Saint Urban of Langres is the patron of wine in the German speaking area. He is celebrated on the 25th of May. For this occasion a prayer for good weather and the blessing of the wineries takes place in the chapel of the 'Köstenholz' residence at 6 p.m.. Afterwards, the wineries of Terlano and Settequerce/Siebeneich serve their precious wines and some culinary delights – be it sunny or rainy. Venue: Via Chiesa/Residenza Lehenegg, Via Chiesa/Winery Stocker/Weinmesserhof and Via Margarethe/Residenza Köstenholz.

Thanks to the collaboration of many local associations, a unique village trail has been created in Villanders. Along the circular route, each association presents its own station, offering fascinating insights into village life, culture, and traditions. The trail invites both visitors and locals to discover Villanders from a new perspective – whether by exploring the different stations or enjoying a relaxing break with regional specialties. A wonderful experience for anyone who wants to actively explore the village and enjoy Villanders’ warm hospitality.

200 Years of the Stelvio Pass Road – Prad Celebrates History! To mark the anniversary of the legendary Stelvio Pass Road, Prad am Stilfserjoch invites you to a grand historical parade. Starting at 11 AM, the festive procession will move from Zinggweg to Kreuzweg, accompanied by numerous local associations and impressive reenactments from the past: "Korrner", Swabian children, mountaineers, historic carriages, and more. At the festival area in Kreuzweg, Prad’s local clubs will offer delicious food and drinks, while fascinating exhibitions provide insights into the history of this famous mountain road. Join us in celebrating this special anniversary!

From 26 to 28 May 2025, the new schenna e.motion event will be all about electric mobility and enjoyment. In addition to excursions with electric vehicles to the most beautiful places in South Tyrol, there will be a special supporting programme with an e-test and safety day in Bolzano, a tour of an e-plant, high-class enjoyment evenings and much more.

Discover nature at its most impressive on a guided hike with nature park guide Arnold. The primeval larch trail takes you to the "Platter Urlärchen" - mighty trees that have characterised the valley for over a thousand years. Arnold shares his knowledge about these unique larches and the diverse flora and fauna of the surrounding area. How have these impressive witnesses of time survived for so long? You will find out on the tour. Over lunch together at the Platterwirt Inn, you can continue to discuss the fauna and flora. Did you know that many local plants are not only healthy, but also incredibly versatile? On the herb hike in Walten/Valtina, you will immerse yourself in the fascinating world of medicinal and wild plants. Herbalist Rosi will show you how the little treasures of nature can strengthen your health and promote your well-being. Which plant helps with minor ailments? Which leaves and flowers are perfect in the kitchen and conjure up delicious dishes? Together we will collect "wild herbs" and later transform them into delicious wild herb dishes with chef Siegi. By the end of the hike, you will not only have discovered the diversity of herbs, but also their practical applications for your life. Our events is entirely dedicated to the Tyrolean sounds of our local music bands. In addition, visitors can also expect performances by our local Bavarian folk dance and folk dance groups on some evenings.

In cooperation with Slow Food Travel, the restaurants welcome you with traditional delicacies typical of Villnöss valley. Did you know that the remote mountain pastures of South Tyrol are not only places of nature, but also have a rich history to tell? Join us on this Alpine pasture hike that takes you back in time. Your path will first lead you to the Gothic log cabin of the old St. Anna Pfistradalm Alp, one of the oldest wooden buildings in South Tyrol. It once belonged to the Counts Fuchs von Fuchsberg, who left their mark here. However, when they went bankrupt in the 18th century, the chalet was auctioned off and later passed to the municipality of Latsch. A small showroom tells you about the hard but fulfilling life on the mountain pasture and about living in the Middle Ages. After exploring the history, you can enjoy a rustic lunch with traditional specialities in the mountain hut. Strengthened, we make our way back.
