You will discover with us the world of South Tyrol's sparkling wines. During a guided cellar tour we will tell you the details of the production cycle and throughout the wine tasting you will be able to enjoy the finesse and elegance of our mountain pearls.

What exactly is sustainable winegrowing? During a guided tour through the small vineyard, you learn about the ecology of vineyards. You gain an insight into how wine is produced sustainably, from planting and managing the vineyard to processing the grapes and reaching the final quality of the wine. The guided tour finishes with a wine tasting of Messnerhof wines. Duration: about 1.5 hours. Minimum number of participants: 6.

Discover together with us our wines and the philosophy of our Winery. Authentic - familiar - unique. On request, the tasting can be organised with a focus on Chardonnay (4 wines), Pinot Nero ( wines) or autochthonous grape varieties (7 wines). This involves tasting a comparison of different lines/variants of the same grape variety or autochthonous grape varieties.

Join the Luggin family in Lasa/Lass and discover the Kandlwaalhof organic farm where first-grade fruit and herbs grow in temperate conditions at an elevation of 900 m. The Bee Trail in Trens Freienfeld is a varied and educational themed hike for the whole family. On this peaceful and adventurous walk, you'll learn all sorts of interesting facts about bees, the creation, and processing of honey, and other bee products such as beeswax, pollen, propolis, and more. At the exploration and observation beehive, you can explore the inner workings of a beehive and learn about the processing of honey and other honey products. Possible with stroller; no risk of bee stings. Tasting of honey at the observation beehive is seasonal. Afterwards, there will be a small tasting at the Hotel Post in Trens. The tour begins in the grain store of Steinhaus, the former warehouse of the mining industry. Afterwards, our guides will lead you through the historic centre of Steinhaus, a unique sight in South Tyrol that was created thanks to the mining industry. The striking red houses, such as the factor house, the Gassegg residence and the church Maria Loreto, as well as the smelting hut are explained. A walk through the centuries old history of the "Ahrner Handel".

This farm tour is a great opportunity to explore rural life in South Tyrol and learn all about the animals living on the farm. The castle of Karneid stands imposingly above the Eggental Valley gorge and is the symbol of the municipality of Karneid | Cornedo. It was built around 1200 by the Lords of Greifenstein and is one of the best-preserved castles in the region, which has largely retained its late medieval appearance. Particularly impressive are - the excellently preserved ensemble of a medieval castle complex - the optimal use of the building site for the construction of defence, residential and farm buildings - the interesting rooms inside, especially the restored room in the northern, old palace wing and the rooms with partial or complete wood panelling, some of which are still in use today - the castle chapel with some well-preserved frescoes Although the castle is privately owned, it can be visited on certain dates as part of an expert guided tour. Since the time of the Romans, wine has been cultivated on the sunny slopes of the Wipptal. Today, 2000 years later, there are once again some pioneers who utilize the milder climate for viticulture. Peter Faistnauer is one of them; he operates the first winery in the Wipptal. Since 2015, he has been cultivating the white wine variety Solaris. After visiting the vineyards, the special wine will be tasted in the old barn. Dogs are not allowed. It is not possible to navigate the paths with a stroller, and the entire tour is not wheelchair accessible. Gala, Kanzi, Fuji, Red Delicious – these illustrious names represent four of the total of 18 varieties of apple that flourish in the sunny orchards tended by South Tyrol's farmers. Crisp, juicy and fresh, famed as a vitamin bomb and popular well beyond the borders of the region, there is plenty to learn about the South Tyrolean apple. Did you know, for example, that the apple originally came from Kazakhstan? Or that one in three of all organic apples harvested in Europe comes from South Tyrol? Together with apple grower Christine we set out on a journey of discovery through the local apple orchards. Our charming and knowledgeable guide shares plenty of interesting and curious facts about the apple growing industry in South Tyrol, about organic and integrated cultivation, the different varieties, the ingenious methods of naturally-derived plant protection and the protected designation of geographical origin. During the subsequent tasting of the different apple varieties participants can enjoy talking shop about the apples’ flavours and textures and their personal favourites.
