The autumn festival of the Algund Music Band will take place on Sunday, October 1st. The members of the Algund Music Band will provide food and drinks, while live musical will be provided by the well-known "Fetzmusig": a brass music ensemble from the region around Merano, that has been active for over 20 years and also involves some members of the Algund Music Band. The festival will begin at 11 AM and will last until the evening. Both the "Algunder" and the "Fetzmusig" are looking forward to welcoming numerous visitors!

Marling'Folkdance Group puts on its traditional Törggelen Festival on fairground in Marlengo. Hearty traditional Törggelen with roast chestnuts, sweet wine and musical entertainment!

At 10.00 a.m. the cattle will be decorated at the Malga Tuff from where they will be driven to Fiè. They will arrive at Fiè at approximately 11.30 a.m. or 12.00 p.m. At 1.00 p.m. there will be benediction of the cattle followed by a festival at the festival place Völs.

Chestnuts, new wine, Krapfen, grilled and musical entertainment,... organised by the music band and the voluntary fire brigade at the fairground Unterinn from 11.30 a.m.

Come and listen to the traditional alphorn players at the Tschötsch mountain hut.

You can enjoy the evening with folk music and a glass of wine. Beginning: 8 p.m. at the house of community of Partschins.

The music band of Villnöss valley, invites you to the ball "Schnauzerball" in St. Peter. The band will play at the beginning of the festival at 8.00 pm and afterwards the music group "WüdaraMusi" will ensure a good atmosphere. From 10.00 pm big party in the practice room. The traditional music band Welschnofen | Nova Levante invites you to a concert in the parish church of Welschnofen | Nova Levante. Saturday, 12.10.2024 | 7.00 pm

This year, once again, a special charity concert will take place in the romantic courtyard of Schenna Castle. The Austrian pop trio Folkshilfe will make a stop in Schenna as part of their Unplugged Tour and will present themselves from a very personal perspective. The proceeds will go to the South Tyrolean Children's Cancer Aid Peter Pan. An evening that moves hearts. Help us help too, secure yourself a ticket and look forward to an extraordinary concert.

It is probably the most beautiful pilgrimage across the whole Alpine region: when autumn is at its most colourful, on the second Sunday in October, the villagers of Ortisei go up to the Chapel of San Giacomo. The location itself is heavenly: the chapel and the visitors look out across the Sassolungo from a spot on the steep mountain forest. From here, the mountain comes across like a cathedral of nature. Blessed as one is after a view like this, on Monday go to the traditional Segra Sacun market. Here it's all about the more earthly delights. The whole pedestrian zone is a lively market square, where walking through can be a bit difficult at times. Culinary delights, craftsmanship, carved and painted, are on offer. Another old tradition takes place in the market place: men ripe for marriage will buy a pear at the market, which they will decorate with a ribbon and give as a present to their chosen one. During Easter the following year, the woman has to give the man Easter eggs. Important: the man cannot forget to pick up the eggs if he wants to win his woman over.

The multi-coloured autumn leaves and trees invites you with sweet ripe apples, beckon visitors to visit the Natz-Schabs/Naz-Sciaves High Apple Plateau. For a week in autumn, everything revolves around the apple, giving rise to a series of events. The Apple Festival is held on the second Sunday in October and is the climax of the autumn celebrations in Naz/Natz. The highlight is a big parade and the awarding of the Naz-Sciaves Apple Queen title.

Every farmer’s wife has her culinary secrets! At the farmer’s kitchen on the Raiffeisenplatz market square, Scena's farmers’ wives offer authentic traditional and tasty specialities. "Törggelen" is a popular autumn custom for enjoying harvest fruits like chestnuts, apples and grapes. Ham and cheese, young wine and local dishes, all taste so much better when enjoyed in company and good music!

The ingredients are all there for a spectacular autumn in the castles of the Alto Adige Wine Road. From 17th October to 3rd November 2024, several prestigious concerts will be held in the ancient walls of the towns that unfold on one of the most beautiful wine roads in Europe, combined with the excellent wines of this territory. Wine, the stories behind its production and great music will be the protagonists of the first edition of “WineSounds on the Alto Adige Wine Road. The entrance to the concerts includes the concert itself and different tastings to discover the best of local wines that, together, constitute the Alto Adige Wine Road’s family. 4

The South Tyrolean Unterland Tourism Association invites you to the concert at the Turmhof Tiefenbrunner Castle Winery with the Aurora Duo - violin and harp - on 18 October 2024 as part of the "WineSounds of the Alto Adige Wine Road" festival. The Turmhof Tiefenbrunner Castle Winery in Entiklar/Kurtatsch is an 800-year-old property surrounded by beautiful vineyards and an idyllic courtyard with ancient trees and a large castle park: the perfect setting for the concert. Flouraschworz with their new "Korrnrliadr" have stood for the newly awakened cultural self-confidence of the Vinschgau region for several years now.
