In November the buzz in Schenna is focussed on culinary delights. Local restaurants highlight seasonal game specialities such as sumptuous venison stews and succulent saddle of venison. The sheer variety of the autumnal culinary experiences paired with award-winning regional wines is sure to thrill every gourmet. And while the palate is entertained by such delectable flavours, live folk performances further enhance the authentic atmosphere!

8 and 9 November 2025 the Touriseum at Trauttmansdorff Castle will play host to Meran’s fifth Vintage Market. Trauttmansdorff Castle will for the whole weekend be devoted to the idea of “vintage”. From 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM each day, selected market stalls will be offering collectors and browsers high-quality antique accessories ranging from sunglasses to hatboxes. The retro atmosphere will be complemented with live music and dancing from bygone eras as well as many other highlights.

The Capuchin Garden with the Sterntaler Christmas Market is already open from 10.00 a.m. on the first day of Advent - the official ceremonial opening takes place at 5.00 p.m.. A Christmas theatre performance will frame the festivities.

The Group of devils in Villnöss valley organises the traditional Krampus parade. Over 300 Krampus from all over South Tyrol await you. The festival starts at 6.30 pm; the Krampus run begins at 7.30 pm. The route is closed off. Afterwards, after-show party in the culture house of St. Peter with DJ Favy & DJ Markus.

Advent event in Steinhaus/Ahrntal valley: nativity scene exhibition, got drinks and music

On Friday, December 19, 2025, the Kastelruther Spatzen invite you to their atmospheric Christmas concert, taking place at the Telfen Tennis Hall in Kastelruth. This year, the concert will be held exclusively on Friday – a special evening full of music, emotion, and festive spirit awaits all visitors. In the afternoon, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, fans will have the chance to meet the Kastelruther Spatzen in person: an autograph session with the popular musicians will take place at the Christmas market in Kastelruth. Musical accompaniment will be provided by the Alphorn Players and the "Kastelruther Turmbläser", creating a festive atmosphere. Admission to the concert begins at 3:00 PM at the Telfen Tennis Hall. From this time on, food and refreshments will be available. The concert itself starts at 5:00 PM, when the Kastelruther Spatzen will perform their most beautiful and heartfelt Christmas songs – a touching musical experience, perfect for the Advent season. The cultural association "Il Telaio" invites to the jazz concert with the big band Jazzset from Verona.

The four cellists belong to different generations, but there are no differences when it comes to making music together. They have received extensive musical training in South Tyrol and abroad. In this concert programme, together with Andreas Benedikter on the organ, contrasting and exciting works are performed. In between, there are improvisations on the organ that refer to melodies and pieces just played by the cellists. The soft and warm sound of a cello quartet meets the power and spirituality of the organ. The Athesis Ensemble consists of musicians from South Tyrol and various regions of Italy. The instrumentation and size of the ensemble is variable - from a duo to a string orchestra. It combines a healthy mix of experience and youthful energy, consisting of teachers as well as chamber and orchestral musicians who love making music in small ensembles. The members of the ensemble regularly play in renowned orchestras, including the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala, the Orchestra Cherubini, the Orchestra del Comunale di Bologna, the Orchestra dell'Opera di Roma, the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Orchestra Haydn di Bolzano e Trento and the Orchestra del Teatro Regio di Torino. The world's cross-country skiing elite will once again be guests in Dobbiaco - together we will celebrate the turn of the year. From 2th December to 1st January 2026, the best cross-country skiers in the world will be competing for prestigious World Cup points in the Nordic Arena in Dobbiaco.
