From Laion, we take a taxi to the starting point at the "Ramitzler Schwaige" hut. From there, we hike with our guide Herbert up to Resciesa. Upon reaching the summit cross, we can enjoy the first rays of sunshine and the breathtaking view. Afterwards, we return to the "Ramitzler Schwaige" hut, where a delicious breakfast awaits us (not included). After breakfast, we continue our hike back to Laion. Silvio Mondinelli is one of the greatest Italian and international mountaineers. He has climbed all 14 eight-thousanders without the use of supplemental oxygen, making history in the world of mountaineering with humility, courage, and dedication. But Mondinelli is not only a man of the mountains: he is also a tireless promoter of humanitarian projects, particularly in Nepal, where he has built schools and supported local development. We invite you to a special evening in his company, during which he will share his extraordinary experiences among the highest peaks in the world, moments of hardship, life choices, and the deep meaning of his relationship with the mountains. An unmissable event for those who love the mountains, a life lived with passion, and stories that inspire. The Giro delle Dolomiti, in its 48th edition from July 21-25, 2025, returns to the great Dolomite classics on the territories of South Tyrol and Trentino. Each stage (5 in total) will feature, a mountain time trial that will help determine the overall winner. For the rest of the route, you will pedal in a speed-controlled peloton. For five days cyclists ‘may’ explore the Dolomites and some of the most beautiful Alpine passes in the saddle of their racing bikes. The first stage (75km/1529m of altitude difference) will take them on Monday, 21 July from the Fiera Bolzano, which will remain the logistical centre, via Ora and Aldino to the pilgrimage site of Maria Weißenstein and from there back via Nova Ponente and the Val d'Ega. Just one day later, the notorious Sellaronda will be tackled from Ponte Gardena, which with a length of 107 kilometres and 3100 metres of altitude difference is without doubt the queen's stage. Two pass crossings that are very well-known among cyclists will also be faced on the 92km long section with 1691 metres of altitude difference on Wednesday, 23 July. These are the Passo della Mendola and the Passo della Palade, which will be explored from Bolzano again this time. On Thursday, the cyclists will head to the Vinschgau Valley. Starting in Prato, they will tackle the Stelvio Pass, one of the queens of the Alps, and not just because of the 48 hairpin bends on the South Tyrolean side. The Giro delle Dolomiti 2025 will conclude on Friday, 25 July on the Alpe di Siusi (80km/1775m of altitude difference), the largest plateau in Europe. In the afternoon, the traditional award ceremony will take place at the Fiera Bolzano, where the participants will hopefully look back on many unforgettable moments on the 411 kilometres with 9577 metres of altitude difference.

We start at the Eggerhof/Schennaberg and hike slightly uphill to the Ifingerhütte at the Lenzeben clearing. From here, we hike through larch forest to the tree line and continue over slightly rocky terrain to the Lauwand weather cross with its great views. We return to the Ifingerhütte via the same forest path and take a different route to the Gasthof Taser Alm. Walking time: approx. 5 hours Altitude: approx. 800 m Difficulty: difficult

Experience an unforgettable hike through a fascinating and unique mountain landscape. We take the public bus to Pfelders/Plan, a picturesque mountain village, where our hike begins. Together with hiking guide Waltraud, we follow trail no. 6 to the Faltschnalalm hut and continue to the Faltschnaljöchl. From there, we ascend to the Spronser Joch (2,581 m). Once at the top, we enjoy breathtaking views of the majestic 3,000-meter peaks of the Texel Group and the impressive Spronser lake district. The descent takes us to Oberkaser hut and continues along trail no. 22 via Mutkopf to the Hochmuth cable car station. We take the cable car down to the valley and then return to the starting point by public bus. Walking time: approx. 7 h | Difference in altitude: approx. 960 m ascent, approx. 1,230 m descent The hike will be in German and Italian.

19991? Nineteen. Nine. Nine. One. No, we're not talking about the average metres of altitude that Dani Jung manages to climb each week. Rather, it refers to the day Ötzi was found. Ötzi? You know: the man from Tisenjoch, the man from the ice, the mummy from Similaun, probably the most famous glacier mummy since the Copper Age. But even more importantly, that very same 19.9.91 is now also the namesake for one of the most challenging trail running events in the racing calendar. Allow me: The Schnalstal Alpine Trail! The home of the SAT is the breathtaking Schnalstal Valley, or ‘Val Senales’ in Italian, in beautiful South Tyrol. The area has served as a film set for famous Hollywood productions, such as ‘Everest’, and really offers everything that fans of technical and alpine trail running can appreciate. And it is precisely this high alpine terrain that you can look forward to at the SAT. Challenging trails at breathtaking heights, past the site where Ötzi was found, steep climbs, technical downhills, incredible panoramas and routes that demand everything from the participants, but will be so satisfying for precisely that reason.

The 8 summit march - a mountain tour of a special kind! This high alpine extreme tour covers 25 km and 3,000 metres in altitude. The route leads from the picturesque, medieval town of Glurns in the valley to the mountain peaks in the Stilfserjoch National Park. At each of the 8 summits you receive a stamp, which must be stamped on the start card. Only recommended for real mountain enthusiasts. The race starts at 09:00 am at the head of the valley in Val Casies Valley – S. Maddalena. Covering a distance of 12.4 km with 1,070 meters of elevation gain, the route winds through picturesque alpine trails up to a breathtaking mountain landscape. In summer, Rosskopf visitors can look forward to an extraordinary highlight: the guided sunrise hike with a mountain breakfast at the "wishbell". In the special atmosphere of the early morning, guests enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Stubai Alps. In the early morning, the cable car takes you from Sterzing to 1860 metres above sea level. From there, together with a hiking guide, you walk the last 350 metres up to the "Köpfl" to see the sun rise over the Zillertal Alps and the Dolomites in the east. Right at the "wishbell", the regional mountain breakfast welcomes the sun rays with a magical atmosphere. A regional mountain breakfast rounds off the programme. Served high up at 2120 metres, this is undoubtedly a unique highlight! A total of four concerts offer a great variety. The sunrise concerts begin on 27th of July with a performance by the civic chapel of Sterzing. The band "Elviras Kiss" will follow on 06 th of August, followed the band "Timbreroots" on the 10th August, Jimi Henndreck" on the 27th of August. Real enjoyment time, alone or with loved ones - unforgettable moments! We start at the Haslhof farm above Göflan and hike on leisurely paths through meadows and forests, past the coal fields to the Göflaner Alm, where we stop for a bite to eat. Covelano marble is quarried above this mountain pasture. We then descend to the village of Tarnell above Laas. The bus picks us up again there. The famous Lasa marble, which comes from the same mountain as the Covelano marble, is processed in Lasa. We take the bus to the Öbersthöfe in Vernuer/Vernurio. The hike leads us along trail no. 5 to the alpine hut Obisellalm and the natural mountain lake Obisellsee. With hiking guide Marlene, we continue along trail no. 21 to the Hahnenkammhütte hut, offering a wonderful panoramic view over the Merano basin. We return to the starting point via a beautiful forest path. Walking time: approx. 5 h | Difference in altitude: approx. 880 m The hike will be in German and Italian.

This summer, visitors to the Rosskopf can look forward to an extraordinary highlight: the Sunrise Concerts with Mountain Breakfast at the Wishing Bell. In the magical atmosphere of the early morning, guests can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view over the Stubai Alps. The adventure begins with an early morning gondola ride from Sterzing up to 1,860 meters above sea level. From there, participants embark on a guided hike, covering the final 350 meters of elevation to reach the Köpfl summit, where they witness the sun rising over the Zillertal Alps and the Dolomites. At the Wunschglocke, the Sunrise Concert welcomes the first rays of the new day, creating an enchanting atmosphere. To top off the experience, a regional mountain breakfast is served at 2,120 meters, making it an unforgettable morning in the Alps. A true moment of enjoyment, whether alone or with loved ones – unforgettable moments! Approach on the Timmelsjoch high alpine road to the parking space near the Oberglanegg Alm hut. Ascent on trail no. 20 to the Königsjoch and via the east ridge, which is partly exposed and has easy climbing passages, to the Grenzgipfel (Border Summit). The descent follows the same route. From the Gigglhirn in St. Walburg/Ultental, we hike along an ascending forest path, accompanied by the rushing of the Wildbach stream, to the Marschnellalm, the highest alpine pasture in the valley. We then hike briefly over steep mountain meadows and a short, easy ridge to reach the Peilstein with its impressive panoramic view of the Ulten mountains. Approach to the parking space in Tall/Talle. Ascent with the Hirzer cable car from the middle station to Klammeben. The descent is via the Gompm Alm hut to Tall/Talle to the parking space.
