For the fifth time, the music festival SCHLOSS GAUDI is transforming the castle‘s dungeons into a paradise for music enthusiasts. DJ Esche kicks off the evening with some original vinyl records. Then, the singer and song writer Aurela Cörta take to the stage with her Ladin songs. Followed by the band Jimi Henndreck presenting their new album “nimma hoagl”. An eager to dance audience can be entertained by the band Blackout: 12 musicians, electric guitars, horns and extra energy. Last but not least, for the grand finale, we invited the Berlin based rapper Scamigen Buben. Come along and immerse yourself in our unique and charming location between medieval castle walls. On July 5th, the ice rink in Kantun, Tiers, will turn into a vibrant open-air stage! In Niederolang, the traditional "Pfarrlinga Kirschta" will be celebrated on July 5th and 6th – a festival full of tradition, music, dance, and conviviality. The festivities begin on the evening of July 5th with a lively atmosphere, delicious food, and captivating music. On the morning of July 6th, a solemn procession passes through the village, followed in the afternoon by a festive parade of participating brass bands, creating a vibrant and melodic highlight. A must-see event for everyone who wants to experience the rich traditions of Niederolang up close.

The Village Festival of Ortisei takes place annually on the first Sunday after the 4th of July. The feast is dedicated to the patron saint and eponym of the parish church of Ortisei, Saint Ulrich. Saint Ulrich was appointed Bishop of Augsburg in 923 and helped the poor and sick. As Val Gardena was part of the Curia of Augsburg at that time, he was declared the patron saint of the village. According to Tyrolean custom, the church consecration festival is introduced with saluting bangs and bell ringing. The saluting bangs are loud acoustic signals that are fired in Tyrol to announce high occasions. The festival is celebrated with a Holy Mass at 9:00 am in the church of Ortisei. To celebrate the church consecration in a fitting manner, a parade with Val Gardena’s costumes and the music band of Ortisei will take place after the mass.

Summer Classics: Classic concert with the "Capella Lanensis" in the parish church The Capella Lanensis, based in Lana (South Tyrol), was founded in 2021 by Josef Höhn and consists of renowned musicians from South Tyrol and the surrounding German- and Italian-speaking regions. With a flexible lineup, the ensemble primarily focuses on the interpretation of early and high Baroque music – performed on valuable original instruments or replicas. The two main pillars are, on the one hand, the insights of modern musicology regarding the performance practice of early music, and on the other, the desire for lively musicianship and the search for an individual sound appropriate to each work. Improvisation, an important aspect of Baroque music practice, is also embraced. The spirit of the works is intended to be conveyed to the audience, sparking curiosity for the rediscovery of musical treasures. The performances of Capella Lanensis are therefore characterized by an authentic sound, combined with a modern and current interpretation. The ensemble is supported and promoted by the association LanAntiqua and is regularly heard at the "Lana Musikfestival" in the late Gothic parish church of Niederlana, with its famous winged altar by Hans Schnatterpeck.

In every word, in every sound, Ladin speaks to the soul and awakens deep emotions. It is a treasure to be protected, to be preserved for future generations, so that they too can enjoy its beauty. We want to open the doors and reveal the secrets of this treasure to you too, through small Ladin language courses, visits to the most important institutions in the valley, the places that preserve the history and culture of our Ladin mother tongue. You can also immerse yourself in the Ladin world, in the roots of this language, with Ladin poetry and music evenings. So that old traditions are not forgotten and so that our guests can get to know the country and its people from a different, new perspective.

On Wednesday, July 9th, the Marling whip-crackers invite you to their traditional summer festival at the fairground in Marling! Starting at 6 PM, enjoy an evening full of delicious food and good company. You can enjoy grilled specialties, sweet delicacies and a wine and schnapps stand awaits you. Summer evenings in Schenna: music & shopping. Stroll through the centre of the village after your evening meal, listen to music, browse in the shops and boutiques and buy some souvenirs to take home with you. In summer, contemporary and folk music bands fill the evening air with music in Schenna. Societies in Schenna also organise various forms of entertainment. Every Wednesday, the streets in the centre of Naturno become the scene of culinary delights. Artistic performances, great live bands and a colourful children’s programme ensure entertaining evenings. The shops remain open until late at night. Start: 6 p. m.
