The ingredients are all there for a spectacular autumn in the castles and manors of the Alto Adige Wine Road. Several prestigious concerts, combined with the excellent wines of this territory, will be held in the ancient walls of the towns that unfold on one of Europe's most beautiful wine routes. The stories behind their production and great music will be the protagonists of the third edition of WineSounds on the Alto Adige Wine Road. The entrance includes the musical performance and the chance to taste and enjoy a beautiful selection of wines in unique locations. An initiative of the Alto Adige Wine Road in collaboration with the Tourist Associations of Nalles, Andriano, Terlano, Appiano, Caldaro al Lago, Termeno, Bassa Atesina, Castelfeder and Laives Bronzolo Vadena as well as the Tourist Board Bolzano. Our Program in Tramin WineSounds on the Alto Adige Wine Road - at Ansitz of Elena Walch Winery On October 25th, we invite you to the Wine Sounds event at the Ansitz of Elena Walch Winery at 10:30 AM. The historic winery of Elena Walch will open its doors to the concert attendees. After the final notes have faded away in the historically significant courtyard, with a view of the picturesque mountain scenery, we will take you on a journey of discovery through our wine cellars. Today, in the former Jesuit monastery, using both traditional and avant-garde techniques, Elena Walch creates her multi-award-winning wines. The charming contrast between intricately carved wooden barrels and the highly modern fermentation cellar with its architectural highlights perfectly reflects our identity and versatility. Following the concert, there will be a tasting of selected wines in the estate's park, where you'll have the opportunity to experience it for yourself!

Von Mitterplars folgen wir dem alten Burgweg, der früher zum Schloss Tirol geführt hat, durch die Weingärten hinauf zum Café Konrad, wandern ein kleines Stück auf dem Algunder Waalweg in Richtung Vinschgau und zweigen bald auf den Großen Schlundensteinweg ab. Dieser führt uns mäßig steil zum schönen Ort Vellau. Neben der Bergstation des Sesselliftes kehren wir in einem gemütlichen Lokal zur Stärkung ein und genießen den Blick in den Vinschgau. On Sunday, November 30th, the Peter Mitterhofer Typewriter Museum will host an Open House from 10 AM to 6 PM in celebration of the Partschins Advent Market.

St Nicholas procession with little Krampuses in Lana. The idea of taking away the fear of Krampus from the youngest children in our village at an early age bore great fruit last year. St. Nicholas will parade through the Gries with his little entourage on 6 December and distribute his gifts to the children at the Thalerhof, from the Capuchin church in Lana at 5.00 pm.

You will hear historical and current facts about Marling and one or two Christmas stories on the evening lantern walk through the village center of Marling. You will be accompanied by our local guide Johanna. After the evening walk, you’ll be welcomed at the pavilion in Marling with sweet pastries, a glass of Marling wine, or a refreshing South Tyrolean apple juice, the perfect way to conclude a unforgettable evening.
