Hiking guide Arnold accompanies you on this route, telling you exciting stories about the historic waterways and the local flora and fauna along the way. A highlight of the hike is a stop at the Schiefer fish farm. During a guided tour of the facility, you will learn all about sustainable fish farming and the careful processing of the farmed fish. DAKSY'S NATURE WORKSHOP for children from 6 to 12 years This summer, the Visito Center of Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park is once again organizing programmes for children every Friday afternoon to deepen their knowledge of plants, animals and geology, ... - each week the focus is on a new topic that we will explore together.

Which bird sings here? Which birds live in Silandro/Schlanders and the surrounding area? Our bird expert will accompany you and tell you lots of interesting facts about the local birds, their way of life, food, etc.

From Tschengls we walk gently uphill to the Standlairhof farm. From there, we walk past St. Ottilia and along a beautiful field path back to Tschengls. In addition to various copses and forest trees, we will encounter a wide variety of well-known and lesser-known meadow and wayside plants such as celandine, rock cinquefoil, deadnettle, spiky St. Christopher's wort and woolly buttercup. "Anima Periferica" is conceived as a photographic journey through various peripheral areas of Italy – the so-called aree periferiche ed ultraperiferiche – far from the major urban centers. The project explores the aesthetic and social dimensions of the periphery, searching for what exists in places where seemingly "nothing" is to be found. In the former Piazzi store in Niederlana, the photographs from Emilia-Romagna by Federico Campana and the poetic-narrative texts by Cornelia Schöpf engage with the question of what happens to public space when it loses its basic structures – shops and local businesses. The opening on Saturday, May 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm will feature a music performance by the Lab Elettroacustico from the A. Vivaldi Music School, based on the works of John Cage.

In the second half of the 19th century, running a business, practicing a skilled trade, or, least of all, being an alpinist was far from easy if you were a woman. The period between 1865 and 1914 saw numerous wives of photographers active in mountaineering and mountain photography, and it would not be possible to include them all in this exhibition. Instead, four women photographers were selected to represent the group in this exhibition. Among them, Elizabeth Whitshed Main takes a special place as an outstanding photographer, alpinist, and the founder of winter alpinism in general and winter tourism in the region of Engadin, Switzerland, in particular. The exhibition also features works by Gertrude Bell, Eleonore Noll-Hasenclever, and Una Cameron, three distinguished alpinists, travel journalists, and women’s rights activists. The International Museum Day 2025 will take place in South Tyrol on Sunday, 18 May 2025. In our village museum in Tramin you can expect an exhibition of Roman burial finds as well as a video about the excavations from Tramin which were found in 2020 in the location ‘Im Bad’ in Tramin. The museum is open from 10 am - 6 pm. Free admission and a special programme. The event is organised worldwide by ICOM - International Council of Museums - to raise awareness of the social and cultural role of museums among the general public. As part of the International Museum Day event, several museums and exhibition venues in South Tyrol will be offering free admission and a special programme.

We take the cable car to Vöran and start the hike to the Eggerhof and from there a gentle climb to the Knottnkino, where a true ‘natural spectacle’ with a wonderful mountain panorama awaits us. We continue along a leisurely path to the ‘Brugger Weiher’ and the Leadneralm. After refreshments, we return to the cable car and glide down into the valley to Burgstall. Our fruit farmer will accompany you and tell you everything you need to know about this diverse fruit. As a culinary conclusion, you can expect a tasting of delicious apples and apple juice. Guided Biketour - Meran 360° Our 360º tour through the Etsch Valley starts in Algund. From there we ride towards Gratsch and then to the Segenbühel viewing point from where we then head towards Merano. Taking several side roads we reach the cycle track leading to Bolzano. At Gargazon we leave the cycle track and reach the fabulous Brandis golf course, from where we pedal towards Tscherms. At Tscherms we ride uphill towards Lebenberg Castle, where we can look forward to a wonderful view of the Burggrafenamt region. At the Haidenhof inn we take a well-deserved break. A lovely scenic road takes us to Marling and then we return along Nörderstrasse to our starting point in Algund. We do 42 km and 700m of elevation gain

From there, the route takes us through the Gardena Pass to Corvara and then to the Campolongo Pass. Along the way, we enjoy spectacular views of the majestic mountain peaks. Our journey continues to Arabba and through the Pordoi Pass, and finally past the Karer Pass back to Schenna.

On the tracks of the biathlon elite: Come and experience the excitement of this large sports venue that has already hosted numerous international competitions. Take a closer look at the technical and functional rooms, the entire administration building and the spectator stands in more detail. We tell you exciting stories and give you interesting facts about the Südtirol Arena and not to be missed: we will also take a look at Antholz 2026. A film about biathlon rounds off your knowledge of the sport. Finally you can feel like an elite Biathlete and try out biathlon shooting: put your marksmanship to the test with five shots. Guided tours of the biathlon stadium including biathlon shooting at realistic small-bore conditions are scheduled twice a week from June to October in German language. And above all, what is it that makes organic cheese so special? Let farmerwoman Anna answer all these questions and learn more interesting information about the fascinating farm day, organic animal husbandry and the farm's sustainable vision.
