    Pleasure on the mountain

    It tastes even better at high altitude: South Tyrolean cuisine is characterized by rural down-to-earthness and Mediterranean lightness.     Near the ski lifts of Braies Vecchio/Altprags begins the way with the mark No. 15 to the Malga Putz/Putzalm. At the beginning you walk between green meadows. At approximately 1,600-m height the road breaks off to a path well marked in the wood. Walking time: 2 hours Sign-post: No. 15 In the winter time the Putzalm hut is closed!

    The Bacherhütte is an ideal finish after a calm hike with the family. Open from mid May to end of October and from the beginnings of Dicember to Easter. You can reach the Bacherhütte from the parking lot Gitschberg in about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

    The perfect winter hiking trail for the whole family: on foot, with the toboggan or with the touring ski. From Weißenbach/Rio Bianco the walking time is approx. 1 hour (toboggan run “Tristenbach”).

    Enjoy traditional and local dishes and the beautiful view from our panoramic-sun-terrace. From Weißenbach/Rio Bianco we are easily reachable in an approx. 20 minute walk. The trail is also suitable for baby strollers.There is a large sandbox for the children. Our hut is also reachable by mountainbike.

    In the cold season a prepared winter hiking trail, a cross country track and a toboggan run – which are also illuminated - lead to our hut.

    For groups of 8 or more people - open in the evenings by reservation.

    Starting point: valley head Ridanna – Masseria (1.417m) The starting point for this hike is the valley head of Ridanna. Follow the trail no. 28 over a wide path, past the ore processing facility of the mine. The signs to the Stadlalm lead through the beautiful forest of the Lazzacher valley. At the fork turn right to the mountain pasture Stadlalm. Alternative 1: reachable also over the nature trail of the Mining Museum. Alternative 2: circuit cross the panoramic platform Hoher Nock with a 360° panorama view

The restaurant places the emphasis on Tyrolean specialities.
