On the tracks of the biathlon elite: Come and experience the excitement of this large sports venue that has already hosted numerous international competitions. Take a closer look at the technical and functional rooms, the entire administration building and the spectator stands in more detail. We tell you exciting stories and give you interesting facts about the Südtirol Arena and not to be missed: we will also take a look at Antholz 2026. A film about biathlon rounds off your knowledge of the sport. Finally you can feel like an elite Biathlete and try out biathlon shooting: put your marksmanship to the test with five shots. Guided tours of the biathlon stadium including biathlon shooting at realistic small-bore conditions are scheduled twice a week from June to October in German language. On the historical tour with Mrs Theresia, you will learn all kinds of interesting facts about the construction and special features of the legendary 13th century church. Did you know? From the church you have a unique view of Meran and the surrounding area. Local history tells that one of the oldest Baptist churches of the surroundings was rising on this beautiful square. Today, the Parish Church stands on an even older site dating back to the preromanesque period (lombard-carolingian architecture) and is one of the rare examples of a cross-domed church with central nave and side naves.

The Lechtl Mountain Farm ATTENTION: currently, the tour is only offered in German. Lechtl – A Mountain Farm Steeped in History on the Sonnenberg in the Venosta Valley  During this guided tour, we learn how living and working on the mountain farms has changed over the years, and how the great events of world history have impacted even the most remote corners of the Alps. Led by a member of the Theiner family from the local Lechtlhof farm, we embark on a journey into the past - while also learning about the present-day challenges faced by this mountain farming community. Discover the story of the South Tyrolean apple in Meran/Merano! This apple tour of Merano's fruit cooperative CAFA will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about our local fruit. After a short introductory film you can explore the entire cooperative in the company of our apple experts and follow the storage, sorting, packaging and shipping of the South Tyrolean apple. Our apple expert will let you in on all kinds of secrets about our apples' goodness, the varieties and how best to store them at home. To round off the tour there is a brief apple tasting session. Under expert guidance, you will learn how our beer "Martinsbräu" is brewed and you can visit the brewhouse, the heart of every brewery, the fermentation and storage cellar, the malt tower and the bottling plant. Along the way, our different types of beer will be tasted and explained.

We would like to introduce you in the historical wine-production area Alto Adige and take you behind the scenes of Kellerei Bozen with its must-see architectural highlights. You'll visit one of our vineyards (weather permitting) before being taken through the winery to see the wine-making process. The tour includes the tasting of 7 wines, some samples of our very best award-winning wines of the available vintage. Wines availability might change during the year. Our tours last for approximately 2 – 2,5 hours.

Discover together with us our wines and the philosophy of our Winery. Authentic - familiar - unique. On request, the tasting can be organised with a focus on Chardonnay (4 wines), Pinot Nero (5 wines) or autochthonous grape varieties (7 wines). This involves tasting a comparison of different lines/variants of the same grape variety or autochthonous grape varieties.

First there is a visit to the quaint little sheep's wool museum, followed by a round of handicrafts: we felt little figures to take home - and Helene has a lot to tell, about past and present.

Once the weapons for the Castle Karneid|Cornedo were forged here. Today, wines with a strong character are produced here. And they play by the rules of nature. You can learn more secrets about the Pitzner winery and the special philosophy of the two young winemakers during a guided tour of the farm followed by a wine tasting. The bearded vulture has its breeding ground in specific parts of the Stelvio National Park. If breeding takes place again this year, a young bird can be observed from a respectful distance as part of a guided hike with partner hiking guides from the national park. With our hiking guide Helmuth we start at the village square in Laion and hike over the Walther from the Vogelweide trail towards Novale. We visit some stations about its history and make a short detour to the birthplace of the famous Minnesinger. Arriving at the Castle Forte, we visit the former home of Oswald von Wolkenstein, one of the most impressive castle complexes in South Tyrol. On this organised cultural e-bike tour, learn of the strange and sad story marked by the sunken church tower of the former village of Curon/Graun submerged beneath the lake waters. The small 14 th Century Romanesque church bears silent testimony to the damming up of the artificial lake shortly after the end of the Second World War. The former military bunkers are another leftover of the interwar period. Visit the bunker at the source of the Etsch river, with a local guide to explain the history of South Tyrol. Duration: 5 h Meeting point: Curon/Graun car park, in front of the church tower protruding from the lake (time: 9.30 am)

A collection of the traditional costume "Rittner Tracht" from the 18th century to the present day. On Wednesdays and Fridays from 4–6 p.m. in the historic Commandery Lengmoos. Last entry: 5.30 p.m., Admission: € 4, free with RittenCard. The traditional costume has a long tradition on the Ritten/Renon, which is still cultivated by associations and organisations today. It is very important for us to preserve this living cultural asset for the future and make it accessible to a broad public.

At the time, all across the region, pilgrim hospices were built to cater to pilgrims on their journey to Rome and provide for the poor. And so, a hospice was erected at the Saint Ulrich Pass in Lengmoos
