On Sunday, November 30th, the Peter Mitterhofer Typewriter Museum will host an Open House from 10 AM to 6 PM in celebration of the Partschins Advent Market.

On this special guided tour, we will immerse ourselves in the rich world of traditions and stories surrounding Advent and Christmas in Brixen. Amid sweet delicacies, enchanting scents, and sparkling lights, we will meet fascinating protagonists of this festive season. At the same time, we will explore some of the city’s unique highlights, including the majestic White Tower. The tour concludes atmospherically with a glass of mulled wine at the Christmas Market. St Nicholas procession with little Krampuses in Lana. The idea of taking away the fear of Krampus from the youngest children in our village at an early age bore great fruit last year. St. Nicholas will parade through the Gries with his little entourage on 6 December and distribute his gifts to the children at the Thalerhof, from the Capuchin church in Lana at 5.00 pm.

Note: The hike is only in German and Italian. Ski tour for beginners and slightly advanced skiers accompanied by a mountain guide. Descent on skis from the mountain station Grawand to an altitude of around 2,700 meters. From this point you start the ascent in the open terrain, which, depending on the conditions, brings the group to 3,100 m (glacier terrain). After a short rest, a descent in soft powder awaits you. The prepared valley run takes you back to the starting point of the tour to Maso Corto/Kurzras. In the case of bad weather, the tour will start from Maso Corto/Kurzras. You will hear historical and current facts about Marling and one or two Christmas stories on the evening lantern walk through the village center of Marling. You will be accompanied by our local guide Johanna. After the evening walk, you’ll be welcomed at the pavilion in Marling with sweet pastries, a glass of Marling wine, or a refreshing South Tyrolean apple juice, the perfect way to conclude a unforgettable evening. Group ascent with the Schnalstal Valley Glacier Cable Car to 3,200 metres. We’ll cross the Hochjochferner accompanied by a mountain guide, experience the glacier in all its beauty, and learn many interesting and historical things. At the end of the glacier there is an ice cave at 2,800 m. After exploring the cave and taking a rest in this solitary alpine world, the path continues to the Schöne Aussicht Refuge and afterwards we descend to the Teufelsegghütte Mountain Hut. Enjoy the winter sunrise!

With the cablecar Speikboden and the chairlift Sonnklar it goes up to 2.400m in the early morning, right in the middle of the Ahrntal mountains. Once arrived at the top, you have the opportunity to hike to the Sonnklar Cross, which is only 10 minutes away, or you can enjoy the first sunrays directly at the panoramic tower.

The restaurant Sonnklar and the Schüsslerhof offer you a breakfast afterwards - registration for the breakfast required!

For the first track on the slopes, it can be used the cablecar Speikboden, the conveyor belt "Tottomandl" and the chairlift Sonnklar during continuous opening hours. No special ticket is necessary for this, all regular lift tickets are valid (which can be booked online or purchased at the ticket office even on the day of the special ride). All other lifts will open at 08.30 am.
