The chalet is located on the high plateau Prato Piazza (2.000m) in the midst of the nature park Fanes-Sennes-Braies. You can easily reach it by foot starting from the parking area an Prato Piazza. On three Wednesdays – 30 July, 6 August, and 13 August 2025 – shops in Selva di Val Gardena will stay open late, from 9:00 PM to 10:30 PM. From there, participants embark on a guided hike, covering the final 350 meters of elevation to reach the Köpfl summit, where they witness the sun rising over the Zillertal Alps and the Dolomites. At the Wunschglocke, the Sunrise Concert welcomes the first rays of the new day, creating an enchanting atmosphere. To top off the experience, a regional mountain breakfast is served at 2,120 meters, making it an unforgettable morning in the Alps. The village of Laas is known for its marble quarry, which attracts artists and students from many countries. But it is also known for its organic products such as fruit and vegetables and especially its juicy apricots. The Marble Village combines both at the "Marmor&Marillen" festival, with a beautiful market, food stands, live music, children's programme and where artists and sculptors exhibit their works. For more than 20 years, this cultural and fun festival has brought visitors closer to the ancient traditions of fruit growing and marble extraction in Laas.
