The 36th annual International Triathlon at Lake Kaltern is about to take place. As always, a large number of both national and international top athletes will be meeting this spring at our lake known for its beauty and mild climate, which provides for ideal competition conditions. The race will be held at Olympic distances: 1.5 km - 40 km - 10 km. Organized and judged by: Kaltern Sport Association - Triathlon Section During the Triathlon at lake Kaltern, the following roads will be closed for traffic between 2 pm and 4 pm: via Campi al lago/Klughammer, via Kuchlweg, the section between the Kuchlweg and the cooperative Egma and the Wine Road from Termeno/Tramin to Kaltern.

The Fire Brigade of Frassineto organise a traditional horse race "Verschneider Ritt" that is followed by the Feast of the Firemen. Various riders put their riding skills to the test through a variety of games. The activity is held in the feast area "Schnappboden" in Verschneid.

A spectacular rafting tour awaits you in Rabland/Rablà and leads you from Tschars/Ciardes through the idyllic landscape of the Vinschgau/Val Venosta Valley. Navigate through splashing rapids, swim in the turquoise waters of the river and enjoy the view of the Southtyrolean Alps. Our Packraft - Tour homerun (difficulty level medium) is something for adventurous water rats who want to test themselves and conquer the Adige river in their own boat. With action, fun and assertiveness, we master rapids, go around obstacles and relax on calm passages. Accompanied by one of our qualified guides, the tour begins at our rafting base in Rabland/Rablà, where the equipment is handed out. With bag and baggage we go to Ciardes/Tschars. Arriving at the boat entrance, we unpack our packrafts (inflatable kayaks) and pump them up. As soon as all the kayaks are ready, there is an introduction to the paddling technique and a detailed safety briefing. Shortly after, we're off into some extraordinary, splashing water fun. Safety: Only a safe experience is a lasting one. That's why our guides are highly trained. We also make no compromises when it comes to equipment. It is up to date and meets all required standards.

What is transformative breathing and how can our breath help us to banish stress and access vital energy? The answer to this can be discovered in this outdoor breathing exercise workshop. After a short walk of about 15 minutes and in magnificent nature surrounded by pure air and the gentle rustle of the trees, our yoga instructor will show you how to consciously control your breathing and use it to reduce your stress levels, gather more energy and find inner peace. No matter whether you are a beginner or more advanced, in this workshop you will enhance your skills and find a deeper connection with yourself. Experience the astonishing power of breathing in profound harmony with nature.

We ascend from St. Martin and first visit the Steinhaus Schildhof farm, which can be seen from afar. The hike continues along the original Tratlegg trail, past mountain farms to Gasthof Jaufenblick. After a rest, we descend to St. Leonhard, then hike southwards along the Passer, past the Sandwirt, the birthplace of South Tyrolean freedom hero Andreas Hofer, back to St. Martin. E-Bike Tour – Freiberg - Merano Our Freiberg Tour begins in Algund. From there we ride along the signposted cycle track into Merano. In the spa town we ride along various side streets in the old town and soon reach the cycle track that leads into the Passeier Valley. At Lazag we leave the cycle track and reach the lovely Merano district of Obermais, from where we cycle in the direction of St. Georgen as far as Goyen Castle. Next we cross the Naif Valley and reach the Freiberg, where a fabulous view of Merano awaits us. We then cycle along Panoramastrasse to the Rauthof wine tavern, where we take a well-deserved break. The return journey is via a lovely route back down into Merano and then on to Algund. Participation at own risk. Difference in altitude: 650 metres

All things begin on a day in spring. (Carmina Burana) This time of year always fills us with joy, lightness, and a good portion of optimism. That's why we set out to explore the blossoming high plateau of Naz-Sciaves. Very close to nature, on foot and with one of our experienced guides, we not only absorb the landscape with all our senses on such a beautiful spring excursion, but also to get to know it better. An enchanting and varied journey of discovery in the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park, accompanied by shimmering emerald green waters. A short drive takes us to the charming Ladin Dolomite village of St. Vigil/San Vigilio di Marebbe, gateway to the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park. The hike begins at the nature park house. First we walk along part of the interesting “Tru dles Liondes” legend trail along the rushing “Rio Dal Plan” St. Vigil/San Vigilio di MArebbe stream. A short ascent leads to the gentle “Tres la Val” hiking trail at the entrance to the “Val dai Tamersc” rugged valley. Along the flat “Tru del Ega” water trail we enjoy the quiet glide and the wonderful color of the stream and reach the bubbling 40 springs “Les Fontanes” and the picturesque green “Lé dla Créda” chalk lake (1,268m). Walking steadily upwards we come to the extraordinarily spectacular small Ciastlins waterfalls (1,400m), a great and impressive ambience! A lonely, unmarked, easy, “secret” secret path below the rock bastion of Monte Sella de Sennes leads us to Fodara Masaronn and the springs of the “Ega di San Vi”. Here we are greeted by the bizarre “Dudesc Apostui” rock towers, the Twelve Apostles, the guardians of the Rautal valley. From here we explore the remaining exciting part of the “Tru del Ega” along a pleasant path to the magnificent “Spiaggietta Ciamaor”, a beautiful recreational oasis located directly on the river. From here we soon reach the starting point. At the end of the hike there is also the opportunity to visit the Nature Park House. The total price includes the guided tour, return trip with the ropeway Merano 2000 and the necessary equipment which conforms to safety standards: climbing harness, climbing gear and helmet. The 500 m long climb is perfectly secured with 1000 m of steel cable, is rated at medium difficulty (A - B - B/C) and is suitable for the less stron alpinistis or for families with enthusiastic young climbers starting from age 14. An adventure for the whole family! Participants can experience the thrill of wild water on the Adige River in specially rafts, guided by professional instructors from the outdoor activity organization "Acquaterra". From the lower cable car station of San Genesio in Bolzano the route runs over 4 km and 785 meters of elevation to the village center in San Genesio. The race on the panoramic road rewards participants with stunning views on the Dolomites and the city of Bolzano.

Ready for an unforgettable adventure in the Dolomites? The day begins with an exciting ride on the funicular from Ortisei in Val Gardena, which takes us to an incredible altitude of 2000 meters. After the ascent, we tackle a short but demanding climb to the Raschötz Hut. The steep path rewards us with spectacular views. Continuing towards Ausserraschötz, we face a short pushing section. The beauty of the natural landscape compensates for every effort. Interested in visiting one of our characteristic farmsteads? The Moarhof farm in the hamlet of Obergoste invites you to take a tour of its barn, stables, petting zoo and dairy farm. Following the tour, you can savour some farm products such as milk, butter, yoghurt, cheese, smoked sausages called „Kaminwurzen“ and bacon.

From the Jochgrimm/Passo Oclini car park (individual arrival), the hike with hiking guide takes about 50 minutes through flowering alpine meadows and fragrant mountain pine forest up to the rocky, white summit of the Weißhorn/Corno Bianco (2313 m). At the top will be served a small South Tyrolean snack with freshly sliced bacon and cheese as well as wine and apple juice - and a box seat for the fabulous alpenglow. Headlamps are provided for the 30-minute descent. Those who want to experience this special tour need good shoes and should be sure-footed.
