Learn all the steps in the production from milk to cheese. You are also welcome to lend a hand in the production of cheese. Master brewer Götz Spieht will introduce you to the world of beer brewing and tell you everything you need to know about beer. Afterwards, you will taste the chestnut beer together and learn how it harmonises perfectly with chocolate and cheese during food pairing.

The ingredients are all there for a spectacular autumn in the castles and manors of the Alto Adige Wine Road. Several prestigious concerts, combined with the excellent wines of this territory, will be held in the ancient walls of the towns that unfold on one of Europe's most beautiful wine routes. From the 20th of October to the 5th of November 2023 local wines, the stories behind their production and great music will be the protagonists of the first edition of WineSounds on the Alto Adige Wine Road. The entrance includes the musical performance and the chance to taste and enjoy a beautiful selection of wines in unique locations. An initiative of the Alto Adige Wine Road in collaboration with the Tourist Associations of Nalles, Andriano, Terlano, Appiano, Caldaro al Lago, Termeno, Bassa Atesina, Castelfeder and Laives Bronzolo Vadena as well as the Tourist Board Bolzano. Our Program in Tramin WineSounds on the Alto Adige Wine Road - at Ansitz of Elena Walch Winery On October 28th, we invite you to the Wine Sounds event at the Ansitz of Elena Walch Winery at 10:30 AM. The historic winery of Elena Walch will open its doors to the concert attendees. After the final notes of the woodwind quintet "LIGNUN" have faded away in the historically significant courtyard, with a view of the picturesque mountain scenery, we will take you on a journey of discovery through our wine cellars. Today, in the former Jesuit monastery, using both traditional and avant-garde techniques, Elena Walch creates her multi-award-winning wines. The charming contrast between intricately carved wooden barrels and the highly modern fermentation cellar with its architectural highlights perfectly reflects our identity and versatility. Following the concert, there will be a tasting of four selected wines in the estate's park, where you'll have the opportunity to experience it for yourself! You love apples, but have never thought about who is behind the juicy-sweet vitamin bombs? Then a guided apple tour through the orchards is just the thing for you. Our apple farmer accompanies you through the apple meadows and tells you interesting facts about the diverse fruit. Afterwards, farmers Gitti and Sepp will make, bake and, of course, taste Apfelkiachl (apple fritters). Walking time: ca. 1.5 hours | Difference in altitude: ca. 100 m The event will be in German.

From the farm museum participants walk to the Bildheim, where Martha Lochmann passes on her knowledge about seeds. At the Roacherhof the participants learn curious things about the chestnut. Next to Stettnerhof there are interesting facts about wine and apples and a rural 3-course menu. Included: lunch with drinks, tomato and potato tasting, roasted chestnuts. Guided "Törggele" hike with guide Helena Graf, with a stop at the traditional farm "Peintnerhof" and a cosy get-together in the "Stube". Meeting point: 10.00 am Tourist Office Feldthurns, return: around 4.00 pm. Walking time: 2 - 2.5 hours, easy hike. Minimum number of participants: 2 persons, free hike for guests of member accommodation, otherwise € 10.00 per person (excl. consumption).

According to the motto "Someone always spins", the Spinnradl has been processing local sheep's wool since 1948 and creating special cardigans that are completely customised to the individual needs of the customer. Owner Franz will guide you through the workshops, where you will experience the old craft at first hand, from washing the wool to carding, spinning, knitting and sewing the jackets. After an introduction to the craft, you can give free rein to your own creativity with felting. At the end, a tasting of regional delicacies awaits you at Spezialitäten Pamer. The event will be in German and Italian.

Guided tour through the apple meadows in Lana (with reservation). Our farmer will guide you through their fields, explains you about the healthy ingredients, the production area and about all sorts and brands of the South Tyrolean apple. Gain insight into the secrets of the apple farmers - from the latest technology of today and the gnarled giants of the past. Afterwards, you can taste for yourself.

Short hike with guided tour through the chestnut groves of the "Mair am Turm" farm in Grissiano. In front of the historic farm chestnuts are roasted and tasted. After that the hike goes back to the Schmiedlhof (tavern), where a "Marende" is served and enjoyed.

During a guided exploratory walk through the vineyards with winegrower Michl, you will learn everything you need to know about wine: from its history, to care measures, varieties and marketing. At the end of the exploration you can taste South Tyrolean wines and specialties and thus get to know the aromas and tastes of the region. More than 60 vintage tractors, including 40 "Porsche-Diesel" tractors and 5 Porsche-Diesel Master tractors from various years of construction, can be viewed in the tractor museum. The oldest piece in the collection is a "Balilla" tractor dating from 1929. An experience for young and old! Please note: the guided tour is only available in German and Italian!

Discover the secrets of wine on a hike through the vineyards above St. Martin/ S. Martino. During the discovery hike you will learn about the history of the Passir winery, the work of the winegrowers and you can taste the Solaris and Kerner wines that grow there. Have you ever wondered what stories and traditions are hidden behind the facades of our village of St. Leonhard/S. Leonardo? On a guided hike through the village centre, you'll delve deep into the history of the village. The tour takes you from the historic village bridge to the MuseumPasseier. A guided tour of the "Heroes and Hofer" exhibition awaits you there. Come and delve into a real-life wine experience at the bio farm Rielinger. The wine farmer will give you a tour of the vineyard, explaining the different grapes and their cultivation. We cultivate the white wine varieties Blatterle, Müller Thurgau, Kerner and Riesling as well as the red wines Schiava and Zweigelt. After the vineyard tour you’ll hit the cellar where we show you how the wine is fermented and aged. At the end of the tour of course you may taste our in-house wines. ONLY IN GERMAN LANGUAGE! We take a taxi to the Hofer sawmill, and from there we hike together to the hunting lodge in the Schenna hunting area. With binoculars and a spotting scope, we then set out to observe deer, chamois, and ibex. Afterwards, we will have a hunter’s breakfast together.
