hiking trail no. 4 (time required: ca. 3 hours). In the winter time the Rossalm hut is open from the beginning of februray till the end of march!

The Dreischusterhütte hut offers every day typical regional dishes: amongst all the delicacies they suggest especially tasty dumplings with goulash, the Kaiserschmarrn with cranberries (Grantn) and the homemade "Äpfelkiachlan" with vanilla ice cream, the specialty of the house.

Near the ski lifts of Braies Vecchio/Altprags begins the way with the mark No. 15 to the Malga Putz/Putzalm. At the beginning you walk between green meadows. At approximately 1,600-m height the road breaks off to a path well marked in the wood. Walking time: 2 hours Sign-post: No. 15

The Keim family welcomes you warmly at the Ladurnerhütte, located in the middle of the ski and hiking area of Ladurns in the beautiful South Tyrol.

Starting point: Via Passo Giovo, park area Kalcheralm (1.790m) For those who prefer shorter hikes. First take the car to the Via Giovo – the starting point. From the large park area – signage Kalcheralm – you have to walk about 45 minutes to finally reach the mountain pasture Kalcheralm. From there you can also begin the Ratschinger Almenweg. Alternative: reachable also from the mountain station Ratschings-Jaufen in about 30 minutes. Tip: dishes of wild game, on the weekend Krapfen and the traditional dish “Blattler mit Kraut”, accessible by car, children’s playground, South Tyrolean beer from the brewery Antonius

Restaurant, Bar & Hofschank directly at the Speikboden skiing region. We serve local specialities and local dishes at an elevation of 1,350 m in the midst of the Speikboden skiing and hiking region with gorgeous views of the surrounding 3,000 m peaks. We offer fresh homegrown products; meat, fish (trout; please order in advance), vegetables, herbs, and jellies. Our restaurant Schüsslerhof is ideal for family celebrations, company festivities, and weddings. We will gladly reserve our restaurant for you. Group reservations can be arranged after regular business hours.

Overnight stay with or without breakfast possible. We make the dinner à la carte. There is also a marching tea! We are open for you from mid-June to the beginning of October.

A unique place and a unique hut. Enjoy southtyrolian cusin, mediterranean plates and local meat from the grill in the elegant alpin restaurant. The right wine reccomanded by the sommelier.

During october open on friday, saturday and sunday. (coming from Vipiteno) Once in Vipiteno continue in the direction of Brennero along the state road (SS12). After about 4 km you reach Colle Isarco. Stay and continue along the state road (SS12) towards Brennero for about 3Km (4min). After 3km you come across a hairpin bend to the right and another to the left. When you reach the hairpin turn to the left, you will see the motorway exit on the right. Next to the exit, take a small paved road and follow it for about 800m. Once you reach the parking lot, continue on foot along the unpaved forest road. 5 sleeping places (on request).

Our chef will delight you with amazing and unexpected flavors. His philosophy is to cook healthfully and to create light and astonishing dishes. He only uses high-quality products and he will satisfy even the most sophisticated palates.

The Malga Laranzer Schwaige is situated in 1925 m at Saltria near the station on top of the Floralpina skilift. The Hans & Paula Steger Path, which leads you from Compatsch via meadow and alpine places to Saltria, passes directly the Malga Laranzer Schwaige. The panoramic view to Saltria, the Lang- and Plattkofel and the mountains of Val Gardena is wonderful!

The Waldhütte is located in the Ratschings-Jaufen ski area right next to the mountain station. It can be reached in winter via the mountain railway Ratschings-Jaufen. In summer the forest hut is closed.

Enjoy culinary delights in a rustic atmosphere! Our hut is reachable easily (also with baby strollers or mountain bikes).

In the winter our hut is a popular destination for winter hiking, snow shoe hiking and ski touring and besides our hut is located on the sunny cross-country track Kasern/Casere.
