In the mood for nature? This summer we invite all science and nature enthusiasts between the ages of 7 and 11 to the Museum! For nature-loving children who are eager to spend their holiday among research, discoveries and experiments, while also visiting the Planetarium. Every day from 8 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., children will be accompanied on their adventures by two guides from the Natural Science Museum. There will be activities both at the Natural Science Museum and excursions, including a morning at the South Tyrol Planetarium in San Valentino in Campo (Gummer). ONLY IN GERMAN AND ITALIAN! (English on requst) Take care of your health by slowing down and reducing stress: relaxation exercises have been shown to increase physical and mental wellbeing. One way is the Jacobson relaxation technique, known as progressive muscle relaxation. The technique is an easy and quickly learned method that helps to relieve tension brought about by stress and overexertion. Untreated, under certain circumstances these tensions can result in back, muscle and head pains, stomach and bowel problems and a range of mental stress symptoms such as sleep and anxiety disorders, depression and even burnout. The Jacobson Method helps us learn to prevent such problems and better deal with damage that has already been done. Relaxation exercises have other benefits too: the body secretes fewer stress hormones, breathing becomes more even, the blood pressure falls and the heart beats more steadily. And the psyche benefits too: physical tensions are reduced and the body regains its natural equilibrium, thus increasing mental wellbeing. Stresses and strains brought about by anxiety, worries and pain diminish.

Mushrooms are a central part of our diet: some are poisonous to us, others have a healing or intoxicating effect. Still others provide spice and aroma. Join us for an interesting hike with our mycologist.

ONLY IN GERMAN AND ITALIAN! Around the beehive, many garden and wild herbs grow, such as sage, thyme, rosemary, wormwood, plantain, ground elder, yarrow, and nettle. Herbal drinks are made from these plants, with herbal expert Brigitta Patzleiner explaining the beneficial properties of each herb. Afterwards, the drinks can be sampled. In addition, three take-home products are made together: a calendula salve or lip balm, an herbal salt, and an herbal liqueur. Herbs are so valuable because all their components, such as minerals, vitamins, and nutrients, correspond to the elements of the human body. This allows them to be easily absorbed and transported within the body to where they are needed. For example, a green rosemary drink stimulates circulation, provides energy, activates the brain, and improves concentration and memory. The ancient Greeks already knew this: students would wear a rosemary wreath during exams. Today, this effect has also been scientifically proven.

Did you know that wild plants are bursting with vitamins and minerals? On a short hike with herbalist Rosi, learn what wild herbs are all about and collect a wide variety of seasonal herbs, which are then creatively processed in a workshop. The guided tour will be in German and Italian.

Experience Villabassa's history up close on a guided field name hike! Discover the significance of old field names that once shaped paths and places on an easy hike. Our hike takes you along an idyllic route where you can immerse yourself in the stories and legends of special names. Participation is free, but prior registration is required. Experience and discover our world of mushrooms, worth knowing about the species, the ecosystem, the biology and the edible or poisonous value. During a hike, a lot of useful information is passed on, both for mushroom connoisseurs and those who want to become one. Dogs are allowed on a leash.

Elisabeth from the Moschwaldalm in Hafling has the right knack and is happy to share her knowledge with you. Together you will prepare South Tyrolean dumplings in the traditional way. The location offers a special ambience: the Moschwald Alm, which is nestled between forest and meadows at 1,750m above sea level. The prepared dishes are then tasted.

He returns to Vienna the following Thursday and his research produces excellent results in the form of Ritten/Renon near Bolzano. Consequently, on the 9th of July, Freud sets off from Karlsbad, where he was staying to recover from a bout of 'American colitis', and joins his family at Klobenstein. This is where the Freuds celebrate their silver wedding anniversary, on 14th September - the enjoyment of their holiday thus being enhanced by love and affection. What are constellations, who invented them and what significance do they have for us? And how many of you have ever seen a constellation from the side? After we have looked at the constellations of our starry sky over South Tyrol in the planetarium dome, we will make our own star chart together, which you can use to easily find the constellations in the sky. Then it's up to your imagination: we'll use paint and brushes to create our own starry sky and you can set off in search of your own individual constellations. In german and italian languague. The Language Café is a way to practise speaking a foreign language in company and in an informal environment. At the Don Bosco Library in Laives you will find a moderator for each table, i.e. for each language. Depending on the language you want to practise in, choose your table, sit down and... start chatting! You will talk to the moderator or moderator and the other people like you sitting at that table. If you get tired, you can safely leave or change tables. In general, it is recommended that you have a basic knowledge of your chosen language in order to be able to follow the conversation and participate actively.

The original South Tyrolean apple strudel is baked together with the farmer's wife of the 737-year-old Schildhof farm - with shortcrust pastry and without pine nuts. The ingredients, tricks and tips will be explained. A nut strudel made from yeast dough is also made together. While the strudels bake in the oven, we enjoy a vegetable strudel together, accompanied by fresh tomato salad from the garden. Finally, the dessert is served warm from the oven. This place of worship, located at the top of a hill, is the only one in Tyrol dedicated to Saint Verena. It was first mentioned in official documents in the 13th century. The church overlooks the northern side of the Eisack Valley, offering an extraordinary view of the Sciliar massif. Visible from afar, it stands on an ancient place of worship and the remains of prehistoric hilltop forts, which were later transformed into a Christian sanctuary

In 2006, the popular ‘Kinderlachen’ programme was brought back to life. Since then, the popular children's afternoons have been held every Wednesday in August in the open-air arena. The Gong Bath Sound is a sound massage and therapy that brings the participants to meditation and deep relaxation. Guided sound bath meditation at sunset Experience a unique sound journey in the open air! As the sun sets behind the mountains, the gentle sounds of singing bowls, gongs and koshis from Daniela Alber will accompany you on a meditative journey to inner peace and harmony. The combination of soothing sounds and the natural surroundings helps to relax the mind and reduce stress. After the meditation, you can round off the evening with with an aperitif in this ambience.
