The location offers a special ambience: the Wurzer Alm, which is nestled between forest and meadows at 1,707 metres above sea level. The prepared dishes are then tasted.

Discover the delicious variety of dumplings: bacon dumplings, cheese dumplings, vegetable dumplings and as a sweet finale, a delightful dessert dumpling – lovingly and with a lot of experience prepared by and with Elisabeth. In this cooking course, Elisabeth will guide you step by step through the traditional preparation of South Tyrolean dumplings. Afterwards, you will enjoy the freshly prepared delicacies together over a convivial lunch. To ensure your dumplings turn out perfectly at home, you’ll also receive the recipes and expert tips from Elisabeth to take with you. The Franz Gojer winery is a small family business whose history begins in the heart of the traditional St. Magdalen wine-growing area on the northern sides of Bolzano. In 2007, the family bought a second farm in Karneid in order to also offer white wine in the assortment. A large cellar was also built in Karneid, where all the production of the wines now takes place, as well as an architecturally interesting tasting room. During a wine tasting, you will learn more about the history of the Gojer family as well as their work throughout the year and taste the wines full of character, which unmistakably demonstrate their origin. In this workshop with herb expert Renate, you'll learn which wild herbs are best suited for a salad and what valuable properties they have. An evening of fun between food and music in Pieve di Marebbe! The original South Tyrolean apple strudel is baked together with the farmer's wife of the 737-year-old Schildhof farm - with shortcrust pastry and without pine nuts. The ingredients, tricks and tips will be explained. A nut strudel made from yeast dough is also made together. While the strudels bake in the oven, we enjoy a vegetable strudel together, accompanied by fresh tomato salad from the garden. Finally, the dessert is served warm from the oven. The event will be in German.

When the scent of freshly baked bread drifts over Obergummer, it can only mean one thing: it's baking day again at the Untereggerhof. Gottfried, the farmer and host, fires up the old stone oven and takes you on a little journey back to a time when baking bread was still pure craftsmanship – done by hand, with heart and tradition. From mid-May to early October, you can join in every second Friday to watch how flour, water and years of experience come together to form a crusty farmhouse loaf. And who knows – Gottfried might even share one or two secrets of his recipe with you. Of course, there’s also a tasting: oven-warm, fragrant and wonderfully simple – this is what South Tyrol tastes like, one bite at a time.

Every first Saturday of the month, musicians from all over the valley come together in Martinerhof's Brauhaus to make music and celebrate together. Anyone who is in a good mood, plays an instrument or is in good voice can join in.

The traditional Brenner market takes place every 5th and 20th of the month throughout the year. If this day falls on a Sunday or public holiday, then the market takes place on Saturday before. At the market stalls many different interesting things, such as clothing, utensils and goodies for snacking are waiting.
