This tour is a true insider tip! The climb through the Schalderer Valley, north of Brixen, becomes a real pleasure with an e-MTB – ideally, we ride in eco mode to save battery power for later. Passing by idyllic mountain farms, we reach the Zirmait Alm, where we can take a well-deserved break. There are several options for the return: If you still have energy and battery left, you can take on the legendary trail on the Scheibenberg – one of the most beautiful and technically demanding trails in Brixen. Or, we simply cruise back down to the valley and enjoy the landscape. Thanks to our guide, the route is flexibly adapted to the group. The adventure begins with a comfortable shuttle ride from Brixen to the Villnösstal Valley, arriving at Zanser Alm – from here, the real bike journey kicks off! We start on a forest road heading toward the Gampen Alm, accompanied by breathtaking views of the Dolomites and the Villnösser Geisler Peaks. The route then continues to the Schlüterhütte mountain hut. The final climb to this point demands a serious effort – but the view from the highest point of the tour is worth every drop of sweat. It’s the perfect place for a short panoramic break. After that, things get a bit more relaxed: we follow varied trails and gravel paths, with gentle climbs and descents, riding on toward the Gömajoch, passing the Göma Hut, and reaching the well-known Würzjoch. We start directly in Brixen – pedaling our way to the valley station of the Plose cable car. The Plose gondola takes us comfortably up to 2,023 meters, but from there on, it gets sporty: a challenging climb leads us to the Pfannspitz Hut, where we take a well-deserved break – the CAI Hut is currently closed for renovation. Well-rested, we continue to the CAI Hut, the entry point to the legendary downhill route CAIDOM. Once upon a time, this was where the world’s best freeriders raced into the valley – today, it’s our personal playground. What follows is a true trail adventure: technical challenges, flowy lines, and plenty of variety. This E-bike tour in the Dolomite Valley of Villnöss starts in the village of St. Peter/Pizack, heading toward St. Magdalena. From there, a gentle uphill ride takes us to rustic alpine huts nestled at the foot of the Villnösser Geisler Peaks – one of the most stunning spots in the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites – where we stop for a cozy break. We’ve selected the very best trails at the Enduro World Cup venue just for you. To conquer these demanding paths, you’ll need more than just solid physical fitness – skill, precision, and plenty of experience are essential. While the mountain lifts take care of most of the uphill climbs, nearly 3,000 meters of descent still await your mastery. If you choose this tour, you should be confident on S2 trails and not shy away from more challenging S3 sections. And remember: it’s not just about the adrenaline on the trail – take time to soak in the breathtaking scenery that surrounds you!

This tour is a must – because it’s simply a lot of fun! The guides from Plose Bike have discovered new, challenging trails, accessible with an additional climb. For those who prefer a more relaxed pace, there’s also a classic, easier route. Look forward to three summits and varied trails! The Gitschberg and Jochtal cable cars take care of most of the elevation gain. After a steep climb, we reach the Kleine Gitsch, our first summit. From there, technical, flowy, and rough trails lead us down into the Vals Valley, where a gentle climb brings us to the next lift. After another ride up, we reach our lunch break. Refueled and refreshed, we continue to the second peak, the Stoanamandl. A short rest, a deep breath, and we soak in the view. Then it’s on to the third high point, the Alte Karl, where we enjoy our final summit moment. For the 19th time now, the environmental group of Kaltern, together with the umbrella organisation for nature and environmental protection, the environmental group and the municipality of Eppan, is organising the car-free cycling day on the Mendel - a visible sign of active climate protection. The road is closed to motorised traffic from 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. from Oberplanitzing junction to the Mendel Pass. So it's free to ride for cyclists!

We start at the Rappenhöfe farms in Kalmtal and hike steeply uphill through the forest, later across alpine meadows to the rustic Faglsalm. Here we stop for refreshments and then hike uphill again to the beautifully situated Faglssee lake, surrounded by alpine pastures and mountains. We have reached the highest point here and now hike along the high trail towards the inner valley. At the end of the valley, we then descend slightly to the Valser Alm. We return comfortably to the starting point via a beautiful forest path. Elevation gain: approx. 800 m Walking time: approx. 5 hours Difficulty: moderately difficult

Approach from Stuls/Stulles to the Rafeinhof farm. Follow the original trail called "Jaufenkamm" no. 16 through the forest and across mountain meadows to the summit with ist panoramic views of the Ötztal, Stubai, Sarntal und Zillertal Alps. Forest hike to places of power & natural monuments with our guide Helga Egger. The bus takes us up from Welschnofen | Nova Levante to the Adler bus stop. From there we hike to the Staldalm farm, where we are offered a picturesque view of the alpine pastures and mountain landscape of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio and Latemar. As we walk mindfully through the forest, we do thought exercises, recharge our lungs with oxygen, find centuries-old trees like the "snake tree" that have been growing in magical places for 600 to 700 years and are full of positive energy. The Dolomites Medium Delicious Trail is a foot race along the paths of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, about 35 km with 1,900 metres of positive difference in altitude, starting from the centre of La Villa in front of the tourist office. Maximum time: 9 hours. From the centre of La Villa, the route follows for a stretch the Path of the Artists and leads to San Cassiano. There begins the ascent along the Altin ski run to the iconic Gran Risa and Piz La Villa, crosses the Armentarola area and the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park. From there, the path takes the runners up to Mt. Lagazuoi at an altitude of 2,778 m, followed by the descent to the finish line at Pocol, for a total of around 35 km and 1.900 metres of elevation gain: pure pleasure! There are wonderful refreshment points along the Alta Badia route, which have been set up by Team Delicious, where you can take a break and enjoy quality products and local specialities. Thousands of runners, from more than twenty countries around the world, have participated in the event in recent years on the trails that witnessed the historical events of the First World War. During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.

Once again this year, for the thirteenth time, one stage of the European Championships in Prehistoric Archery and Atlatl will be held in the Schnalstal Valley. In the area where Ötzi once went hunting, archers and spear throwers from the different countries of Europe will meet... Event organized by archeoParc Schnalstal.

The horseracing weekend also comprises other competitions of international importance, such as the Price of Nations (which is linked to the Crystal Cup) on September 27th, whilst the main event, the 86th Meran South Tyrol Grand Prix will be held on September 28th. Meran’s Racecourse will offer a richly diverse culinary programme, including a tasty preview of the Merano WineFestival.

We reach ‘Hofmahd’ in Val d'Ultimo, just before the village of Proves, where we begin our walk. We pass the Castrin alpine hut and along slopes dotted with orchids and alpine roses we reach the ‘Laugenjöchl’ yoke. Here we take the well-known Bonacossa path, cross the slopes below the summit of the Great Luco and along trail no. 10 we reach the Luco alpine pasture. From here a forest path leads to the Passo Palade, from where the bus takes us back to Lana. Altitude difference: approx. 300 m Walking time: approx. 5-5.5 hours Difficulty level: easy

A lot of action awaits you at the Coppa Italia Downhill race at Kronplatz! From October 3 to 5, 2025, the best riders will be battling for victory on one of the most challenging routes in the Kronplatz Bike Park: technical passages, breathtaking jumps and plenty of thrills await the participants on the first part of the Herrnsteig Trail. Be there when the elite of downhill sport put their skills to the test!

The starting point is Weißbrunn at the far end of the Ultental Valley. We hike through larches and Zirmenwald forest high above the valley to the rear Flatschberg Alm. After a good rest, we descend to St. Gertraud. Altitude difference: Ascent 490 m, descent 600 m. Walking time: approx. 3.5 hours Difficulty: easy hike
