Let's celebrate the power of dance and the magic of movement together! With an event that is unique for Bolzano – and even for Italy. Inspired by the famous 1 km de danse of the Centre National de la Danse in France, ExtraDanza will spread as a joyful wave on the banks of the Talvera/Talfer, creating a mosaic of movement, emotion and color. Dancers, interested people, dance enthusiasts and passers-by as well as teachers and workshop participants are invited to celebrate the diversity of dance and dance styles in all its facets on this open-air stage. Three stations invite you on a journey through the languages of dance: some styles such as Lindy Hop, Pop, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern Taylor or Flamenco will be presented, enriched by inputs from the local dance scenes. This celebration of dance concludes with a stunning performance. Let's be inspired by the vibe of this day! A tribute to the “Rocket Man”

The Elton Show is a celebration of Elton John’s greatest hits performed by international singer-songwriter C.J. Marvin.

For millions of us, Elton’s Grammy-award winning songs have formed a part of the soundtrack of our lives over the changing decades. Together with his flamboyant style and dynamic performances, he has become a legend in the world of pop music.

The show covers 4 decades of incredible music, from the 70’s up to the present day, featuring many of Elton’s greatest hits; from the timeless Your Song and rockers like SaturdayNight’s All Right for Fighting , through I’m Still Standing and Can you feel the love tonight? , to the latest tunes from The Captain & the Kid hit album.

The Elton Show captures the essence of Elton John and together with his live band and backing singers, when C.J. sings you would think it was Elton himself!

Back in 1984 C.J. was personally invited to Elton’s Milan shows at the Teatro-Tenda Palatrussardi. Whilst waiting for the limousines in the hotel lobby together with Elton & the Band, C.J. sat down at the grand piano and started playing around with bits and pieces of some of Elton’s songs. After hearing the young C.J. Marvin’s impromptu performance, Elton remarked: “You are the best me I ever heard!”

The Elton Show is a spectacularly entertaining evening and an affectionate salute to the music and energy of the Rocket Man.

From saturday til sunday the traditional summer festivity of the ASV Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente takes place. Food, drinks and entertainment are well provided.

The chalet is located on the high plateau Prato Piazza (2.000m) in the midst of the nature park Fanes-Sennes-Braies. You can easily reach it by foot starting from the parking area an Prato Piazza. Their delicious food is made of typical local products with music. A highlight for kids is the small playground and the petting zoo.

Six female voices in dialogue between jazz, sacred music, and folk music in the Lengmoos Commandery at 8.30 p.m. Entrance € 15, RittenCard € 12, student € 5. The vocal ensemble project "Daham" was initiated by Katharina Kurz and consists of six singers from North and South Tyrol, who interpret works specifically composed for the project. Musically, the program offers a multifaceted evening with influences from jazz, dialect lyrics inspired by folk music, as well as space for new ideas. The music brings to life images from nature, everyday life, and personal relationships, creating an atmosphere in which the audience can feel at home. The concert experience "Daham" takes listeners on a journey through the mountains, tells of the "seelige Tag" (blissful day), hopes for beautiful times "für ewi" (forever), and describes what "Daham" (home) can feel like. Concert as part of the Badiamusica Festival with Duo Enßle-Lamprecht. Virtuoso, unconventional, and full of joy in playing – this is how Anne Suse-Enßle (recorder) and Philipp Lamprecht (percussion) present themselves to their audience. With a seemingly inexhaustible selection of various recorder and percussion instruments, the duo focuses on the latest contemporary music as well as music from the Middle Ages. For today, they have prepared something truly special: the concert begins in the beautiful little church of Santa Berbura with calm, meditative music, and then continues in the freshly renovated Ostaria Pider with livelier and more cheerful music. This summer, visitors to Rosskopf can look forward to a truly extraordinary experience: sunrise concerts with a mountain breakfast at the Wishing Bell. In the magical atmosphere of early morning, guests are treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the Stubai Alps. The adventure begins in the early hours, with the cable car transporting you from Sterzing to 1,860 metres above sea level. From there, accompanied by a hiking guide, you’ll ascend the final 350 metres on foot to the “Köpfl” to witness the sunrise over the Zillertal Alps and the Dolomites in the east. At the Wishing Bell, the sunrise concert welcomes the first rays of the new day in a magical atmosphere. A regional mountain breakfast completes the experience. Served high up at 2,120 meters, it is without doubt a truly unique highlight! A total of four concerts offer a great variety. The sunrise concerts begin on 27th of July with a performance by the civic chapel of Sterzing. The band "Elviras Kiss" will follow on 06 th of August, followed the band "Timbreroots" on the 10th August, Jimi Henndreck" on the 27th of August 2025. The South Tyrolean capital of Bolzano, recently designated a UNESCO Creative City of Music, is once again preparing to host one of Europe’s most prestigious cultural events in the summer of 2025: the Bolzano Festival Bozen. Each year, the festival brings together exceptional creative talents, as students from top international music academies collaborate with world-class soloists and conductors to present concerts of the highest artistic quality. Throughout the city, the air is filled with the energy of discovery and shared passion for classical music. Bolzano Festival Bozen is more than a series of concerts – it is a unique cultural platform that unites four key components of the city’s musical identity: the Antiqua Festival of Early Music, the Gustav Mahler Academy, the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition, and the two prestigious youth orchestras-in-residence, the European Union Youth Orchestra and the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra. Founded by Claudio Abbado, these ensembles symbolize a shared European vision and have found their summer home in Bolzano. The festival offers a rich and diverse program, where young talent and legendary musicians come together to rehearse, perform, and inspire. Among the highlights of the 2025 edition are the final rounds of the renowned Ferruccio Busoni Piano Competition, a performance by Sir John Eliot Gardiner with the Mahler Academy Orchestra as they explore the authentic soundscapes of early 20th-century music, and the celebrated cellist Pablo Ferrández – often referred to as “the new Yo-Yo Ma” – performing with the European Union Youth Orchestra under the baton of Vasily Petrenko. For a festival whose founding motto is “music and youth,” it’s only natural that children and young audiences are not just welcomed, but encouraged to attend. In 2025, the festival’s family-friendly offerings are being expanded even further. Children are often far more open to classical music than one might expect. In fact, during the so-called “open-eared” phase – typically the first ten years of life – they show remarkable receptiveness and curiosity, even toward complex or contemporary works. This makes it an ideal time to introduce them to the world of classical music in an engaging, meaningful way. On August 14 at 7:30 PM at the Bolzano Municipal Theatre, the European Union Youth Orchestra will perform with violinist Alina Ibragimova under the direction of Iván Fischer. Prior to the concert, there will be a special introduction to the evening's program, focusing on Stravinsky’s The Firebird. Audiences will explore the Russian folktale that inspired the famous ballet and, with help from the musicians, learn to recognize musical motifs that will reappear during the performance. This introduction will be presented bilingually in Italian and German. Another special opportunity will take place on September 6 at the Bolzano Municipal Theatre (time to be confirmed), when the public is invited to attend the orchestral rehearsal for the Busoni Competition’s grand final. Since the final performance, accompanied by the Haydn Orchestra, is traditionally sold out and broadcast live on Italian television and streamed worldwide, this rehearsal offers young music lovers a rare chance to experience the intensity and behind-the-scenes atmosphere of a major international event. The theatre will be abuzz with activity, as the RAI sets up its equipment and prepares for the live transmission. Broadcast professionals will be on hand to explain how a concert is brought to audiences across the globe.
