Exhibition Daniela Atzwanger
The works exhibited by the artist explore the connection between emotions, experiences, and their symbolic reflection in reality, illustrating how emotions themselves are perceived, processed, and artistically transformed into new forms. They also address fundamental themes of the human condition, such as fear and hope, dream and awareness, relationships and solitude. This polarity is reflected in the composition of the background, which often contrasts with the organic subject through subtle tones and geometric shapes. The clearly defined figures express a very free and at times bold chromatic concept, while various color application techniques give rise to patterns and graphic forms. The viewer’s imagination is stimulated by delicate symbols, allowing the works to resonate in reality as visual echoes.
Daniela Atzwanger, born in 1977 in Brunico, studied graphic design in Bressanone and educational sciences and politics in Innsbruck. Since 2006, she has exhibited in South Tyrol, Hangzhou (China), and Venice. She lives and works in Bolzano. Unforgettable hike on the bright side of Barbian. We guide you through the colorfulness of fall past vineyards, fruit trees and chestnut trees. Meeting point at 10am at the Information Office Barbian. Hiking time: 3,5 hours, stop at the restaurant "Oberweger/Kollmsnn". Return at 4pm, easy to medium hike, good footwear, rain shelter. Juval Castle Tour (39 km, 700 m elevation gain) The impressive Juval Castle Tour stretches over 39 kilometers and 700 meters of elevation gain, offering not only physical activity but also cultural and culinary highlights. The starting point is Algund. An experienced bike guide first leads us through a panoramic landscape to Töll. The route then continues along the Apple Road through blossoming orchards to Naturns and further towards Staben. Already during the ride, we enjoy a magnificent view up to the Juval Caslte, the famous castle of Reinhold Messner, which today houses a fascinating collection of Tibetan art and mountaineering history. We follow the bike path until the resting place (just before Staben) and then turn right at the wooden bridge towards the State Road and the Vinschgau Farmers' Store. After crossing the State Road, we need to pedal a bit more. However, with some stamina, we finally reach The Juval Castle, our destination for the day. Here, we will visit the castle and then take a delightful lunch break at a nearby inn. Rejuvenated, we begin the return journey to the starting point, Algund. The varied landscape and cultural attractions make this bike tour an unforgettable experience for nature enthusiasts who wish to actively explore the beauty of South Tyrol. This tour is ideal for experienced cyclists with a good basic level of fitness.

You love apples, but have never thought about who is behind the juicy-sweet vitamin bombs? Then a guided apple tour through the orchards is just the thing for you. Our apple farmer accompanies you through the apple meadows and tells you interesting facts about the diverse fruit. Afterwards, farmers Gitti and Sepp will make, bake and, of course, taste Apfelkiachl (apple fritters). From the centre of Barbiano/Eisacktal we hike in the direction of the ‘Trimm Dich Weg’, past the sports zone to ‘Bad Dreikirchen’, with its three unique chapels built next to each other. We walk along the easy forest path to the ‘Briol’ inn and on to the upper (45 m high) and lower waterfall (85 m high), the highest point of the hike. Now it's downhill and back to the starting point. THE GUIDE IN THE BUS SPEAKS GERMAN AND ITALIAN! Immerse yourself in the extraordinary beauty of the Dolomites during our grand tour! We start our bus journey in Schenna and head towards Val Gardena. From there, the route takes us through the Gardena Pass to Corvara and then to the Campolongo Pass. Along the way, we enjoy spectacular views of the majestic mountain peaks. Our journey continues to Arabba and through the Pordoi Pass, and finally past the Karer Pass back to Schenna.

A film about biathlon rounds off your knowledge of the sport. Finally you can feel like an elite Biathlete and try out biathlon shooting: put your marksmanship to the test with five shots. Guided tours of the biathlon stadium including biathlon shooting at realistic small-bore conditions are scheduled twice a week from June to October in German language.
