ONLY IN GERMAN! From the beginning of October, at the end of the grape harvest, until the beginning of the pre-Christmas season is "Törggelezeit". After leisurely walks through the golden autumn landscape, guests and South Tyroleans enjoy the products of the harvest, especially chestnuts and new wine (Sußer). On this week's hike we visit the Untermeinlechnerhof. We take the bus from the village centre in Schenna to Verdins and then hike to Untertall to Untermeinlechner and after a cosy stop for refreshments back to the starting point. From here you are free to decide whether to return on foot or by bus. Of course, a Törggelemenü and hearty music are not to be missed! The "Leonardiritt" begins on Saturday with a special evening dedicated to Ladin music. Gastronomic specialties will be served in the tent. On Sunday the festivities continue with the celebration of the Holy Mass at 09:00 a.m. and with the horse parade in honour of San Leonardo, patron saint of horses and riders, with horses and traditional costumes from South Tyrol at 10:45 a.m.. The festival continues in the events hall with gastronomic specialties and musical entertainment. The event will take place even in case of bad weather. During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. An insider tip of the first order is the Blütenhöfefest on Sunday, 13 April 2025, in which 15 traditional farms in Lana, Völlan, St. Pankraz and Tscherms take part. Visitors will get to know historic farms and artistic residences in an enjoyable way and savour typical farm products on site. Visitors who are fit enough to walk follow well-signposted hiking trails and hike from farm to farm, while those who are more leisurely can take the free shuttle buses to the farms from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. An overview map with a detailed programme is available from the tourist office or online at lanaregion.it The event will take place in all weathers. Please note: Not all courtyards are suitable for coaches (50-seater). Due to limited parking facilities, certain farms can only be reached by a small shuttle or on foot. Larger groups are requested to register with the farms. There are limited parking spaces for coaches in Lana, two bus parking spaces are located in Lorenzer Straße and three in Zollstraße in front of the ex-Pomus. In the event that the indicated parking spaces are already sold out, it is advisable to drop off passengers at the bus station and continue to the car park of the Exclusive discotheque in Meranerstraße Lana or to the Lana industrial area where there are additional parking spaces.

It is impossible to imagine Lana without the "Bäuerliche Genussmeile - Local Farm Deligths", the annual get-together during "LANA IN BLOOM" in spring. A true feast for the senses is the market day of the local farmers, who will once again offer their farm specialities on Saturday, 26 April 2025. Over 50 farmers, including local gastronomists, will occupy the Gries, in the car-free centre of Lana, and will be available to visitors from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to taste, buy and enjoy. The top priority is best quality and unconditional freshness. The "Roter Hahn" (Red Rooster), the quality brand of the South Tyrolean Farmers' Union, ensures this. The restaurants in the pedestrian zone of Lana serve exquisite spring dishes and wild herb specialities according to old and new recipes and serve fine wines.
