Primary and secondary school children from Val Gardena participated in the Giro d'Italia drawing competition. A jury selected the 30 most beautiful, creative and original drawings. The 30 winning pictures will be exhibited on the town hall square of S. Cristina.

From this deep sense of responsibility, ATIRA is born: a series of meetings and excursions that take place every Monday on our mountains, designed to raise awareness among residents and visitors about crucial issues for maintaining sustainable territorial development and important for the community. With ATIRA, you become a guardian of the Dolomites: guided by our experts, you'll learn not only fascinating facts about the mountains but also how to actively contribute to the protection of our territory. It's an opportunity to connect with nature, the Dolomite nature, which is everyone's heritage and thus requires everyone's respect. Andrea, an expert mycologist, will lead you on an exploratory adventure into the world of the mushrooms, uncovering their ecological role and medicinal properties. The tour starts at the Ratschings valley station in front of the Rent and Go bike rental. We follow the Pfeifer Huisele path along country lanes and forest roads towards the Klammalm. From here onwards, the technical riders are in their element. The trail towards Wumblsalm has it all. This is followed by a short descent across meadows before a partly challenging section leads to the highest point of the tour, the Wasserfalleralm. Here we enjoy a long break with good food. Strengthened, we follow a fantastic panoramic trail to the Rinneralm. The last few kilometers are downhill on the toboggan run back to the starting point.

Our hiking - guide Martin have chosen some of the most beautiful hiking - routes and will accompany you into a world of fascination and unforgettable impressions. Reservation until midday of the previous day in the tourist office of Marlengo. Detailed programme on request.

Together with the hiking guide, you will hike from Altprags/Braies Vecchia up to the rustic Putzalm hut, where a small alpine snack awaits you. The hut landlord Seppl is known for his typical, delicious dishes! After a refreshment stop, you hike up to the Allwartstein summit (1,954 m), where you have a breathtaking view. The descent takes you back to the starting point at Altprags/Braies Vecchia on a variant of the ascent route. The pure walking time of the circular hike is 4 hours with 600 metres of ascent.

The guided e-bike tour starts at the Rent and Go bike rental at the Ratschings valley station. We start with a group game and playfully learn the most important riding safety tips. Afterwards we drive together along the Pfeifer Huisele path to Flading to the barefoot path with Kneipp facility. There we have a little refreshment at the witches' fountain. Fun balancing exercises await us before we head back to the starting point. The tour is fun for adults and children from 8 years (with a minimum height of 140cm). The e-bike tour is accompanied by a trained South Tyrolean bike guide.

Experience wonderful summit hikes with our hiking guide Gilbert! Every Thursday, Gilbert takes you to the most picturesque mountain peaks in the enchanting Pustertal Valley. At the Gampen Pass, we visit the Gampen bunker, a military bunker built during the Second World War. We then hike on a gravel road, then along a footpath and uphill in serpentines until we cross a wide valley at the foot of the small Laugenspitze. Continuing on and climbing gently, we reach the small, idyllic Gfrillneralm where we stop for a bite to eat. Marvellous views as far as the Dolomites await us there. Afterwards we hike along a pleasant track down to the Gampenstraße from where we take the bus back to Lana. Walking time: 4 hours Altitude difference: 400 m Difficulty: medium

Drive to Vernuer/Vernurio to the parking space at Oberöberst. Ascent on trail no. 21A via the Hahnenkamm to the Pfitschkopf, continue on a trail called "Lustiger Kameradensteig" and the Obisellalm to the summit. Beautiful panoramic view of Meran/Merano and the Etschtal Valley. Descent via the Obisellalm and trail no. 5 to the parking space. Climbing & action: climbing for children at the Rockarena Meran Climbing as an unforgettable holiday experience is what the climbing hall Rockarena Meran offers with the summer activity "Kraxln & Äktschn", targeted at children and teenagers between the ages of 6 and 14. In addition to indoor and outdoor climbing on artificial climbing walls, the focus is on fun with many climbing games and adventurous activities. The children are supervised by trained climbing instructors.

The ASD Bolzano Nuoto, in collaboration with the Italian Swimming Federation (FIN), promotes the “Bolzano Diving Meeting Alto Adige – Südtirol”, an international diving event, which takes place at the Municipality Indoor Pool “Karl Dibiasi” from 28th to 30th June 2024.

Climbing as an unforgettable vacation experience - this is what the Rockarena Merano climbing hall offers with the "Kraxln & Äktschn" summer offer. The ascent begins with a somewhat steep climb through the cool forest. We then enjoy a relaxed hike through the quiet side valley, which offers an idyllic atmosphere with its alpine flair, horses and cows. During the hike, participants experience nature up close and with all their senses. The babbling of a small stream invites you to feel the real summer freshness and enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings. It is a wonderful opportunity to escape from everyday life, admire the beauty of nature and can help us to calm down and feel ourselves again. After the hike, a cozy stop at Manfred's rustic alpine hut awaits us. It is the perfect end to an eventful day in the mountains that is good for body, mind and soul alike.

Sommerkraxln and Äktschn means pure adventure! With highly trained professional scramblers, you can prove your courage and scale dizzying heights in the Rockarena in Merano, sure-footed, well secured and equipped with rope, harness and helmet. We start in Maiern in front of the Rent and Go bike rental in the direction of Bergl, go past the birthplace of the Ridnaun giantess and on to the Martalm. From there we cycle along the forest road to the Gewingesalm. After a little refreshment continue to cycle to Entholz and along the Erzweg back to the starting point.

Alta Badia will host the start of the Lavaredo 80K, Saturday 29 June 2024 at 7 a.m.. The village of La Val will welcome the thousand participants of the "La Sportiva Lavaredo Ultra Trail by UTMB®", who will cover the 80 km with 4600 metres of positive altitude difference to arrive in Cortina d'Ampezzo. The Fanes-Senes-Braies and Puez-Odle Nature Parks, declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009, frame the area and are a paradise for those who want to experience unspoilt nature in all seasons of the year. The village of La Val, this year's starting point for the Lavaredo 80K, is renowned for its authenticity and tranquil atmosphere, ideal for those who want direct contact with the Dolomites. Here you can admire the traditional Ladin architecture, with the characteristic 'Viles', in which the ancient inhabitants used to live. Bib pick-up for guests staying overnight in Alta Badia: Friday 28 June from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the event hall in La Val, in San Senese 14 street. The pleasant circular hike starts at the large parking lot Saltnerstein and includes a visit at the mountain pine show distillery at the Marzuner Schupfe. Sit on a giant inflatable rubber tyre, also called a "tube", hold on to the side handholds and let yourself drift across the water through the curves and rapids of a shallow tributary of the Passer.
