From Corvara to the feet of the Sella Group and down towards the Campolongo Pass: in the huts along this route you can enjoy good music and delicious local specialties. The event will take place in almost all weather conditions – only in case of continuous heavy rain will it be cancelled. Knödel, round dumplings, both savoury and sweet, are among South Tyrol's most popular culinary specialities and take centre stage in this festival taking place at Vipiteno/Sterzing in September. Savoury varieties are usually made from white bread kneaded with other ingredients and include Speck-Knödel, cheese gnocchi, spinach dumplings, while dumplings with apricots in the centre (Marillen-Knödel), strawberry and plum 'Knödel' are among the seductive dessert specialities. Of course the feasting will accompanied by entertainment including traditional Tyrolean music by local bands. Knödel spiecialities can be tasted in selected restaurants the week before and after the festival.

Our events combines music and enjoyment in the village centre. Visitors can also expect a tasting of alpine and mediterranean delicacies during a traditional concert by our local music bands.

An eventful hike together to St Sepulchre's Hill with its chapel, trenches and rock bunker. We enjoy the beautiful view over the middle Eisack valley. We also learn interesting facts about the history, culture and landscape. We walk through the village to the wine-growing lookout point of the Eisacktal valley winery below, where selected wines are tasted in the middle of the vineyards. At the Torgglerhof farm, hiking guide Lorenz Fischnaller tells us about the past and present work on the small farm over a Slow Food aperitif. Farmer's wife Margareth serves up delicacies from the home garden and local farms to accompany the tasting of the mineral crystal wine. We then walk back to the village and visit the special exhibition ‘Noble Stones - Noble Tones’ in the museum. At the Huaberhof farm next door, we finish with a tasting of biodynamic wine. Our events is entirely dedicated to the Tyrolean sounds of our local music bands. On some evenings, visitors can also enjoy performances by our traditional Bavarian folk dance, folk dance groups and the men's choir.

Once a week, things get cill and relaxed: In Riffian/Rifiano or Kuens/Caines, a favourite pub becomes a stage for live sounds and relaxed evenings. Including: the acoustic trio ‘Coffee Cult’, which provides goosebump moments with cill arrangements and warm voices. Music that gets under your skin, an atmosphere that connects.

You have the opportunity to get to know the best wines, to taste them and to be introduced to the world of South Tyrolean viticulture by an expert sommelier. ONLY in GERMAN and ITALIEN language!

An evening concert with the brass bands or Bohemian bands from the Passeiertal Valley. Between the music pieces, insights into the traditions and life in the valley are shared. An evening where music takes center stage, while at the same time, more about the Passeiertal Valley can be learned.

The time has come, our live cooking show “Glurns Koch” will take place again this year on Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 15.00 o’clock. The show will be held as a part of the “Palabiratage” in the town hall Glurns . The focus is on South Tyrolean cuisine – above all the “Palabirne”, our local producers, restaurants and the great personalities behind them, who will conjure up culinary delights for you from 16.00 o’clock. Market stalls and live music, that creates an atmospheric ambience, will accompany the cooking show. With the following tasting, there is nothing left to desire – we are looking forward to your visit!

From the historic centre of Neumarkt with its famous arcades, we hike along the Geigerhäuslsteig trail to the Pinot Noir heaven of Mazon. We stroll at the foot of the Trudner Horn Nature Park through magnificent vineyards and learn all kinds of exciting stories about the market town of Neumarkt, one of the most beautiful town centres in Italy, wine growing and the numerous historical treasures along the way, from Castel Kaldiff to the Romanesque St. Michael's Church. When autumn begins in the southern Valle Isarco/Eisacktal, it starts also the so-called Törggele-season. Chiusa/Klausen celebrates the beginning of this ancient tradition with a big festival. From 19th September to 21st September, the artist's city Chiusa dedicates itself entirely to the traditions of the "Törggelen" and transforms itself into some kind of outdoor tavern. Through the streets of the town, gastronomic stands offer various South Tyrolean specialties, such as Knödel, Schlutzkrapfen, sausages with sauerkraut (fermented cabbage), doughnuts, Strauben and roasted chestnuts. A rich selection of white wines from the Valle Isarco completes the culinary offer. The festival has also a colourful entertainment program and a lot of popular music.

Experience the Wild Game Weekend from Friday, September 19th to Sunday, September 21st! On the various alpine huts in the Ratschings-Jaufen hiking area, easily accessible by the modern cable car, delicious wild game dishes await you. Enjoy an autumn weekend of culinary delights surrounded by stunning mountain scenery and cozy alpine atmosphere.

During the Game & Forest Culinary Weeks, which run from September 19 until October 5, you can embark on a gastronomic journey through the Eggental. Expect a perfect blend of innovative and traditional cuisine, with dishes featuring berries, mushrooms, herbs, and local game. In addition to culinary delights, guided hikes, mushroom tastings, and other engaging activities will allow you to explore the Eggental forest in all its diversity. Learn all the steps in the production from milk to cheese. You are also welcome to lend a hand in the production of cheese. From 10.00 am. to 6.00 pm., the Town Hall Square will transform into a bustling marketplace. More than 40 talented artisans will showcase their works, inviting you to stroll and shop. Discover unique autumn decorations, handmade jewelry, ceramic and glass items, and artistic wood carvings.

In September, Last Summer Glow invites you to an atmospheric evening that celebrates the end of summer in a unique atmosphere. Under twinkling fairy lights and warm candlelight, surrounded by natural decorations, cocktails, selected red and white wines and fresh juices are served. Small culinary highlights round off the experience for guests. An evening full of relaxation and enjoyment that celebrates the gentle transition from summer to autumn in a stylish and harmonious way.

On September 21st, the traditional Matië market takes place in Ortisei. If 21 September falls on a Sunday, the market takes place on Saturday.

Shopping Sterzing / Vipiteno, in one of the most beautiful streets of the alpine area. Merchants and innkeepers are presenting the event "The red carpet" with fashion, music and culinary specialities. The red carpet will turn the whole medieval centre in a unique shopping mile.

Traditional autumn market with regional products of the harvest season. Food, drink and music are well provided for! In addition to local regional products, high-quality handicraft products as well as typical market items are offered. This market has been held in Prad every year on 21 September since the 19th century.

Festival on the festival place Tramin organized by the Ski Club. You are invited to taste many typical dishes, served up with good live music and excellent wines from the local wineries.

Every year in September, the traditional Gsieser Almhüttenfest (Val Casies Mountain Pasture Festival) takes place in the Val Casies Valley, a highlight that attracts many hiking enthusiasts every year. The festival takes place alternately in the villages of Colle, S. Martino or S. Maddalena to give the many visitors the opportunity to get to know the numerous alpine pastures and the mountain world of the Val Casies Valley. This year the associations of Colle organise the traditional 37° Val Casies Mountain Pasture Festival on the Gallfallalm in San Martino. Rustic folk music & children programme. Performance of the "Gaslkrocha" of Tesido. A unique and unforgettable celebration to end the summer in Val Casies Valley.

Unforgettable hike on the bright side of Barbian. We guide you through the colorfulness of fall past vineyards, fruit trees and chestnut trees. Meeting point at 10am at the Information Office Barbian. Hiking time: 3,5 hours, stop at the restaurant "Oberweger/Kollmsnn". Return at 4pm, easy to medium hike, good footwear, rain shelter. For members of the Tourist Association Klausen, Barbian, Feldthurns and Villanders the hiking is free, for non-members it costs 8,00€ per person.
