Route from Altrei to Truden: from the starting point of the hike at the Altrei town hall square, follow the marker no.5 and then path no.6 to the Krabes Alm (refreshment stops from May 1st to November 2nd, closed on Tuesdays, no days off in July and August),or directly via the "Langes Moos" biotope, past the Riegenschupf to the Peraschupf, over the Pinterschupfe to the Rungganöhof and from there via the legendary path no. 8 to the starting point in the center of Truden.
By public transport from the end point of the hike back to the starting point.

Embark on an unforgettable snowshoe hike in the Pfunderer Mountains! The Terner Joch offers a breathtaking panorama – from the Zillertal Alps in the north to the stunning Dolomites in the south. This tour combines the beauty of nature, active exploration, and unforgettable vistas.

According to oral tradition, after the dissolution of the Carthusian monastery of Allerengelsberg in 1782, the farmed Alpine pastures of Klosteralm at 2,152 m became the property of a number of families in Certosa/Karthaus who set up a syndicate which has thirty members today. The farm was only accessible by a narrow mountain path until a transport cable car was built in 1959. Thanks to the avalanche barrier beneath the Kreuzspitze, a road link was provided as an “ancillary benefit”. Due to its steep and stony pastures, the farm has been used almost exclusively as a typical farm for young cattle.

Tranquil low mountain hike – clockwise through meadows and woods of the Taistner Unterrain

The Sesto ski touring trail teaches you everything you need to know for safe ski touring during a tour lasting just under two hours. The ski touring trail combines basic theoretical knowledge, for example about the correct behaviour in the event of an avalanche, with an almost six-kilometre tour on which around 540 metres in altitude have to be conquered. The ski touring trail, which is equipped with information boards, starts behind the Zin Fux restaurant and leads between trees and across meadows to the Rotwand. From there to the mountain station, the uphill kick turn is practised in open terrain before returning to the valley via the ski slope.

At the entrance to the Münstertal valley lies the Tellakopf, a pleasant hiking peak that is also ideal for an easy ski tour. This rewarding tour destination offers breathtaking views of the Vinschgau Valley, the Münstertal Valley, the Ötztal Alps and the Ortler Mountains.

Excursion of average difficulty in the middle of a snowy forest, marvellous proposal for those who are fond of nature. Starting point: Altprags/Braies Vecchia (1.440 m) Arrival: Putzalm hut (1.737 m)

You start directly from the top station of the Plose cable car. Right next to the sun terrace of the restaurant La Finestra, the path leads as a shared trail past the Gasthof Geisler to the crossroads with the ski slope. Immediately after crossing the ski slope, take the winter hiking trail that branches off to the right (lower trail). After about 500m you will come to the turnoff towards the ski hut (right). Follow the slightly sloping path into the forest and enjoy the silence of nature. After about 2 km you will reach the small village of Skihütte. Here you can stop off at the mountain hotel Schlemmer.
With snow shoes, take trail no. 17, without snow shoes trail no. 17C.

Escursion of average difficulty along the right shore of Pragser Wildsee lake and enjoy the beautiful view of the Seekofel peak until the Grünwaldtal valley.

This snowshoe hike takes you into the snow-covered expanses of the Latemar meadows, a picturesque area right at the foot of the Latemar with a perfect view of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio. Along the way, you are rewarded with stunning views of the imposing Latemar mountain peaks, which can be climbed in summer. Upon reaching the snow-covered Latemar meadows, the Latmor Alm hut invites you for a warming break.

The snowshoe hike in Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente offers an unforgettable winter experience with breathtaking panoramic views. Only about an hour's walk from the village center, the trail leads through snow-covered forests and vast winter landscapes to the idyllically situated St. Agatha's Church, which sits enthroned on a hill in secluded silence. 

Trail no.1- Suitable for pushchairs. Jenesien, departure from the sportsground on trail no. 33 or trail no.1. Walk along trail no. 1 or the E5 European long-distance walking trail trough the hilly landscape offered by the Salten, to then reach the little church of St. Jacob and Langfenn.
